The System Panel and the First Choice
Suddenly, a bright flash swept across the skies of Village Number 36, and all the newcomers felt their status panels light up.
Everyone's status panel flickered, and a notification appeared right before their eyes.
The status panel of all individuals blinked, showing information about the place they were in.
The Divine Domain was also called the Divine Tower.
Everyone had the option to leave, as long as they deposited a spiritual crystal.
It had 10 floors, and each floor represented a stage:
Stage 1 → Levels 1 to 25
Stage 2 → Levels 25 to 50
Stage 3 → Levels 50 to 100
Stage 4 → Levels 100 to 200
Stage 5 → Levels 200 to 300
Stage 6 → Levels 300 to 400
Stage 7 → Levels 400 to 500
Stage 8 → Levels 500 to 600
Stage 9 → Levels 600 to 700
Stage 10 → Levels 700 to 800
Stage 11 → Levels 800 to 900
Stage 12 → Levels 900 to 1000
Each stage had 10 sub-ranks:
Common, Baron, Count, Marquis, Duke, King, Emperor, Saint, Divine, Superdivine.
📜 Drop System – Divine Domain
Life Crystals (spiritual essence):
Every creature carried a unique spiritual crystal. This crystal granted life span to the hunter who absorbed it.
📌 Reference Table:
Common → Level
Baron Level 1 → 10 Common Level 1 Crystals
Count Level 1 → 10 Baron Level 1 Crystals
Marquis Level 1 → 10 Count Level 1 Crystals
Duke Level 1 → 10 Marquis Level 1 Crystals
King Level 1 → 10 Duke Level 1 Crystals
Emperor Level 1 → 10 King Level 1 Crystals
Saint Level 1 → 10 Emperor Level 1 Crystals
Divine Level 1 → 10 Saint Level 1 Crystals
Superdivine Level 1 → 10 Divine Level 1 Crystals
Drop Rate:
Common Creatures → not guaranteed, very low chance.
Baron Creatures and above → always drop a crystal.
The higher the rank, the greater the chance of additional items (swords, armor, grimoires, artifacts, abilities, etc).
Items and Skills:
Besides crystals, creatures could also drop:
Weapons (swords, spears, bows, staffs, etc).
Armor.
Skill grimoires (allowing techniques to be learned).
Unique Artifacts (special relics with powers).
Rare Materials (for forging, alchemy, enchantments).
⚠️ The drop rate of items was extremely rare for Common creatures.
For higher ranks, the chance increased exponentially.
📊 Example Progression Table
Level 1 → 2: 1000 Level 1 Crystals, or 500 Level 2 Crystals, or 100 Baron Level 1 Crystals, or 50 Baron Level 2 Crystals, or 1 Count Level 1 Crystal.
Level 2 → 3: 2000 Common Level 1 Crystals.
Each level = x1000 crystals.
The Spiritual Core, also known as the Spiritual Crystal, was a nucleus possessed by every evolved being. The essence of evolution was stored within it, and it grew along with its owner.
When the panel disappeared, a collective sigh echoed across the plaza.
Many cried with relief upon discovering they could leave, while others shouted with excitement, already planning to climb the Tower.
Danilo narrowed his eyes.
At first, he was glad. Evolving with crystals even seemed fun — far better than wasting time or depending on vague experience points. But then reality hit him like a punch in the gut.
"…This isn't a webnovel," he muttered to himself. "It's real life. Crystals mean blood. They mean monsters killed. And dead monsters… mean people dying trying to kill them first."
🏬 The Village Shop
After some time, Danilo led his mother and sisters to a massive glowing building at the plaza's entrance.
Dozens of people stood in line before floating screens showing rusty weapons and cheap equipment.
"This has to be a joke!" one scruffy-bearded man complained. "Back on Earth's junkyards I found better iron than this!"
"This crap will just give me tetanus!" another yelled, waving a rusty sword.
Curious, Danilo stepped closer.
As soon as he touched the screen, a virtual window popped open before his eyes:
🛒 Village Shop – Beginner Items
Rusty Sword (10 Level 1 Crystals)
Cracked Spear (10 Level 1 Crystals)
Dull Dagger (10 Level 1 Crystals)
Rotting Wooden Staff (10 Level 1 Crystals)
🔥 Promotion: First Weapon Free
He couldn't help but chuckle.
"Just like the novels… even the trash loot to scam newbies."
His sisters looked at him as if he were insane.
"You think that's funny, idiot?" Maria said, hands on her hips. "A rusty sword like that couldn't even kill a chicken!"
"Worse… it'll kill us with infection," Fátima added, wrinkling her nose.
Danilo ignored them and explained:
"Listen carefully. This Shop isn't just any Shop. It's like a global marketplace. Anything we don't need, we can sell here for crystals. And there's an option called 'Bind to User.' That's crucial for future trading."
Without waiting, he bound his account.
Then, he created a trade group and invited them all. The name flashed before them:
'Danilo & His Gals Trading Chamber'
The silence that followed was deadly.
The five of them stared at him as if he were a criminal.
"You're an idiot, aren't you?" Augusta huffed.
"I refuse to join a group with such a ridiculous name," Maria retorted.
"'Your gals'? Are you brain-dead, Danilo?" Fátima mocked.
They all immediately rejected the invite.
Danilo felt offended. "Ungrateful! Don't you realize I'm building an empire here!?"
The sisters burst out laughing.
"It'll be an empire of losers," Viviane said.
"Stop, girls," Esperança tried to intervene, still clinging to some order. "Your brother is the man of the house."
"Man of the house?" Viviane sneered.
"The male of the house, of course," Danilo corrected proudly, thumping his chest.
He was booed by all five.
Shortly after, Fátima discovered how to make another group. Esperança founded it and sent out invites. The name flashed:
'The 5 Treasures'
All of them accepted without hesitation.
Danilo almost choked.
"'5 Treasures'? How am I, a manly man, supposed to be CEO of a group with a name like that!? People will laugh at me!"
The sisters laughed even harder.
"Who said you'd be CEO?" Augusta teased.
"As long as Mom's here, you'll never be in charge of anything," Maria said.
"I've always said it… people who read those stupid novels must have mental problems," Fátima concluded, drawing more laughter.
Danilo closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and joined anyway.
"You'll see. When I get strong, even the dumbest name will become legendary."
🔮 Talking About the Future
Now armed with their rusty swords, they sat near the village's exit.
Danilo looked at the streets, where dozens of newcomers were grouping up, ready to explore.
He sighed deeply.
"Listen carefully. From now on, the world isn't the same. Yesterday, we were ordinary people… today, it's different, we can hunt monsters. But don't be fooled: governments won't accept this quietly."
His mother looked at him, worried. "You think they'll try to control it?"
"Of course," Danilo answered without hesitation. "Think about it. Ordinary people are gaining powers. Some are already S or SS rank. That's absurd military strength. Do you really think generals and presidents will sit still, letting anyone become stronger than them?"
Maria bit her lip. "So what will happen?"
Danilo clenched his fist.
"Drastic measures. Confinement, mandatory registration, maybe even control camps for the weak. Only the strong will have freedom. If you don't evolve now… you'll be crushed later."
Silence weighed on them.
The sisters exchanged glances, even Esperança was pale.
"So…" Viviane whispered. "Either we hunt… or we become slaves in our own world?"
Danilo nodded.
"Exactly. The Divine Domain isn't just a game. It's the new world order. Those who seize this chance will rise. Those who stay behind… will be crushed."
He stood, pointing beyond the village walls.
"Let's hunt. Even with rusty swords, it's better than waiting for the future to crush us."
His mother took a deep breath.
And in the eyes of the Chicana family, a flame of determination was born.
Suddenly, a metallic, indifferent voice echoed in everyone's mind:
[Congratulations, stranger, for being the first being from Earth to leave the Safe Zone.]
