Kael leaned back in his chair, arms crossed and eyes narrowed.
"So… that's what you want me to do?" he asked sharply.
Veylor adjusted his glasses, his calm voice carrying an edge of intrigue.
"I called you here because I've heard rumors about you. They say you target hybrid beings. You don't have any powers of your own, yet somehow, with only your intelligence and tactics, you hunt them down… and kill them."
Veylor's gaze sharpened behind his glasses.
"I don't know why you hunt hybrids, and frankly, I don't care. You must have your own reasons. But when our targets align… I thought, why not team up? Together, we can unravel their secrets."
Kael crossed his arms, his tone skeptical.
"Okay… but so far, the hybrids I've taken down were weak. What you're talking about is a Draekor. Do you even have a plan? How are we supposed to capture her?"
He leaned forward, narrowing his eyes at veylor.
"And one more thing… Hikari, I get it. She's a Draekor, that's why you want her. But Lothar?" He raised an eyebrow. "Why do you want him?"
Veylor adjusted his glasses, a faint smirk curling on his face.
"That's a good question… but I'll tell you about Lothar later. You also asked if I had a plan… and yes, I do."
The lab lights shifted with a click. In the center of the room, a massive cylindrical glass tank illuminated. Inside floated a human-sized Kaiju, its body covered in strange scars and glowing veins of Voltra energy. Bubbles rose slowly as its lifeless eyes stared into the void.
Karl's eyes widened, jaw tightening. He stepped back slightly, stunned.
"…What the hell."
Veylor's expression remained calm.
"This… is what my research has led me to create. A Kaiju, built from the corpses and remains I've collected."
