Chapter 11 - The family reunion

It's morning already. Time flows differently here — I can feel it.

Anyway, time to look at the system and see what skills I can buy.

Hey system, open the store please.

[System notification – Opening the store.]

Oh, this one here looks cool.

[Stormborn Breath – Instead of a standard fire breath, host exhales a hurricane of lightning, wind, and thunder.]

I'll go ahead and buy that, system.

[Sovereign of Realms – Host gains authority over the laws of nature themselves within his domain (host's domain is tens of thousands of kilometers).]

Wow, that seems a little too cheap for the power of it… but I'll go ahead and buy it, system.

[Crown of Catastrophe – When the crown ignites, a massive shockwave ripples outward — mountains fracture, forests ignite, rivers boil, and the sky darkens instantly. The heavens react violently. Thunderclouds swirl in unnatural colors, and lightning begins striking continuously across the battlefield.

The area bends under the host's authority — boulders lift into the air, oceans pull unnaturally, and weaker enemies collapse as if crushed under immense weight.

While the crown is active, every movement causes destruction.

Host's wings create continent-sized hurricanes; nearby towns are flattened just from the pressure.

Host's footsteps trigger localized earthquakes, splitting valleys and cracking fault lines.

The host's tail creates tidal surges, enough to swallow coastal cities.

Host's breath no longer melts mountains — it erases entire nations.]

Well, I'll buy that one just in case.

[System notification – Evolution required.]

Go ahead, system. Get it over with.

[System notification – Starting evolution process.]

Two days later…

Well, that took a long time to evolve. I wonder what happe—ahhhhh!

I'm massive.

[System notification – Host is now 360 ft at the shoulders, has a 1,620 ft wingspan, is 900 ft in length, and weighs 108,000 tons.]

Well, I suppose I should be used to this.

I'm going to go fly around for a bit.

Two hours later…

Those look like dragons. Now, since I can control the storm caused by me, I should disperse it.

Ten seconds later…

Okay, I'm good to go. I pulled in my aura so it doesn't cause that storm anymore.

Time to go say hi.

Huh? They look familiar.

Hello. Why are you in my territory?

"We are… what!"

"My deepest apologies for coming into your territory. We will leave."

No, stay a moment.

Did you happen to have a baby and throw him off a cliff because you were dissatisfied with him?

"Yes. Oh… you're that baby."

"I guess I was sorely mistaken."

"And that is how we teach our kids to fly. We yeet them off cliffs."

"Either way, you're still my little cliff-diver."

Funny. Now that we've gotten all the jokes out of the way, stay a little while.

"Yeah, we can catch up as a family."

…I don't know if we can catch up as a family, but we can definitely catch up.

Come on, let's go. I'm tired of holding in my aura.

To be continued…
