Chapter 217 - Enemy from Outer Space

"Cough, yes, yes, just a few people," Atomic Samurai said, a little embarrassed.

He hadn't expected so many people to come. He'd been quite flustered by the whole thing these past few days.

At first, he'd only told his disciple, Iaian, and a few others, to let them witness a battle between strong individuals.

After all, observing powerful fighters in action was extremely beneficial for their future paths.

But these good-for-nothing guys ended up chatting with other heroes and accidentally blurted the whole thing out. Suddenly, the entire world knew about it.

Then, Bang, Child Emperor, and Tank-Top Master, all S-Class heroes, came knocking, and he couldn't very well refuse them.

Furthermore, the Swordsman Association members also wanted to witness the battle of these top-tier fighters.

These swordsmen were the type who would die for the Way! He couldn't possibly refuse them, could he?

Then came the A-Class heroes, association executives, and magnates...

Slowly, the crowd grew until it nearly filled an entire street. Almost everyone of note on the planet came, drawn by the smell of opportunity.

If an accident were to occur and everyone here died, it would throw the entire world into chaos, not just economically, but also in terms of top-tier combat strength. There would be a huge gap.

"That... can, can you do it?" Atomic Samurai asked nervously, his back to the street.

Being stared at by thousands of people, Blast could only force a straight face and say, "Of course there's no problem. Forget a street, I can teleport them to outer space, even a whole city."

After saying that, Blast immediately realized something and said, "Hey, that's enough people. Don't add any more."

"Oh." Atomic Samurai nodded obediently.

But Blast felt there was a hint of disappointment in the other person's tone.

If I hadn't refused, would this guy really have brought an entire city's worth of people over?

On the other side, Byakuya looked at Tatsumaki and the woman standing next to her with surprise.

"Why did you bring your sister here?" Byakuya asked, pointing at Hellish Blizzard.

In the past few days, he had heard from Tatsumaki that Hellish Blizzard's mental state had suddenly shown signs of collapse, and she had been admitted to the hospital.

As a result, Tatsumaki, who should have been with Byakuya day and night, had spent several days in the hospital visiting her sister, but she refused to say why her sister's mental state was abnormal.

So, how did she suddenly get discharged?

"This girl heard about your fight with One-Punch Man and, for some reason, wanted to come and see it too," Tatsumaki said.

While Tatsumaki was speaking, Hellish Blizzard looked at him with the eyes of someone looking at a lowly beast, and occasionally rubbed her body slightly, not even daring to communicate directly with Byakuya.

This made Byakuya wonder. He hadn't done anything to her, had he? Or did she know about his deal with Tatsumaki?

"This is a duel, you know? Don't think it'll be a walk in the park, and yet you want to watch from outer space..."

Byakuya covered his head, speechless. "And Blast might not even agree."

"I just want to see you fail," Tatsumaki said, her tsundere nature flaring up, her face stern.

"This battle should be over very quickly. There's not much point in watching, actually," Byakuya tried to say, but Tatsumaki's stare conveyed her resolve.

"Alright, suit yourself. I'll ask Blast later," Byakuya said, unconcerned.

But when Byakuya brought the two women to City A, he was also rendered speechless by the sheer number of people there.

"You're telling me these guys are here to watch?" Byakuya gestured at the crowd that filled the street, speechless.

"No problem, I'll protect them," Blast said confidently, patting his chest.

"Ah! Everyone's here." At that moment, Saitama arrived from City Z. He was also taken aback by the massive crowd, but quickly turned to Byakuya and said, "Let's start the battle."

"Wait! Wait! Something big just happened at the Association!"

At that moment, an Association staff member still on duty rushed in, saying, "Shibabawa just died after making a prediction. She predicted a Crisis that will destroy Earth."

"What!!! Shibabawa is dead?" The scene immediately erupted in chaos.

They had all heard of Shibabawa's fame; her predictions had never been wrong.

Byakuya's face, however, was thoughtful: Could this prediction be the last episode of the first season?

With this doubt, he looked up and saw an enormous purple Space Pirate Ship hurtling towards Earth from outside the atmosphere, about to reach the surface soon.

"This is… messed up." Byakuya said speechlessly, and with a wave of his hand, a crimson bottle was grasped in his hand.

This is… that thing from the first time we met… Tatsumaki looked at the Pym Particles, deeply impressed.

If it weren't for that thing, she wouldn't have lost to Byakuya in that fight.

"I'll be using it later anyway, so using it now works too," Byakuya said calmly.

In an instant, amidst the astonishment of those around him, his body expanded inch by inch, quickly growing to a gigantic height of over ten meters.

"This state is more comfortable," Byakuya said, satisfied, as he felt the power surging through his enlarged body.

Tatsumaki, on the other hand, thought of the one-meter-eighty-tall Byakuya, and her face flushed red.

Name: Byakuya

Lifespan: 19/???

Strength: 6.1→8.0 Constitution: 6.1→8.0 Spirit: 6.1→8.0 Charm: 1.4+

The next moment, Byakuya's legs pushed off the ground slightly, and in the eyes of ordinary people, his figure vanished as if he had teleported.

"Wait, this speed?" Blast widened his eyes. Just between the giant transformation, his speed had increased more than a hundredfold.

Turning his head to look at the crowd behind him, Blast felt a sudden sense of hollowness when he remembered his promise to protect them.

I didn't really bite off more than I could chew, did I...

"I shall rule you, the natives of this planet!" In outer space, on the Space Pirate Ship, a tall Alien Lifeform roared.

But as he looked at the blue planet that was about to arrive, Byakuya's right knee slammed into the center of the base of the ship, dozens of kilometers below.

In the vast, silent universe of outer space, the Space Pirate Ship's chassis, which could withstand countless meteor showers, didn't last a moment before it split in two.

A huge, dozens-of-kilometers-long rift appeared on the ship, and then it was violently broken in two.

During the impact, the entire ship experienced an unprecedentedly huge shock and explosion in the following second.

Three seconds later, 80% of the ship's crew perished in the explosion, and by then, Byakuya had already reached the main hall.

Here, a blue-skinned alien in armor was looking at himself with excited eyes: "Are you the formidable enemy in the prophecy?"

But what greeted him was not words.

Because Byakuya's elbow had already slammed heavily into Boros's face.
