Felicity's smile widened.
"Yeah. You don't believe me?" she said.
Scar shook his head. "I do. It's just... you seem like the type of person who draws up the battle plans, but stays away from the actual battle."
"I did both," Felicity said smugly. "I drew the plans, and I fought on the front lines."
Scar stared at her in awe.
"You know, sometimes I think you're the main character in this world, and the rest of us are all just insignificant NPCs."
Felicity laughed out loud, the sound echoing across the room.
"Don't be ridiculous, Roy. Everyone in this world has a role to play. It's part of the natural balance that keeps the universe together."
Scar didn't know what to say to that.
"Uh, sure. Whatever you say, Doctor Who."
Felicity chuckled. She looked down at her wristband to check the time, gasping softly as she saw the numbers.
