Chapter 2 - First time consultation

When I returned to my room, I immediately called for Tessh.

"My father told me to get to know women."

"Given your age, I think it's a good time."

In my previous life, I would have been barely a middle school student, but there's no point in sticking to Japanese common sense forever.

Also, after living in this world for 13 years, I feel like my way of thinking has become more like that of the nobility of this world.

I gave Tesh a grin as she stood motionless, looking my way.

"I was told to consult with Tesh and decide on the woman. From the way Father talked, it seemed like there were no particular restrictions as long as she wasn't a daughter of a noble… is there anything else?"

As if waiting for those words, Tesh pulled out a notepad from somewhere.

It was placed on the desk and had figures written on it that appeared to be the budget.

"There is no problem with using servants who are exclusively for the young master or servants who are not. If you are looking for servants who are exclusively for your father or master, please consult with us. The same goes for servants who are exclusively for your wife or princess."

The Eldera family is a wealthy marquis family, and has many servants working at the castle.

There are two main types of servants.

There are servants who do not have a specific master and are responsible for the general management of the castle, and servants who have a master in the Eldera family and take care of their personal needs.

Tesh, who is here now, falls into the latter category and works as my personal servant.

I have over 50 personal servants. The majority are men, but the rest are women. Moreover, most of them are young. In other words, that sort of thing is also within the scope of their duties.

"...As expected, I wouldn't lay a hand on Father or Grandfather's servants. And certainly not Mother."

There's no way I could ask my mother to let me take her virginity because she's a beautiful maid.

"If you are going to mistreat a commoner from the castle town, you will have to pay a small amount of money. This amount has been entrusted to us by our master, so please understand."

Tesh says, pointing to the numbers on the note.

I often go down to the castle town, so I know a little about the lives of commoners. That's why I found the amount surprisingly large.

It looks like I could buy dozens of slaves.

"How much money will you give to a commoner's daughter?"

"It depends on the girl's family, but... for a virgin from an average family, it would be about five Kiris gold coins. From the second time onwards, silver coins are fine. If she becomes pregnant, you will need an additional 10 Kiris gold coins."

Kiris gold coins are the currency of the Kingdom of Levios and are a fairly valuable type of gold coin.

I think that an average family living in the castle town could survive for six months on two Kiris gold coins if they cut back. Probably. But I was raised in a marquis' family, so maybe I'm being optimistic.

"You give it to me quite a lot."

"Yes. The purpose is to give them compensation and make them feel indebted."

What happens if you give him a gold coin?

"It's so sad that she was forced to embrace a noble... Eh? She got five Kiris gold coins!? Hey, you got a lot! ...Isn't that rather lucky?"

Apparently, that's what people around her say. The person who was embraced also begins to feel guilty as she spends the gold coins she received in her daily life.

This will decrease the hatred directed towards me, and conversely, increase the number of women in the castle town who want to be embraced. What a management technique...

"But that would mean we'd run out of money in no time."

"If you're thinking about expenses, you might want to purchase a slave first. You won't have to pay money every time you engage in sexual activity."

"Slaves?"

The Kingdom of Levios has a slave system. When they invade foreign countries or lands inhabited by barbarians, they kidnap the locals and make them slaves. This country is a fairly powerful one, so there is a large supply of slaves.

My father once said that our territory has also made huge profits from the wars over the past few years.

"It seems that slave traders are doing very well in the castle town. If we can sell to the eldest son of the Eldera family, who has brought us this business opportunity, we should be able to buy some decent slaves."

"A slave? Not bad."

To be honest, I've been a virgin for about 40 years, including my previous life, so I think I'd be pretty nervous around a normal woman.

Just imagining what it would be like to lose my virginity to a maid in the castle and fail is enough to make me go soft.

If he was a slave, it would be easy to shut him up even if he failed.

 But there's just one problem.

"But I hear the slave traders in the castle town, well, you know, they don't deal in slaves that specialize in that sort of thing."

There are many slave trading houses in the castle town, but there are no stores that specialize in sexual slavery.

The beautiful women are purchased by a slave trader who specializes in sexual slaves and is based in another city.

"...you know a lot about it."

"I heard that story from Viscount Galliana. I vaguely remembered it."

 I remembered it clearly.

"Viscount Galliana, is that it...?"

Viscount Galliana is a viscount with a nasty reputation.

He also looked quite dirty. His face was covered in bumps and pimples, and his body was so fat that it was hard to tell where his neck and chin met. He was the perfect example of an evil aristocrat.

Originally a commoner and merchant, he set his sights on a viscount family that was in financial difficulty, and with his abundant capital, he successfully took over the family. He is a powerful and upstart aristocrat.

"Viscount Galliana is an interesting man to talk to. His territory is stable, and I don't think he's as bad as people say. Plus, his son, Deanrissi, is an honest man."

I have a lot of contact with Viscount Galliana.

They started to approach me around the time I started selling products made with the knowledge from my previous life onto the market.

At first I was wary of him because he looked like a complete villain, but when I spoke to him I found that he was a realistic and rational man who was easy to get along with and had no need for silly aristocratic interactions.

As expected, having risen from a commoner to an aristocrat in one generation, it was clear that he possessed considerable ability.

I actively sold the products I developed to Viscount Galliana, taking advantage of his power as a merchant.

As a result, the products I made became popular in the royal capital thanks to Viscount Galliana's advertising skills, bringing great profits to the Eldera territory, and it seems that he also made a lot of money from the trade.

I thought it was a win-win situation with no debts or debts, resulting in a happy ending for both parties, but Viscount Galliana didn't seem to think so. He said he wanted to thank me. He said that as things continued, he had only made a profit from me and hadn't given me anything in return.

 I explain that to Tesh.

"...So, in order to save face for Viscount Galliana, I think it would be best to have him introduce me to a slave trader."

Viscount Galliana has a slave trading house that specializes in sex slaves, and it is said to be famous in the royal capital for the quality of its products.

It seems that this slave trader cannot do business without an introduction from Viscount Galliana, so I would really like to be introduced to him.

Wouldn't this be a perfect way to show your appreciation?

"I see. That may be a good idea. However, since it will involve relationships with nobles from other territories, it would be best to consult with your Father."

"Okay. I'll talk to Father about it."

After that, I consulted with my father about getting Viscount Galliana to introduce me to a slave trader.

The result was that there was no problem with the referral itself, but if they offered me a special discount, I should refuse and pay the regular price.

This is probably to avoid taking on unnecessary debt.

I returned to my room and, trying to contain my excitement, wrote a letter to Viscount Galliana.
