Chapter 180 - The Awakening of the Chaos Mother Goddess

Wanda slightly raised her hands in the air, scarlet energy surging at her fingertips, an almost irresistible pressure radiating from her body.

Her eyes were cold and disdainful as she watched the three enemies still lurking, waiting for an opportunity.

Venom's tendrils twisted, Deadpool's dual blades swung, Logan's steel claws glinted with cold light; they were all waiting for the signal for the next attack. However, Wanda had no intention of continuing the fight.

"Boring," she murmured, with a chilling contempt. "You are not worth wasting my power on."

She slowly landed, her bare feet touching the dusty and rocky ground with a soft sound. The air around her felt unusually heavy due to her magic fluctuations, as if every breath was mixed with an unspeakable power. Her gaze swept past Venom, landed on Logan, then on Deadpool, finally stopping at America Chavez in the corner.

"We will meet again," Wanda's voice was low and firm, like a declaration of fate. Scarlet energy instantly enveloped her body, forming a blazing light. As the light dissipated, her figure vanished, leaving the three and a suffocating silence.

Venom's tendrils slowly retracted, turning into a black layer covering Eddie's skin. His voice echoed in Eddie's mind, with rare frustration: "She's a tough woman, I don't like fights where there's no chance of winning."

Eddie panted, leaning against the wall to stand upright: "There's a lot you don't like, but if we hadn't been tough enough just now, she might have instantly killed all of us."

Logan looked down at the still not fully healed wound on his chest, scoffed, his tone full of disdain: "She ran away, that means she's scared."

Deadpool leaped up from the ground, patted the dust off his body, and exaggeratedly stretched his limbs: "Ran? No, guys, she's just changing the way she performs her solo act. Don't you think her line just now, 'We will meet again', was particularly classic, like the 'sequel preview' trope in movies?"

His words made Logan frown, turning to stare at him impatiently: "Shut up."

"Shut up? That's no way to treat a savior!" Deadpool shouted loudly, spinning around in place. "After all, I'm the host of this show!"

Eddie massaged his temples with his fingers, seemingly used to Deadpool's endless chatter. He turned to look at America: "Are you okay?"

America nodded, her gaze complex as she looked in the direction Wanda had disappeared: "She knows what I can do, and she knows what I can't do right now." Her voice trembled slightly, but more with unwillingness. "I can't let her continue like this, unchecked."

Deadpool suddenly chimed in, his tone light: "Wow, America, that line of yours really sounds like the mark of a superhero awakening! Is the next step making a personal biopic?"

America glared at him, while Deadpool made a face, as if completely unconcerned.

"Alright," Logan interrupted their conversation, his voice low and stern. "We need to get out of here quickly. She'll be back, and next time she might not give us a chance to breathe."

Dominic's figure emerged from the shadows, his expression still calm, his eyes without a ripple. He simply scanned the surroundings, his tone flat but carrying undeniable power: "Move."

Deadpool walked last, carrying his dual blades, looking back at the empty sewer, humming an unknown tune: "Oh, I really hope next time she'll be less temperamental and more interesting. After all, I'm the mood setter among the superheroes!"

The group slowly walked through the dark sewer, their footsteps echoing on the damp ground. Dominic walked at the front, his eyes flashing with a faint red light, his x-ray vision like a scanner, constantly sweeping every wall and pipe ahead. Logan followed closely, sniffing lightly, as if confirming every unusual scent in the air. Eddie walked with his head down, like a child being dragged, but Venom's tendrils occasionally emerged from behind him, poking at the walls, as if passing the time.

"What a godforsaken place," Logan muttered in a low voice. "Sewers are never a good sign."

Deadpool swaggered at the back, carrying his dual blades, humming a tune completely out of place: "We are underground warriors, brave heroes crossing the darkness! Wait, isn't that lyric cool? I need to write that down."

"Shut up," Eddie and Logan said in unison, their voices filled with barely suppressed irritation.

Finally, they stopped in front of a dilapidated exit. Dominic raised his hand and gently waved, and the iron door made a harsh metal scraping sound, slowly opening. A beam of bright sunlight streamed in from outside, making everyone squint.

America was the first to run out, standing in the sunlight and taking deep breaths of fresh air: "Finally, finally out." She turned around, a hint of eager anticipation on her face. "I'll try again, see if I can open a wormhole."

She closed her eyes, drawing arcs in the air with her hands, and faint ripples began to appear in the air. She stomped her foot suddenly, and a small, shimmering wormhole appeared in front of them, only the size of a fist, and wobbly, looking like it could disappear at any moment.

"Uh, okay," America said, a little discouraged. "This isn't the size I wanted, but it's a start, right?"

"Haha, a tiny wormhole!" Deadpool immediately rushed over and poked the mini-wormhole with his finger, instantly recoiling. "Hey, this thing is kind of interesting." He suddenly seemed to remember something and slapped his head. "Right, I have a device! I completely forgot!"

Deadpool quickly pulled out his The Multiverse travel device, showing it to everyone with an excited look: "Look, this is the latest space-time technology, easy peasy! Ready, everyone? Let's get out of this terrible World!"

"Finally something useful," Logan frowned, his tone cold, but there was clearly some anticipation in his eyes.

Eddie nodded, his arms crossed: "Exactly, I've had enough of HYDRA hunting us."

Deadpool pressed the button, but there was no reaction. The device emitted a low hum and then completely died. He looked at the device in his hand, then looked up with an awkward expression: "Uh, it seems... it won't start."

"Are you serious?" Logan narrowed his eyes, a hint of danger in his tone. "Weren't you just bragging that this was 'the latest space-time technology'?"

"Don't worry, don't worry," Deadpool waved his hands, forcing a smile. "Probably a magnetic field problem, ah, it must be a magnetic field problem!"

Dominic coldly interrupted their conversation: "It is indeed a magnetic field problem. HYDRA controls the Space Stone, and they used it to change the magnetic field of the entire New York, blocking any unauthorized space teleportation."

"The Space Stone?" Eddie frowned deeply, Venom's voice echoing in his mind with a hint of greed: "Oh, the Space Stone, sounds like something delicious."

"Stop dreaming," Eddie whispered, stopping him.

"More importantly," Dominic continued, his voice calm and firm. "I have confirmed the location of their Space Stone, it's in Washington. That's HYDRA's heart, we must go there."

Logan raised an eyebrow, a cold smile playing on his lips: "This is getting more and more interesting."

"Oh, going to Washington!" Deadpool jumped up excitedly. "Maybe we can even visit the Statue of Liberty on the way, oh, no, this is HYDRA's World, the Statue of Liberty might have turned into a Red Skull statue."

"Shut up," everyone said in unison again.

America looked at Dominic, a hint of uncertainty in her tone: "So if we go to Washington, can we be sure to get the Space Stone?"

Dominic's gaze slightly hardened, but his tone was incredibly firm: "That's not a question of choice, but our only path."

"We go."

"Destroy it."

Wanda's figure slowly entered the Space Stone research institute's gate, her bare feet stepping on the smooth marble floor. Each step was like a gentle touch, yet it exuded a presence that was hard to ignore. A faint scarlet glow emanated from the soles of her feet, leaving a faint trace of magic in the air with each step, as if the ground was bearing some ancient and powerful force.

Arnim Zola's mechanical body slid out from the corner, his optical lenses focusing on Wanda. His voice was mechanical and cold: "The Commander told me you need to use the energy of the Space Stone." He paused, his gaze meticulously observing the scarlet aura floating around Wanda. "What is your purpose?"

Wanda did not answer immediately, her bare feet standing firmly, her chest rising and falling slightly, emitting a mist of scarlet and black intertwined. Her gaze was icy, and a ripple of chaos magic appeared between her fingers: "That man named Dominic is a threat. I need the energy of the Space Stone to combine it with my magic, to tear open more dimensions, to summon more power." Her tone was unquestionable, as if stating an inevitable outcome. "Now, get out."

Arnim Zola did not argue, his optical lenses flickered, as if thinking about something, then slowly turned around, his mechanical body making a slight clicking sound as he slid out of the room. As he left, his final glance stopped on Wanda's back, a look of deep apprehension.

Only Wanda remained in the room, the scarlet mist surging from her chest growing thicker, the Darkhold silently floating before her, its pages turning automatically, as if responding to her will. The Space Stone was placed in an energy slot in the center of the room, emitting a cold blue light, forming a stark color contrast with Wanda's scarlet magic.

Wanda slowly extended her hand, her fingertips gently touching the Darkhold, whispering a spell. The light of the Space Stone began to flicker, its energy drawn by the magic ripples, intertwining with her power. A complex expression appeared on her face, a mixture of anger, sadness, and longing.

"Billy, Tommy..." Her voice was low and trembling, with a hint of almost broken pain. She closed her eyes, as if recalling something, or as if resisting an unbearable emotion. "Mommy will find you... no matter what it takes."

The spell from the Darkhold whispered in her ear, like an urging, or a guide. The energy of the Space Stone surged into her magic, the scarlet aura growing thicker, the air around her seeming to distort. She continued to talk to herself, her voice gradually rising, her emotions so intense they seemed to tear the tranquility of the room.

"They say I'm crazy, they say I'm a monster, but I'm just a mother." She suddenly opened her eyes, scarlet light surging in her eye sockets. "I don't need their understanding, I don't need their pity. I just want my children... I want them in my arms, listening to the lullabies I sing, protecting them in their dreams."

Her voice gradually lowered, but every word was filled with determination and unshakeable will: "If this World doesn't allow me to have them, then I will create a World that belongs to us... a World that belongs only to us."

With a wave of her hand, the energy of the Space Stone surged into her body like a flood, the power of the Darkhold intensifying with it, the scarlet magic fluctuation instantly sweeping through the entire room. Wanda's figure was enveloped in a halo of scarlet and blue light intertwined, looking like a Chaos Goddess descending upon the World.

She whispered: "Multiversal monster, Gargantos... all powers, heed my call. What I want is not just to find my children, what I want is a World without limits, a World where only I have the final say."

The energy surge in the room reached its peak, scarlet and blue light shooting up together, piercing straight through the research institute's ceiling, with a destructive momentum. Wanda's lips slightly curved up, her eyes filled with a strange calmness and endless resolve.

She finally whispered softly: "Billy, Tommy, wait for Mommy. Soon, we will be together."
