Ha Yunseo opened his eyes, his body jolting as he awoke. His brows knitted as he saw strangers surrounding him, all of them looked like foreigners, and they were shouting things he could not understand.
"B-Bwo—ARGH!"
He curled his body, cold sweat starting to form on his back, feeling as if his head had been shot with something.
"Young master!"
He grunted in pain, the headache worsening as a lot of images were thrust into his brain.
His vision darkened.
He fainted.
A few hours later.
Ha Yunseo continued to lie on the big soft bed, not daring to move as he listened to the footsteps echo in his room.
When he heard his door close as the person examining him was gone, he let out a little sigh of relief.
Luckily, he knew how to fake his sleep, as he would often do so when his dad would check upon them at night to see if they were asleep.
His focus went to another important thing.
He's definitely screwed.
He was actually... transported to another world? And a magical world at that...
Fear gripped him.
Did he die? He remembered crossing the street, then a speeding car was about to hit him... He remembered Ha Nari, his sister, yelling at him as she ran to him.
No.
He refused to accept it. He must be in a dream world. Or maybe it was all in his head. Perhaps he's in a coma right now, and his head is messing with him.
Yet as he began to scan the memories in his mind, he felt more and more confused.
Because this world... strangely resembles the book his sister was writing, which he had been forced to listen to and evaluate.
Transmigration?
Did he really die?
He shook his head. No. He was not dead yet. He'll find a way to go back to his own world. His sister and dad must be worried sick.
Also, he has yet to give his gift to his sister. And both of them were supposed to celebrate their birthday on saturday. He was also particularly looking forward to his sister's gift.
She promised him she would gift him something memorable and something he would definitely like. Ha Yunseo liked a lot of things, but knowing Nari, she probably got him something precious just as she had promised.
Their dad also decided that they would put aside their mother's death anniversary. They wouldn't have to pretend to be sad and mourn with their father.
He was only turning 10.
Then here he was, inhabiting a 13-year-old man.
Ha Yunseo doesn't know whether to be happy or not. After all, he did want to grow older. His dad told him he would be the man of the house once he turned into an adult. 13 was not an adult. But 13 means he's a teenager.
And being a teenager means he's near to being an adult.
But does it matter now? The house he was supposed to man is not in this world.
And this is too sudden, isn't it?
Suddenly, he heard a mechanical sound. He closed his eyes as he felt another pain shot through his head. It was different from the one he felt earlier. This was more... like comfortable.
It was painful, sure, but the more he got used to it, the clearer the words appeared inside his brain. He frowned, but didn't open his eyes as he read a familiar line.
[Welcome to the world of Nyssor, traveler]
Ha Yunseo opened his eyes, his gaze landing on the ceiling. The words still haven't disappeared.
He blinked.
It's still there. Hesitantly, he tried to speak in his mind.
'How am I here? What are you? Can I go home? Am I in a dream?'
He asked fast. His thoughts were a little bit disoriented. He doesn't know whether to be afraid of the new place and the fact that he might be dead, to be excited at the fact that magic existed here, or be sad that he might never see his family again.
He felt overwhelmed.
The words blurred and formed another set of words.

Ha Yunseo held his breath.
[Information Updated!]
His head ached a little again before a list appeared before his eyes.
[(Basic Information)
Name: Lucien Ardent Elowen | Ha Yunseo
Age: 15 | 10
Title: The Heir of Elowen House | Traveler
Skill/s: (Yet to be unlocked)]
After his eyes landed on the last line, the words vanished and were replaced.
[The traveler is advised to attend the Annual Bearing Ceremony held on the 15th day of Emberrise]
A few seconds after his eyes fell on the last word, the words vanished, and no more followed.
Ha Yunseo felt his head spinning.
He wanted answers, but it was clear that the unknown entity wasn't keen on letting him know more.
'Alright.' He thought, knowing now for sure that he was in the book his sister wrote.
Emberrise? That word can only be thought by his extremely creative genius of a sister.
"Nyssor? Where in the hell did you even get that word?"
He remembered asking once as he read the notebook where his sister had written her ideas, the line exactly matching the words that appeared before him earlier. Nari only rolled her eyes at him.
"To a place where you can't even stick your nosy ass in."
He sighed.
'Since this is a world that my sister created, I would experience it first, then tell her my tales once I was back.'
He nodded to himself, feeling like his plan was good, ignoring the fact that he might not even be able to return, nor even if he did, his body might've decomposed.
No.
His 10-year-old brain has set itself to the new adventure waiting for him.
He felt another slight pain in his head and eagerly awaited as words started to appear again.
[The traveler is advised to fully absorb Lucien Ardent Elowen's memories]
Ha Yunseo sighed, feeling the name a bit too foreign to his liking. He would tell Nari to make her characters' names' into Korean once he went back.
'Alright.' He told himself with resolve, his now hazel eyes shining with a little excitement. 'In this world, I am Lucien Ardent Elowen.'
His lip twitched.
Nari should really stop using foreign names.
