Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Pirates of Another World

The Rift swallowed everything. Ren's senses blurred—rain, stone, glass, then nothing but endless flashes of fractured worlds. She clung tightly to Eternal's hand, her claws sparking against fragments of reality as they leapt across the collapsing void.

Ahead, the crimson glow of the Bestia Order shimmered, their forms darting through the rift like shadows.

"We're losing them!" Ren shouted over the storm.

Eternal's grip tightened. "Then we follow wherever they run."

Before she could answer, the Rift tore open again—this time with the sound of crashing waves and the cry of gulls.

The Riders plunged forward—

And crashed hard onto wooden planks.

The World of Pirates

Ren groaned, pushing herself up. Around her, the ocean stretched endlessly, the salt wind filling her senses. Beneath her, the deck of a massive ship creaked.

"This… this isn't Nocturne," she muttered.

Eternal rose beside her, his white coat billowing. "No. Another world." His skeletal visor scanned the horizon. "One filled with—"

He stopped. Because suddenly, five shadows dropped from the mast above.

Ren's golden eyes widened.

They were warriors clad in bright, armored suits—red, blue, green, yellow, and pink. Each bore a pirate emblem across their chests, their helmets marked with a golden cutlass crest.

One of them—the one in crimson—stood at the front, arms crossed, his voice sharp but amused.

"Oi. You two… who do you think you are, landing on our ship?"

Ren blinked. "Pirates…?"

The team struck poses, the sea wind whipping around them.

"Kaizoku Sentai… Gokaiger!"

---

Clashing Instincts

The standoff was tense.

Eternal's stance was firm, cautious. "Another team of warriors. Possibly enemies."

Ren frowned. "Wait—look at them. They don't feel like Feraloids. They're… human."

But the Gokaigers weren't convinced either.

Gokai Blue tilted his head. "They've got Rider tech. Never seen designs like that."

Gokai Yellow smirked. "They're shady. The skull-face guy especially."

Eternal's eyes narrowed. "You're not wrong."

The Red captain—Marvelous—stepped forward, pointing his cutlass at them. "Answer me. Are you with the Zangyack or not?"

Ren blinked. "Zangyack? What's that?"

Marvelous' visor gleamed. "Wrong answer."

The Gokaigers charged.

---

The Battle on the Galleon

Steel clashed against claws and flame as the Riders met the pirates.

Gokai Blue drew twin sabers, dueling Eternal in a blur of sparks and steel. "You fight like a ghost," Blue grunted.

"I am a ghost," Eternal answered coldly, catching the blades in a lock before blasting blue fire across the deck.

Ren faced Gokai Yellow and Green, her claws flashing. She moved with feline agility, ducking their swings and countering with swift tail strikes.

"You're fast," Yellow said with a grin, leaping back.

"But can you keep up with two of us?" Green added, charging again.

Ren hissed through her helmet. "Try me."

Their battle rocked the ship, but through it all, Ren noticed something strange—none of the pirates fought to kill. They struck with skill, but their blows pulled back just enough. Testing. Judging.

Still, she was pushed to her limit.

Marvelous finally joined the fray, spinning his cutlass against Ren's claws. His voice was firm but curious. "You fight like someone protecting something. Not like the Zangyack's lapdogs."

Ren panted, locking claws against his blade. "Because I'm not your enemy!"

---

The Enemy Arrives

Before Marvelous could answer, the air ripped open above the sea. The crimson glow of the Rift pulsed, and the Bestia Order emerged—Garras, Cobraxis, Ravgar, and Lord Veyra himself—landing upon the waves like predators on the hunt.

The ocean hissed beneath their power.

Veyra's voice boomed across the water. "So. The Riders still follow. And now… pirates?" His lips curled. "No matter. We shall devour this world first."

The Gokaigers stiffened, lowering their weapons. Marvelous growled. "Zangyack allies?"

Ren shook her head furiously. "No—they're worse."

Eternal stepped forward, flames igniting. "They're our true prey."

The pirates exchanged glances. Marvelous gave a short nod.

"Fine. We'll deal with the introductions later. For now… let's sink them together."

---

Pirates & Riders, Side by Side

The battle erupted across the waves. Garras roared, striking against Eternal, their claws and blades sparking like lightning. Ren darted across the deck, her claws clashing against Cobraxis' venomous strikes.

The Gokaigers unleashed their arsenal—sabers, rifles, and Ranger Keys—transforming into past Sentai teams as they fought Ravgar in mid-air. The ocean became a stage of chaos, lit by explosions, flame, and storm.

Ren and Marvelous fought back-to-back, her claws slashing while his cutlass cut through Cobraxis' coils.

"You're reckless," Marvelous shouted over the clash.

"You're one to talk!" Ren snapped back, flipping over a strike.

Eternal's flames surged, forcing Garras into retreat. He stood at the ship's bow, his coat whipping in the storm, his voice calm but commanding.

"Nyara! Pirates! If we let them escape again, they'll corrupt more worlds. We end this here!"

For the first time, Ren felt it—not just Riders. Not just Sentai. Something larger. A bond that crossed worlds themselves.

And in that moment, she knew—this was only the beginning of their true war.
