"I could set you free, you know," Magnus said suddenly, his voice smooth, almost taunting.
Indigo froze, her body stiffening. "What… what do you mean?"
"I could set you and your faction free," he said, the hint of a smile curling his lips, as if dangling a prize in front of her.
Indigo's heart thudded, anger and disbelief mixing into a bitter taste in her mouth. "I can't kill Navian. He's stronger than me. You know that."
Magnus leaned closer in the hologram, his expression shifting into one of cold calculation. "My son has always been deviant, but lately… he's worse. I want you to keep an eye on him. Tell me everything he's up to. Get close to him any way you can. Be his girlfriend if you must. Propose to him if you can. I just need to know everything."
