The next day, Fang woke up early. Sunlight spilled into her room, casting golden rays across her face. She covered them with her hand and smiled faintly. Rising from bed, she walked to the door, opened it, and stepped out. The garden was in full bloom—flowers swayed gently, and butterflies hovered, sipping nectar. A peaceful smile touched her lips as she strolled through the garden.
To her surprise, the Queen was already awake, sitting amidst the blossoms. Fang walked toward her and gently tapped her shoulder. The Queen's maid looked up with a grin.
"My Queen, your Fang is here," she said cheerfully.
Fang chuckled as the Queen turned to her with a warm smile.
"Fang, why are you up so early?" she asked.
Fang sat beside her and replied, "I thought I was the first to wake up, but you beat me to it," she smiled.
The Queen shared a glance with her maid and said, "I'm just too happy to sleep."
Fang tilted her head curiously. "What happened, my Queen?"
The maid giggled. "She's happy because you're back... and her son is too."
The Queen added with a shy chuckle, "I've decided... to marry you and Syaoran. Tomorrow."
Fang's eyes widened in shock. Her cheeks flushed red. "T-Tomorrow?! Isn't that a bit sudden?"
The Queen laughed. "So you're not denying it—you want to marry him!"
Fang looked down shyly but nodded. The Queen took her hands, smiling brightly. "Come with me. We'll ask Syaoran after breakfast."
---
During breakfast, the Queen, Fang, and the Grandfather sat at the table. Soon, Syaoran and Taio entered, paying their respects before joining them. Syaoran noticed Fang's flushed cheeks and whispered, "Why are you blushing? Did you see your reflection and fall for yourself?"
Fang glared at him with a bombastic side-eye. He laughed, amused.
The Queen cleared her throat. "Syaoran, how is the Lycan Clan? Any issues?"
He replied while eating, "The people are happy. Everything's peaceful."
The Queen and Grandfather exchanged a knowing look. Then the Queen dropped the real question.
"Syaoran, we've decided to marry you off... tomorrow. What do you think?"
Fang blushed furiously. Taio watched with sparkling eyes like an excited younger brother.
Syaoran smirked. "So that's what all this is about?" He looked at his mother and added, "Even if the wedding were today, I would marry her—without hesitation."
Fang looked at him softly, her heart full.
The Queen suddenly stood. "Then it's settled! I'm going to start the preparations!" She left in a hurry, laughing excitedly.
The rest burst into laughter. Taio elbowed Syaoran. "Your Majesty... you're finally getting married!"
Syaoran smiled at Fang. "I'm blessed to marry her. And this time—I won't lose her again."
The Grandfather looked at Fang with reverence. "Goddess Lunarya, we are honored to have you. You are one of us now."
Fang smiled, and in that moment, her divine presence awakened. Golden light shimmered around her. Her true form appeared—Lunarya, bathed in a celestial glow.
Outside, the clouds parted. Flowers burst into even richer colors. Golden dust rained from the heavens. It was a sign: a blessing from above.
Once, Lunarya had walked among them as a goddess.
Now, she would walk as a bride—ready to marry the one she loved after enduring fate's cruelest trials.
