I'm 24 years old I just bought my first home all by my big girl self I live 15 minutes from my brother Thom one of my four brothers and my parents are about 45 minutes from me and I love my job and yet my family thinks I'm a loser who's gonna end up alone.
I never told them why me and Lee broke up my brothers would've murdered him and gotten away with it.
I'm walking down my driveway headed towards my neighbors and just started walking through the grass when my new neighbor looks up from the back of his truck and oh my goodness thankfully I'm not one to be shy so I don't completely make a fool of myself when I freeze from his gorgeousness I just throw up a hand to wave and a friendly smile and then continue walking i notice a dodge ram coming and look over and see my brother and his friend Lucas and then head straight to my driveway but I know they seen me so I'm sure they are gonna come over and be all manly and protective since they clearly saw I was walking over to the new neighbor I was telling them just moved in to make sure this new neighbor is afraid of them now they'd seen its a man or a family I'm not really sure yet.
I walk up with my little grin and hello I stick out my hand and say my name is Thea I'm your next door neighbor and gesture to my house I just wanted to say welcome and hope your settling ok. I made you some treats to snack on while unpacking. He shakes my hand and looks a little bit shy or maybe annoyed not really sure and then he says hey… Patrick, thanks for the… treats. And with that awkward attitude I just smile and say your welcome and that's when I feel a arm go around my shoulder and pull me over to a wall lol next thing I hear is hey man I'm Thom and that's Lucas my brothers hand gestures over beside me so I assume Lucas is also standing next to me
