Prologue

Year 20##. Humanity made contact with another being in the universe.

It didn't take long for humanity to offend these alien life forms, and before anyone knew it, the world was destroyed.

The aliens took control of all the nuclear weapons around the globe and launched them at every country, leading to complete destruction.

These beings have the power to control natural disasters with simple commands.

They made countries that never once experience snow, experience a snowstorm.

Made a dessert full of sea life and filled it with water. Drained out an entire ocean. Erupted volcanoes that have not been active for centuries.

And most of all, they caused the reformation of the Pangaea continent. Leading to every country meeting each other.

Months later, the remaining survivors have gone mad and fight, even killing each other, for supplies.

In these horrid times, I didn't see the point of fighting with others, instead, I focused on surviving on my own.

Gathering resources and finding a safe place to live on and running away from the ships and aliens that moved around the continent.

I thought for sure I could live as long as I made sure not to make any enemies and join any unnecessary fights.

Well... It didn't take long for me to meet my demise.

In one of my outings for gatherings for firewood, I found myself trapped between the alien ship and its owners.

I didn't know what got to me, but the moment I saw them, my heart ignited and I felt my instincts telling me to kill them.

I took the machete in my hand and jumped at one of the aliens.

Before I could even touch one of them, a sudden attack sliced me on my waist, making me fall on the ground.

---

|Human did you really think you could hurt us?| One of the 5-meter-tall aliens said to me.

|We are beings that can control the natural disasters in your world with one thought.| The alien paused for a minute and made me float in the air.

|If only you had not attacked me, I would have let you go. From the very beginning, I knew you were watching behind one of these trees.| It said with a mocking tone at me.

|Tell me human, do you despise our existence?| As I heard those words I felt like the two of them were saying it together.

To answer their questions, I said, "No, I don't despise you. The one I despise is the people who have offended you guys, creating this mess." I raised my middle finger at them.

The aliens were laughing and giggling the moment I fell down.

I didn't understand what they were laughing about.

Was it my existence or my pathetic action, but I couldn't care less at that time.

I was dying, with half of my body gone I felt my eyelids heavier than it has ever been.

Before I knew it I passed out.

***

Looking at the dead human before them, the two aliens look at each other.

This was the first time they themselves had met a human who did not curse their existence for the world's destruction.

Instead, the human hated its own race for what happened to their world.
