"That got a lot of them," Aevum says. He coughs up a bit of blood. He walks out to the dead bodies of soldiers. He sticks his hand out above them. As soon as he does, the dead bodies of the soldiers start to shake. The soldiers all start turning purely into blood, starting at the top of their heads and slowly turning their whole bodies. The blood circles Aevum before he completely absorbs it all. All his wounds have fully healed. "That solves the problem of my wounds."
As soon as he finishes, someone fires a magic spell at Aevum. He quickly puts up a barrier that blocks the spell. As soon as he does, someone rushes at Dai'chi with a long sword. The swing down on him. Dai'chi quickly pulls out his katana and blocks the attack. "Both sides are now equal in terms of troops thanks to those magic spells, so we decided to come take out the two who cast them," The person with the long sword says. Dai'chi takes a step forward and swings at the long sword wielder. The person blocks the attack. They spin around and use the moment to attack Dai'chi. Dai'chi easily dodges the attack and punches the person backwards.
The mage launches another barrage of spells at Aevum. Aevum blocks all the spells with a barrier. "Is that all you got?" Aevum says mockingly. The mage casts more spells, but this time Aevum blocks them all with fireballs. Aevum grins.
"I guess even after using all that mana, you still have plenty to spare. This is why I don't like fighting the freaks that have top bounties. At least the guy over there isn't someone with a high bounty," the mage says. He sends a few earth spikes towards Aevum. They are blocked by barrier spells.
"If you think just one top bounty is a problem, then you should be glad Satoshi isn't here. He would have taken out your friend over there in seconds. Though it might end up being over quickly anyway. αλυσίδες του χρόνου," Aevum says. Green chains wrap around one of the mage's feet. He becomes completely unable to move the leg that the chains wrap around. He cuts the chains immediately, but the brief period of immobilization was enough. Three giant spears thrust into the torso of the mage. Aevum tells the mage that it's over and starts walking towards the rest of the army. The mage grins, "You shouldn't let your guard down," The mage says. The body of the mage disappears as he suddenly appears right next to Aevum. He charges forward with a sword made of flames.
"I didn't," Aevum says. He pulls out his trident from a portal and thrusts it behind himself, stabbing the head of the mage. He pulls it out and throws it to the right. It flies into an invisible object, which turns out to be the real body of the mage. "You're the one who let their guard down."
The swordsman charges at Dai'chi, and their swords clash. The swordsman jumps away from Dai'chi. "I'd rather kill you quickly so I can go help take out your mage friend over there. He is pretty well known, so I'm sorry this fight has to end so quickly." He slides his foot backwards as he lowers his stance. He holds his longsword close to his side, "God blade style, Universe-splitting slash." Dai'chi dashes forward and ducks close to the ground. He sheaths his main katana and pulls out a generic-looking one. He swings at the swordsman. The swordsman holds his blade in front of himself, blocking the attack. His arms shatter when he blocks the attack. The swordsman jumps back.
Dai'chi drops the katana as it shatters. "Too bad for you, I happen to know the creator of that sword style. While it is powerful, it has a lot of downsides, such as the recoil from the Universe-splitting slash. The original creator doesn't even use it anymore because of how bad the downsides are. You should know that the move you used is easy to counter at close range, even if it does break your opponent's weapon." Dai'chi unsheathes his white and yellow katana. He charges at the swordsman. The swordsman tries to block, but his arms are completely unable to move. "This battle ended quickly, just like you wanted it to." Dai'chi beheads the swordsman. Dai'chi, head over to Aevum.
"So, how are we going to deal with the rest of these soldiers? Even with two of the stronger ones dead, it won't be easy," Dai'chi says, looking at the massive army. Aevum's army and the enemies are clashing. "They are your troops, so I'm assuming it would be beneficial to you for them not to die."
"Yeah, it would be," Aevum says. He walks towards a large number of dead troops from him and Dai'chi's earlier spells. He absorbs the soldiers and then releases a large amount of energy into a ball. He shoots the balls into the main clump of enemy soldiers. It creates a large explosion, killing more than half of the remaining soldiers. Blood drips from Aevum's mouth. "Those two spells always take quite a toll on me," Aevum says.
From the top of the mostly repaired Crusaders' castle, Jesse is looking down at them. "He used dark absorption to absorb the energy from the dead soldiers and turn it into lifeforce. Then he used sacrificial black to turn that lifeforce into a powerful spell. Not a bad combo, but overall it isn't worth using to fight."
Aevum's troops finish off the rest of the enemy's forces. "That should be the end of the fighting here. I'm going to find and finish off their leader. Thanks for helping me out," Aevum says. He waves to Dai'chi.
"No problem, they destroyed my room, so that was plenty of reasons to kill them. Hopefully, they finished off that damn demon plushie. That thing has to be possessed, there is no other way," Dai'chi says, slowly going insane. He waves to Aevum as he teleports away. Dai'chi walks into the almost fully repaired base. He heads up to his room. "I swear if that DAMN plushie is there," he says. He walks into his room and sees the green paladin plushie.
