Polaris's head spun from everything he'd just heard. According to the Chiefess, there was a plethora of things Sol hadn't told them. Aside from Sol's secret romace with Chiefess Alayna Bettentrough, Sol had forgotten to mention several major problems that were plaguing humanity.
Firstly, the term humanity had been altered. Humanity now referred humans, elves, dwarves, dark elves, dragonnewts, and several other humanoid races. Secondly, none of the major kingdoms got along. There were almost always wars between warring nations, and there were only two nations that had yet to get involved, leading to problem number three. Thirdly, the two seemingly non-hostile nations, belonged to the angels and demons. In the North, the Kingdom of Angels was ruled by the Queen of the Angels. She accepted no trade, no injured, no refugees, even went as far as to kill any mortal races foolish enough to get close to her kingdom. On the other hand, the Demon Empire was located to the South. Ruled by the Demon Lord with an iron fist. Many soldiers had died just trying to fend of the lesser demons that were sent out by the Demon Lord. He was ruthless and wasn't afraid to subjugate whole cities. In comparison to the other problems those three were astronomically more significant.
Polaris looked at the wooden table in front of him, unable to grasp his next move. Even Luna was way outside her scope on this issue. "Excuse me a moment." Said Polaris. He stepped outside and began to meditate, or so it seemed from the villagers perspective. Rather, he was projecting himself to an old friend. After explaining the situation, a red haired star grinned and laughed. "You were right to come to me with this, Polaris, Disciple of Sol. Expect my arrival shortly." Polaris opened his eyes, stood up and went back inside. Luna and Chiefess Alayna looked up at him. "Think of anything?" Asked Alayna, to which Polaris grinned. "I called for help."
Meanwhile, deep in the darkest reaches of the heavens, the one who answered Polaris's call for help smiled. "Well now, I finally get to stretch out my physical legs again." The figure paused his his red hue brightened with his long breath. "Damn you, Sol. Why didn't you tell any of us? Trying to handle all of this alone again?" Thought the figure just before vanishing from space in a blast of red light.
Back on Earth, Polaris smiled, trying to reassure Luna and Chiefess Alayna. However, as he did, a massive explosion from the front gates shook the entire village. The trio raced to see what had happened, only to find a crater in front of the village. In the center of the crater, rose a crimson haired, crimson eyed, muscle bound man with a gleaming smile the screamed confidence.
"So... when you said you called for help..." Started Luna. The man laughed, "and I answered the called. Lady Alayna! Good to see you again!" Alayna smiled and nodded, "Its been a while, aye Stephenson?"
