One Day.
A day has passed since I began to grasp the power that One For All brings.
You know something interesting about this world? It's one thing to see people with mutant-type Quirks on the streets in the anime, but it's a whole other thing to see them in reality.
When I saw a man with a raccoon's head, I had to hold myself back so I wouldn't grimace in disgust.
Seriously, this world is something that's really out of place.
I've spent seventeen years of my life in a normal society; the shift from that to this is really drastic.
But getting back to the main point.
After training and managing to re-create Full Cowling, I went home to have dinner with Inko... my new mother, and I went to sleep as fast as I could, but that was the hardest part.
You've seen those Isekai stories where the protagonist adapts to their new life like it's nothing, right? Well, that's bullshit.
I miss everyone I left behind, and at the same time, I feel guilty for usurping this body.
I couldn't help but cry out of helplessness, and I felt pathetic.
How can I face Inko knowing that I usurped her son's body? And what's worse, I don't even see her as a person.
To me, they're all just characters, with no relevance beyond giving me the spotlight.
And damn, I really want to think of this as real life, but it's very difficult. My mind tells me this is fake, but my body proves otherwise.
All these problems couldn't be discussed with a psychologist; they'd label me as mentally ill. So I did something that would help me adapt and also serve as training.
I...
Meditated.
Yes, I started meditating. I calmed my mind and regulated my breathing. I lasted for exactly one hour and seventeen minutes, and the result was more than satisfactory. I'm not a new person, but I feel better... get the wordplay?... But it helped me calm my fears and regulate my guilt.
Now I can chat casually with Inko (without thinking of her as a generic anime character) and also show her the reason for my change in attitude.

"Hey Mom, you remember I've been training for the past few months, right?"
"Yes, son, and I'm very proud of you for showing so much initiative." Inko is a great mother. Izuku is very lucky.
"Well, that's because I have a Quirk." Oh yeah, I didn't tell you. Turns out, Izuku was planning to tell his mother he had "magically" awakened a Quirk after getting into UA. How do I know? His journals.
"Izuku, my son, I understand you-" Oh, I know where those words are going, and I have to cut them off now.
Without letting her finish, I activated One For All at 4%, making the lightning visible but without tensing my body too much.
"Izuku, this is incredible!" She's crying now, but I can see it's not just happiness in there, but also guilt, and seeing such a kind woman feel guilty kills me inside.
"Mom... I know you've suffered a lot because of me, and I never thanked you properly. I know you missed out on many opportunities because of my lack of a Quirk, just as I know you lost many friendships. It's for all of this that I want to thank you, Mom, thank you for enduring so much for me and to apologize for being the cause of your pain (And also to apologize for usurping her son's soul)." Every word I said was as sincere as I could be. I hope they truly reach her.
"Izuku, you're my son, and I would go through all of that a thousand and one times if necessary." See? This woman doesn't deserve to suffer; she deserves the fucking heavens.
Without letting her speak further, I simply hugged her. This is my way of thanking her for everything and apologizing at the same time.
"(I promise you, Izuku. I promise that as long as I occupy your body, no one will be able to stand against me. I will achieve glory with this body and become number one... Because this isn't just a simple anime anymore; this is my life now, with all its risks)." That is my silent promise. Perhaps Izuku wasn't the desired protagonist, but he did well, and now that burden falls on me.
Dagobah Beach
I love this beach. It's my favorite place, although I haven't been in this world for long, so I can't really judge.
Anyway, right now, I'm going to train One For All.
I have a theory.
We've all seen the lightning that emanates from One For All every time it's activated.
So I thought, what is that lightning? It's clearly not just for aesthetics; One For All is deeper than that. Another Quirk? Simply impossible and illogical. And that's when I came to a probable revelation.
Excess energy.
You see, my theory is that Izuku emits that lightning because his control over One For All is simple and almost nonexistent.
To put it in perspective, you've all seen Naruto, right? Well, you'll all know that when Kakashi teaches Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke to climb trees with chakra, he explains that they must regulate their control to a middle point. If you use too much chakra, the tree breaks, and if you use too little, you slide off.
So, what happened when you used a Jutsu with poor chakra control?
Correct... if you answered, obviously... If your control was terrible, you wasted chakra unnecessarily. A jutsu that should have cost you, for example, a quarter of your reserves ended up costing you a full half.
Well, now that you know that, apply that logic to One For All. If I manage to improve my control over it, then the lightning should disappear because I'll be stopping the excessive and unnecessary consumption.
Thus, resulting in greater efficiency and longer duration.
So, thinking about that, I started to remember everything I knew about Naruto and its logic.
If you want to improve your chakra control, you must train with chakra control exercises and meditate.
And that's what I'm doing right now; I'm meditating.
I activated One For All at 1% and meditated with it active for a whole hour.
Then I repeated the process with 2% and stopped.
I decided to have lunch and went back to practice.
By this point, it was already three in the afternoon.
I continued with this exercise but increased the power to 3% and then 4% until it was five in the afternoon, and then I made a variation.
I started walking and jogging on the beach with 1% of One For All.
After that, I decided to do a basic exercise routine for muscle improvement.
Basically, I practiced everything from basic push-ups to diamond push-ups.
Then I moved on to sit-ups, from basic ones to crunches.
Back extensions.
Squats.
And other exercises.
All until my arms and legs trembled from the pain, not to mention my abs.
When you break down your muscle tissues, they regenerate stronger.
Izuku... I... need to improve my muscle tissue, and this is the most basic and effective way to do it, but it's not enough, though it's what I can do if I split my time between this and One For All.
After exercising, it was six-thirty in the evening.
I meditated with One For All active at 5% until seven o'clock, and from there, I decided to go home.
But I went home using only 1% of One For All the entire time, even while eating and showering.
Why? Well, that answer is simple: for control.
You remember the Cell Saga, right? In Dragon Ball Z, when Goku and Gohan come out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, they were transformed into Super Saiyans, and Goku explained that if they stayed in that transformation, their bodies would get used to it, and therefore the Ki consumption would decrease.
Well, I'm doing exactly the same thing.
If I don't manage to master 8% by the first day of UA, at least I'll arrive with a perfectly mastered 5%.
I'm going to kick some ass, that's for sure.
...
One More Day.

Author's Note:
Hey.
So, a second chapter for this project started just for fun, not bad, right? And I uploaded it the next day; I feel proud.
The protagonist feels sad about everything that happened, which is natural. Losing everything and then being in a world where you have a unique power is a shitty situation.
If that's not enough to give you a panic attack, then you're my idol. The protagonist channels this by meditating and fixing things with Inko; it's his way of showing that he wants the best for the woman who raised Izuku and his first payment for the guilt he feels.
Training. What did you think? Did you like my take on One For All? I always believed the lightning symbolized excess energy being wasted, and I've depicted that here.
Did you expect to see training methods from "Naruto" and "Dragon Ball Z"? I love those two animes, and I love the logic behind Ki and Chakra, so I adapted that logic to One For All, and it worked better than I expected.
Meditation is key for many things, and control is one of them. The protagonist knows the secrets of OFA and knows how to use them to his advantage. He has a huge advantage and isn't hesitating to use it.
I'm telling you right now, this protagonist doesn't mess around; he's fucking OP and is going to take every opportunity presented to him.
Any questions or suggestions? I'd be happy to hear them.
See you.
