Chapter 84 - Chapter 84 Target, Skrulls

In the sky above Sokovia, the Avengers' trio formed a triangle, surrounding Allens. Although Allens' punches had thrown them into chaos, as heroes, they knew no matter how powerful the enemy, they had to fight.

"You really give me a headache. Is this what a superhero is like? You know you're invincible, yet you still struggle," Allens sneered. He tapped his forehead lightly with his right hand, sending a mental wave into the minds of the Big Three.

"Hey, Great Demon King Allens, you're destined to be defeated by us, so surrender now," Tony Stark's taunt echoed, his usual sarcastic tone intact even in the heat of battle.

"I am Thor of the Asgardian Realm!" Thor declared, raising his right hand toward the air, his voice booming with authority.

"You are Thor of the Asgardian Realm, future God King of the Aesir, son of Odin—Thor Odinson," Allens interrupted, already recognizing that Thor was stalling to summon Mjolnir.

Peng!

Mjolnir flew from the ruins of a building kilometers away and landed in Thor's hand. Holding the hammer, Thor finally felt a measure of reassurance.

"Alright, everyone! Let's give this big demon Allens a lesson and show him the power of true warriors!" Tony Stark shouted. His silver-white Iron Man armor glowed as crimson energy condensed at its core. Vibranium particles surged and merged, while the energy data detector on his mask went into overdrive.

"The Vibranium Plasma Magnetic Storm Bomb is charging… target locked… release in progress."

A cold, mechanical voice sounded from Friday. The central cannon charged rapidly, and a swarm of dazzling crimson plasma beams shot out, carrying a terrifying magnetic force.

"Freeze."

Allens opened his right hand. A super-chilling blizzard erupted, instantly freezing Tony Stark's crimson plasma cannon mid-flight.

Click, click.

Ice spread rapidly over Iron Man's armor, freezing him solid.

Captain America Rogers leapt forward, raising his shield and striking Allens.

Peng.

Allens' right hand turned to silver-white Vibranium, effortlessly grabbing the shield and flinging Rogers away with tremendous force.

Boom.

Ironheart Rogers hit the ground hard. Behind him, Thor, lightning coursing across his body, charged with Mjolnir.

Peng.

Allens extended his right palm, seizing Mjolnir. The thunder could not harm him. With control over electricity, Allens absorbed the storm's power.

Boom.

He raised his left hand, unleashing a blinding lightning strike that sent Thor flying.

"F***k… Allens is too strong… we should surrender."

Tony Stark's armor had frozen, but its super cold-resistance allowed him to operate. Firing laser-cutting beams from his right index finger, he melted the ice encasing his armor. Despite his sarcastic wit, Tony had no time for jokes.

Peng, peng, peng.

From the ruins, the Hulk emerged, roaring. He grabbed every object he could lift and hurled them at Allens in the sky.

"Good, our baby Hulk is angry."

Tony Stark smiled grimly. The objects, weighing dozens of tons, were propelled with Hulk's terrifying strength. Friday calculated that their destructive power rivaled missiles.

Shua, shua, shua.

Allens frowned. A surge of Psychokinesis erupted; every thrown object froze mid-air before hurtling back toward Hulk at even greater speed.

Boom, boom, boom.

Vehicles, concrete slabs, and debris rained down. Hulk raised his arms to shield himself, but the crushing projectiles shredded his defenses.

Tick, tick, tick.

Hulk's arms bled, yet his rage amplified his strength, and his muscles rapidly regenerated.

"Sure enough… now isn't the time for Hulk to go easy," Allens said with a smile. Even Hulk's terrifying power was no threat—yet.

"Sir, Sokovia has reached 10,000 meters altitude," Ultron reported.

Allens smiled. His plan wasn't to destroy Sokovia—it was to reach the spaceship above Earth and capture the Skrulls. From the start, his goal had been the Skrulls. After decimating the Inhumans, he turned his gaze to the stars, and the Skrulls were first on his list.

Having confirmed this was a branch timeline, Allens accelerated his plans. The Avengers were merely distractions, useful for pinning down the Ancient One, whom he still feared. Whether she was unable or unwilling to intervene, Allens welcomed the results.

Boom, boom, boom.

Sokovia continued its geometric ascent under 150 million propellers, nearing the exosphere. Buildings floated as gravity shifted.

"Boss, Sokovia is about to reach the exosphere. Preliminary calculations indicate no deceleration; in three minutes, it will reach Earth's orbital space station altitude," Friday reported.

Tony Stark frowned. It seemed Allens had no intention of turning Sokovia into a meteorite.
