Chapter 2 - Ch 2

During the night, when most people slept, Izuku, or the man who had taken over Izuku's identity, couldn't sleep at all.

He knew that the next day they would be learning to develop their Quirks further, but he also knew what was going to happen during this arc. He wanted to change things, to make sure everybody was safe and sound.

This is why he silently opened the window and slinked out of it to reach the roof of the camp, catching some cold night air.

It was a habit he had in his past life, when he was overthinking things or just too worried about something, he either opened his window and breathed long and deep breaths to calm himself, or he went onto the balcony to do the same thing.

Out on the roof, he encountered a certain Teacher, Aizawa Sensei.

"Sensei, can I tell you something?"

Aizawa turned and regarded the boy with a serious look,

"Shouldn't you be sleeping? Ah, who cares, go on, kid, speak."

Izuku paused, deliberating.

He kind of accidentally blurted that first sentence out; he wasn't dead set on saying what he wanted to, but Aizawa could have been of great help, so he looked up at him, determination flashing in his green eyes.

"I know of the future. And it will be really dark. Can you help me avert this crisis on a global level?"

The teacher paused for a moment, eyes narrowed, body tensing slightly, ready to kick ass at a moment's notice, his mind running a mile a minute to gauge whether to trust this problem child or not.

Then he thought, 'What could be the harm in listening to what a student can say, even if it's a prank or whatever, it could, after all, be the truth.'

Aizawa knew of a Hero with a similar power, who could foresee the future of a person he touched or used his Quirk on, so why not?

"Say I will help you, what will happen in this 'dark Future' you speak of, problem child?"

This 'go ahead' made Izuku happy.

Aizawa was letting him tell him and not writing him off as a dumbass trying to get some attention or something like that.

That said, he should probably get to telling a bit of it, all of it would probably give his Teacher a heart attack -> not good, not good at all.

"Let's start with some light stuff: You know that Toshinori has a time limit, do you know why?"

Aizawa blinked, then he did a double take, his expression turning more serious as he asked, "How do you know of him and the injury?"

Izuku had to make sure, and now that he knows that Aizawa knows, he can come clean and not speak in riddles and stuff.

"I am his successor, I have his Quirk, I'll tell you in a second what exactly made Allmight, Allmight in the first place. His symbol of peace personality and heroism aside, that is."

Aizawa let out a breath he didn't know he was holding and let the kid continue.

"So the Quirk is called One For All, OFA for short. It has been wielded by a few heroes by now. I am the 9th user; Toshinori was the 8th."

"Maybe you know a few of the former users like Nana Shimura, En, Daigoro Banjo, and a few more."

"Anyway, you know of the Quirk Singularity theory, how Quirks get stronger over time?"

"Well, me being the 9th will allow me to use all Quirks of the previous users; the user's power will be used only once to pass it onto the next one, or maybe it will just kill anybody I give it to, so I probably won't pass it on."

"And Toshinori, like me, didn't have a power before we got OFA, so minus 3 makes for 6 Quirks plus the energy empowerment I have already displayed."

"Damn, what a long explanation, sorry for the infodump."

"Moving on to the important stuff besides powers, I won't dump all of it onto you at once, cause why overdo things, right?"

Sighing and taking a breath before he began to reveal stuff, he began to talk,

"Very soon, the League of Villains, let's shorten that to L.O.V., will attack the camp, and before you interrupt, yes, we do have a leak and I am not 100% sure of who it is exactly, so don't go pressing students yet."

Izuku spoke and interrupted Aizawa before the former could even try to push back as he normally would, cause if he didn't, Izuku wasn't confident in continuing without shitting his pants.

" I believe Nezu will propose an Idea of dorms, which was in fact made in the future, so let's keep that part of the Timeline."

"The attack will be executed with the objective of capturing and potentially converting Bakugo into a villain; he won't, but the implications of their ability to get, take what they want, and get out make a dent in hero reputation, which is bad for us."

"There will be a bunch of villains running about, so I hope I can catch Enji soon, so I can tell him one of the future things as well."

"It will break him or make his resolve stronger. What follows Katsuki's capture is Kirishima, Iida, Momo, Shoto, and me, leaving to go and try to find Bakugo's location, then All-Might shows up at their hideout, a battle unfolds between Toshinori and All For One, AFO for short. It is there that Allmight fully loses the embers of OFA left in him."

"Of course the reveal of smallmight will shock society and we need to handle it, I will train 5 times as hard so that we can present me as the symbol of peace's successor, I will probably jump in and help Allmight, making a debut, though I might get yelled at by other heroes for 'getting in the way' or whatever."

"To wrap things up, there will be war, and our 1a will be at the center of it, just like the pro heroes."

"Another thing I want to tell you is that I am no longer the Izuku you knew."

"Remember when the kid, Kota, tried to punch me in the groin?"

"Yeah that was when I suddenly was pushed into Izuku's body and assumed control of it, I don't Izuku any longer, means I probably overwrote him instead of just taking over, so I unwillingly robbed a child of his life, which is unforgiveable, so I will make sure his goal o becoming the number one hero, a hero who can save anybody, I will give it my all and go plus ultra."

"That being said, let's spar. I haven't been in a fight before, so I wanna see how a person knowing the timeline and coming from a world where powers only existed in fiction, compares to a person who was a Hero for longer than I was alive, probably."

Aizawa stood there, processing the long speech, taking in the most important Info and getting shocked at every bit of it, like what the hell is going to hit this world?! Why him, Aizawa hated being a Hero and a teacher sometimes, because, why was his student prophesying damn near the end of the world at the hands of villains and saying that his students would be basically child soldiers?

Not wanting to think on things further, he focused on the part that he is very tired, pissed off, and that his student asked for a spar and got the perfect equation for stress relief, making him only ask...

"You want a spar? Sure, but I won't hold back."

Izuku smirked, clearly seeing how done Aizawa was with the world right now. "Bring it, Teach."

With that declaration, they began their spar, I won't go into detail, but you can probably guess how Izuku got his ass handed to him all night and went to sleep grumpily while Aizawa got to beat the shit out of a student of his and relieve some stress at the same time, a jack pot if you aksed me. While getting my ass beat wasn't cool, it did get my head off many things. Sadly, it did in fact not take away the guilt that I carried within me, so I will use it to fuel my desire to improve; no useless emotion will hold me back from fulfilling the ambition of the one whose body I inhabit, or my name is no longer IZUKU MIDORIYA!

The next day,

Class 1b was groggy as hell as they were woken up bright and early to go and begin their training, their Teacher, Vlad King, explained to them that they will be developing their Quirks, to questions like, 'how will we do that and we have 20 different Quirks, how can you train all of us at the same time?' The tall, vampire-like teacher revealed that Quirks, just like muscles, grow stronger if you use them actively and push them to their limits, subsequently breaking past them, and if you don't, they wither and grow weaker.

Meanwhile, the 1a kids were hard at work. Katsuki Bakugo was plunging his hands into boiling water to expand his sweat glands, which would help in producing more sweat, thus generating greater explosions, which was the second part of his training: creating explosions repeatedly to increase the scale of his attacks.

Shoto Todoroki, on the other hand, was alternating between his fire and ice powers to make the temperature of the bathwater he was in uniform. This served the purpose of getting his body used to both the extremes of heat and cold; he might even be able to use both Quirks simultaneously.

Hanta Sero, tape man himself, was shooting tape out of his elbows continuously in order to increase both output speed and capacity, along with the strength of his tape.

Eijiro Kirishima and Mashirao Ojiro were sparring. Mashirao used his tail to hit Kirishima while the other was using his hardening Quirk, resulting in both of their Powers getting stronger in an efficient way.

Denki Kaminari was running his electricity current through a large capacity battery to train his body to handle large amounts of electricity.

Koji Koda, Quirk: "Anivoice"

In order to increase the reach of his Anivoice, he's doing vocal exercises to build up his vocal cords. This serves the dual purpose of helping him train his power and also reducing his shyness.

Yuga Aoyama is training his body to get it used to his Naval Laser Quirk to continue to use it even if the aftereffect (stomach ache) kicks in, and also to help him get a greater range of his laser.

Tokoyami Fumikage was training to keep his 'Dark Shadow' under control, even if it was going wild in the dark.

Ochaco Uraraka - Quirk: Zero Gravity.

Ochaco is training herself to withstand the effects of Zero Gravity by training her semicircular canals in her inner ear to decrease Nausea and to maximize the weight she can affect using her Quirk.

Tenya Iida is doing long training runs to increase leg strength and stamina, and of course, his output by using his leg engines, which is his Quirk.

Tsuyu Asui, Quirk: Frog. Tsuyu trains to work out all the muscles in her body and her long tongue, resulting in her frog abilities getting more powerful.

Rikito Sato is working out while eating sweets, which he needs to activate his Quirk, Sugar Rush, to power up.

Momo Yaoyorozu, Quirk: Creation.

She is also using her Quirk while eating in order to amplify her creations while also shortening the time needed to make the said creations.

Kyoka Jiro.

Increasing the quality of sound from her Quirk by strengthening her earphone jack.

Mina Ashido was using her Quirk to intermittently create acid to increase her skin's durability.

Minoru Mineta was training to increase his scalp strength to prevent bleeding from there while using his Quirk: Pop off to pop off the balls located on his head.

Hagakure Toru and Mezo Shoji are increasing the strength of both their Quirks by having Shoji quickly create multiple Dupli-Arms to look for the invisible girl as she continues to hide herself.

During my overview of 1a's training, Class 1b, and Vlad King finally arrived at the training site, marveling at the insanity of a training regimen. As a few wondered how they would handle 40 students as just like 1a, 1b had 20 students in their class, this is why the Wild Wild Pussycats Full version had to show, lending a helping paw.

Ragdoll, Quirk: Search - can know all the info about up to 100 people just by looking at them, including location and potential weaknesses.

Pixie-Bob,

Her Earthflow Quirk allows her to make the perfect places for each person to train.

Mandalay's telepathic ability allows her to give advice to multiple people at once.

Tiger's job is assault through punching and kicking, his 'Pliabody' makes his agility quite catlike.

Tiger invited all powertype guys and girls over to his camp, where I was doing quite the weird work-outs, yet somehow I looked good doing it. Tiger rushed over and yelled out, "Now punch me with everything ya got!"

"Say no more!" I yelled back as I dashed to him, only for him to dodge and swing at me, which I also narrowly dodged by performing my first backflip ever, allowing me to capitalize on that one moment of Tiger's surprise and land a kick on his midsection and launch him back with a nice little 10% OFA-enhanced kick. "Denver Smash!!!"

Tiger rushed right back to where he stood earlier and praised Izuku, "Well done, Kid! Now let's get to scrappin'!"

And another fight began; meanwhile, Class 1b joined in on the training.

As the sun set, the training session finally came to an end, and now the exhausted students were made to prep their own food. They got an open fire fireplace and some curry to cook.

Students who had Quirks that were helpful in starting a fire and ones who knew how to start a fire without a Quirk were great help. Izuku himself knew how to, but laziness kicked in, so he just got Todoroki to do it, and then he cooked it.

Soon the sun set completely, and Everybody ate. Being hungry, they mostly didn't care what they ate. If it filled your stomach, it was good.

Having finished eating and put his dishes into the dishwasher, Izuku glimpsed Kota heading outside the camp. Hearing Mandalay shouting for Kota, saying that dinner was ready, Izuku decided to go there with the Curry just like Anime Izuku would have.

Kota was hanging out at his super secret hideout, stomach grumbling and all that. Suddenly, he heard a voice, an awfully familiar one,

"You're hungry, aren't you? I brought you some curry."

Anger at being found momentarily overshadowing his hunger, Kota stood up and angrily asked, "You... how'd you find this place?!!"

Izuku stopped, not wanting to appear too uncaring of a child's attempt at intimidation and also to seem more approachable, then he responded, "Oh, sorry. I followed your footsteps... I didn't want you to starve, so I thought you'd want something to eat."

Kota, still furious but a lot calmer since that Izuku guy wasn't too patronizing or whatever, "I'm fine. Don't need any. I told you before, didn't I? I don't intend to hang out with you. Now get outta my secret hideout!"

Trying to get on his good side by showing curiosity, Izuku spoke up again, "Hmm, a secret hideout, huh?"

Kota grumbled to himself about how gross it was that they, 1a and 1b, along with the teachers/heroes, were trying to improve their Quirks. The kid had quite a hate against the Superhuman society. Maybe some Talk no Jutsu would do the trick, but I think I have to really make an impression on this boy; this is, after all, one of the first people Deku, the future greatest Hero, saves.

"Could your parents be the duo water quirk users? Water Hose?"

Kota's eyes widened in shock, and then anger pushed through, and he yelled at Izuku,

"Did Mandalay tell you?!"

Alright, Izuku, you flunked it badly. Try calming him down again, "Not, really... I kinda just overheard her and someone else talking about it."

Kota cut him off and started his own tirade: "Shut up. Everyone's crazy, calling each other stupid names like 'hero' and 'villain' and killing each other...Talking about stupid Quirks and stuff. It's because they're all showing off that it ended up like that...Stupid..."

As I said before, he's got quite the hatred directed at Superhuman society as a whole. This child hates Quirks and all of it in general.

"There's nothing else to talk about, leave!"

Izuku had to do something before Kota lost all hope; he could see it; he could be saved.

"I had a friend, he didn't get a Quirk, yet he refused to accept defeat. He refused it all, tried to make things levitate, breathe flames, yet nothing worked. But that didn't discourage him at all, he tried his best and trained as hard as he could, his wish was to become a Hero."

I took a break to take some air in and resumed my speech,

"There are many ways to think about Quirks, so I dunno whether this applies to everybody, but if ya reject it that much, it'll just make things that much more painful for ya."

"So--"

"Shut up! Leave already!!!"

Guess it didn't work fully yet, might as well leave then. Izuku was let down; he thought he could do better, but he sucked at motivating others, couldn't change things too rapidly.

"My bad. I'm just rambling, I'll just leave the curry here, eat up before it gets cold, Mandalay gave it her all."

That done, Izuku left the place. What Izuku didn't see, however, was that the boy wasn't quite as angry as he was before, so on some level, he did succeed.

"Shut up... all of you..."

And one thing Izuku didn't get to see was that just like them, Kota practiced with his Quirk as well. Behind Kota to the left was a wall, which had been damaged done it resembled a high-pressure water blast impact.

Somewhere near the campsite during nighttime,

"This makes seven," remarked a figure cloaked in darkness as he sat on a rock.

Another masked figure with a black cloak chimed in, "I don't give two sh*ts about that, just let me at'em. I'm gettin' too pumped up."

The figure who sat, stood, and turned his head to glare at his apparent subordinate, "Shut it, ya crazy bastards, not yet. We'll move when all ten of us are here." This was a Villain by the name of Dabi.

"Gathering a bunch of punks who are just strong will only increase the risk. It's better to have a small group of experienced elites. First we make'em realize...that their peace is resting in our hands."

The next day came quickly, and Aizawa was busy instructing the 'extra lessons group'

"Now then, extra lessons group, no stopping."

Eraserhead's support item stretched out and lifted Kirishima so that he stood again as the teen responded with a quick "Yes, Sir."

Mina Ashido, her normally visible yellow eyes with black sclera, now shut, clearly displayed her tired state as she apologized, "Sorry, I'm kinda sleepy..." Another one spoke up, "I didn't know the extra lessons would go on till 2 a.m. and we started at 7 a.m... "

Just to be cut off by Aizawa, who was the one doing the teaching, "I told y'all it'd be tough. You're not just improving your Quirks. Above all, you need to work on the weaknesses that were exposed during exams! Think carefully about why you're more tired than your classmates before you move."

A collective shudder ran through them as they quickly responded, "Yes, Sir," in unison.

Aizawa turned to regard two other students, "Uraraka, Aoyama, you should too. You didn't fail, but you were close as hell to doing so. If thirty points were passing, y'all were 35."

That made them flinch as they tried to hold in their breakfast, stomachs becoming more queasy as they realized how close they were to failing.

Then Aizawa peeked over the cliff to observe the remaining students, and then he ordered them to... "Move faster, all of you! No matter what you're doing, you should always be aware of where you came from. That's what it means to improve."

'Damn, this dude is inspirational,' Izuku thought to himself as he did his exercises, then a thought occurred to him, 'Shit, gotta tell him now, or I'm toast.'

He sprang up the cliff and used one hand to do a muscle-up, landing right next to Aizawa.

"Oh, by the way, L.O.V. comes today, they will visit us tonight while we sleep or do some late evening drill."

Aizawa would've kept his speech going, but Izuku's words got him to stop for a second, then he gestured for Izuku to keep explaining while he spoke, "Always keep in mind why you're sweating, why you keep getting nagged."

"10 guys, gotta jog my memory on what they can do. Uhm, got it, so..." Ragdoll leaned in and listened as I explained the abilities of the attack squad on us and how it happens. "That said, I think we should just keep going while you make some important calls and Pixie prepares some nasty surprises; remember, they are well-trained."

Hearing Pixie giggle from afar got me feeling some type of way, not good at all, so he just braced himself for what's comin' next.

"Neko neko neko neko... More importantly, everyone, tonight...we'll have a test of courage with the classes pitted against each other! After training hard, you can play hard! The carrot and the stick! So do your best right now!" She finished with a devilish kitten smile on her face as the students lamented having to do scary stuff, and some loved the competition.

Time passed by quickly once again as they now had to make their food, and Katsuki displayed his impressive knife-handling skills as he angrily yet methodically sliced up carrots while keeping his angry pomeranian energy.

As I brought some firewood, I chatted a bit with Shoto, mentioning the Kota kid, and in that same moment realised that the kid's gone. Chucking it up as him being rebellious and hanging out at his super secret secret hideout.

It gave me the perspective that words have to be followed up by actions, because only once you are powerful enough, your words become enough to handle things on their own.

Iida encouraged all of our tired selves to keep working, and so we did, we cooked, ate, and now that it's nighttime again, we are gathered in a clearing and Pixie-bob tells us what's happening next.

"Next--" As the extra lessons group got fired up, Aizawa spoke up, dashing their hopes instantly,

(Author's note: These teachers seem to always be able to do so, which is what I picked up even in real life, haha.)

"Before that, it pains me to say this, but you guys from the extra lessons group will be having class with me now."

Mina's eyes bugged out comically as she yelled her objections out to the heavens, "YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING MEEE!"

"Sorry."

Wrapping everything and everyone up, Aizawa strode off with the students, who were struggling to stay here, holding on for dear life.

Shouts of "Give us a break!" and "Let us be tested!" could be heard as these poor students were dragged to live through academic torture.

We now move on to the 'Test of Courage'

Pixie starts explaining this test.

"Okay, so Class 1b will be the first one to be the scarers. Class A will leave in pairs every three minutes-"

Is all she managed to get out as she received a ping on her phone, Aizawa messaged her.

She unlocked her phone, going on to read the message,

Aizawa: Make it 1 min. Potential Villain group attack, 10 Villains, make sure not to tell that to any child, tell'em to be battle-ready though and use Earthflow and Search along with Telepth to coordinate movement. Once they do attack, it could be a false alarm. Stay safe.

Quickly texting him an 'Ok', she turned to the class and said, "Slight change, we make 1-minute intervals and make sure to be battle-ready, we pussy cats will play pranks as well, which involves some fighting for life stuff, neko neko neko neko..."

"Moving on to what I didn't say yet, there are tags with your name written on them in the middle of the route, bring those back with ya."

Pixie paused for a moment, taking a breath, so Tokoyami had his time to shine. He spoke his iconic line and made the inner MHA fan in me scream in happiness in my mind.

"Revelry in the dark."

Pixie resumed her explanation of the rules, "Scarers aren't allowed to make direct contact with those who aren't scarers. Show us how scary you are with your Quirks."

Tiger, having one last thing to say, speaks up as well while a rainbow aura surrounds him with the word "Wow" floating about, "The class that makes the most people piss their pants with creativity and imagination wins!"

Kyoka Jiro, feeling cringe as hell, stops this by bluntly saying, "Stop it. That's filthy."

Iida chimed in as well, "I see! They're trying to make us refine our ideas by making us compete with each other, giving us more options for our Quirks in the process! AS EXPECTED OF U.A.!"

Pixie-bob tells us to draw lots to determine our partners, and so we do.

I ended up alone, just like in the Anime, so he just accepted it and went on. Group by group, they went in, and soon, scared yells were heard.

As the students got lulled into a false sense of security, their battle-readiness slipped, and that's when it happened: a pink smoke rolled in, and soon a few students fell unconscious.

Then another type of smoke filled the area, a black one, meaning something is burning.

That's also when Aizawa messaged Pixie once again,

Aizawa: See? An attack, make sure to do as we discussed before. If ya don't know what to do, ask Midoriya, the green-haired problem child; he can help a lot. Don't ask questions, just do it.

The source of the blue Fire was Dabi. "Now, the fun begins."

Suddenly, Mandalay uses her Quirk, a pinkish hue surrounding her as she alerts everybody to the attack happening.

"Now take them down, the false brilliance of the title 'hero'..." Another masked villain, the one controlling the smoke, spoke. "We, the Vanguard action squad of the League of Villains, will condemn them."

Unfortunately, before Pixie-Bob or any pro could do anything, they were beaten by the Lizard dude and some other guy in an orange jacket and a white shirt, along with a crappy haircut to complete the whole "weird hippie villain" look.

I ran to Mandalay and Tiger, hoping to help, but then I realised one terrible thing, 'Oh no, Kota!'

AN: You know the drill, please comment, review and drop some Stones, I'll be really happy.
