Chapter 2234 - Ch: 58-66 (endish)

Chapter 58: A Parallel Universe Where Everyone is Gender-Swapped!

Even at the moment of Death, the Blood God couldn't figure it out.

Why Leon's simple, unadorned punch had killed him instantly.

And it wasn't even a direct hit.

He had completely struck the air.

Yet, across the distance of an entire dimension, he had been hammered to Death.

His true body was in Hell.

The one in the real World was just a projection.

Could even that die?

The answer was: yes, it really could.

Regardless of whether it was the mortal World or Hell, regardless of dimensional barriers.

One punch down, and you had to die.

Reality Warping + 'I Fink So' Power, kid!

With the Death of the Blood God, the magic circle collapsed immediately.

The lines of the circle, originally outlined in blood, lost their glow and became ordinary.

Watching all this, the leader of the Vampires was completely dumbfounded.

Wait, what just happened?

Where is my god?

How could my huge god just disappear?

After the initial shock, he quickly grasped the truth.

The look he then gave Leon was more terrified than if he'd seen a ghost.

Absurd as it was, a fact was a fact.

The great god their Vampire race had worshipped and prostrated before for thousands of years...

Was hammered to Death by a single punch from a person who had appeared out of nowhere.

Thinking of this, the leader of the Vampires actually laughed.

He laughed out of sheer frustration.

Things shouldn't be this ridiculous.

After the laughter came total despair.

With thousands of years of faith collapsing in an instant, the consequence was that the Vampire leader went completely insane.

He screamed, "An illusion! This is all an illusion!"

Then he charged at Leon.

The outcome was, naturally, getting exactly what he asked for.

He was shattered into basic molecules by one of Leon's punches.

The kind that couldn't be put back together even if you tried.

And so, the crisis of the Blood God's descent came to an end.

...

With the fall of the Blood God and the Death of the Vampire leader...

The remaining Vampires could no longer stir up any trouble.

Under the Carnage wrought by Gwen and Blade, they soon vanished completely.

After it was over, Blade looked at Leon gratefully: "Thank you for stepping in, otherwise something terrible would have happened today."

Leon didn't have much of an opinion on Blade.

Of course, he didn't have any ill will either.

He simply treated him like an ordinary person.

He nodded as a response.

Then he looked at Gwen.

"What do you say? Coming with me, or shall we set a time for later?"

Gwen calmed her breathing, then proactively came to Leon's side.

"Let's go. Next is reward time."

Then Leon opened a portal and disappeared.

Watching this, Blade felt inexplicably like a dog on the side of the road.

He shook his head and stopped thinking about it, soon leaving the slaughterhouse as well.

This place would just have to wait for S.H.I.E.L.D. to come and clean up the mess.

The next morning.

When Leon woke up, Gwen had already left.

Leon didn't mind.

After washing up, he opened a portal.

It was time to start a new adventure in another World.

...

When he reappeared, Leon had arrived in another World.

"Let me see the situation in this World."

"Good, I see Captain America."

"Wait, why is the Captain America of this World a woman?"

It wasn't just Captain America.

All the other superheroes were women too.

Captain America was no longer a tough American guy, but had become a blonde woman.

Iron Man was no longer a playboy, but had become the cold and elegant 'Toni Stark'.

Thor Odinson was no longer the Prince of Asgard.

But the Princess of Asgard.

At this point, Leon already knew what kind of World he had come to.

A special Marvel parallel Universe.

A Universe where all the superheroes were female.

And as it happened, his arrival coincided with the events of Avengers 1, the Chitauri invasion of Earth.

Watching the many female superheroes battle the Chitauriarmy...

Leon thought for a moment and decided to go up and help.

And get to know them while he was at it.

...

"These damn bastards, why are they so hard to kill?"

With great effort, she smashed a Chitauri's skull.

The female Captain America held her waist, panting as she spoke.

Her backstory was similar to the Captain Americas of other parallel Universes.

She was a World War II veteran who had been injected with the Super Soldier Serum.

Therefore, like other Captain Americas, her abilities were simple and unadorned.

Looking at the powerful beings in the sky fighting the Chitauri...

Steve Rogers sighed.

Picking up her shield, she prepared to go to another area to clear out the minions.

Just then, the voice of Iron Man, Toni Stark, came through the earpiece.

"Watch out, Captain, a big guy is heading your way."

"Thanks for the heads-up, Toni, I think I see it already."

Looking at the massive Chitauri warship charging straight at her...

Steve Rogers cut the audio and began running like crazy.

Almost instantly, the Chitauri warship opened fire.

Countless energy bolts landed behind her, a series of explosions practically chasing her.

Ultimately, she couldn't outrun the speed of the energy bolts and was violently thrown off her feet by the Impact.

She rolled several times upon landing before slamming into the wreckage of a nearby building.

Even worse, an exposed piece of rebar struck her hard in the side.

The pain made her facial features twist together.

For a moment, she couldn't even manage to crawl back up.

And fatally, the Chitauri's main cannon had already locked onto her and begun charging.

Perhaps in the next second, she would be blasted into pieces.

Just as Steve Rogers prepared to grit her teeth and brace her Vibranium shield in front of her...

A figure appeared before her.

It was Leon.

"Ma'am, it looks like you need a little help."

"Of course, if you're willing."

Steve Rogers didn't know who Leon was.

But at a time like this, who cared who he was?

As long as he wasn't an enemy, it was fine.

Besides, Leon was floating in the air; he clearly wasn't an ordinary person.

So, Steve Rogers didn't tell him to run away.

Right then, the Chitauri's main cannon finished charging and fired directly at Leon.

A dazzling pillar of light blasted straight toward Leon.

Then, with a single thought from Leon, the pillar of light—in a way that defied the laws of physics—

Turned one hundred and eighty degrees, swerving back to blast the Chitauri warship.

Accompanied by a roar and wails, the Chitauri Leviathanwarship was pierced through by its own main cannon.

It plummeted from the sky with a crash.

This scene made Steve Rogers unable to help but gape.

She might not be a genius, but she knew the basic laws of physics.

And the ability Leon displayed didn't look like it complied with physics at all.

If Newton saw this, he'd have to crawl out of his coffin to argue with Leon.

But this was the 'I Fink So' Power.

Never mind if it's logical or not, isn't it enough that it works?

Pinning down physics and ruthlessly ravaging it—that is 'I Fink So'!

"Let's talk later; first, we need to handle this alien invasion."

"My thoughts exactly. When there's time after the battle, how about a drink?"

Steve Rogers had recovered by now and climbed up from the ground.

Holding her iconic shield, she extended an invitation to Leon.

"I would be delighted!"

Chapter 59: Toni Stark

It was much like the Chitauri invasions in other Universes.

As the superheroes began to exert their power, the Chitauri's offensive was gradually contained.

With She-Hulk pummeling Lady Loki and the closing of the wormhole opened by the Tesseract,

the Chitauri invasion was finally suppressed.

And at this moment, the classic Nuclear Missile arrived.

But this time, Toni Stark wasn't given the chance to fly through the wormhole with the nuke.

Leon directly intercepted the Nuclear Missile ahead of time.

Then, carrying the nuke, he charged toward the closing wormhole.

Passing through the wormhole, he arrived in the starry expanse of the Universe.

The surrounding star sectors were already crowded with Chitauri warships.

In the distance, a massive mothership was even facing this direction.

On the top level of the mothership, a tall, purple-skinned woman stood facing Leon from across the void.

That was Thanos.

A female Thanos of this Universe.

After a single glance, Leon withdrew his gaze.

In his eyes now, Thanos could only be considered a minor character who couldn't even take the stage.

Throwing the nuke directly at them, Leon turned and flew back through the closing wormhole.

He left the nuke to explode amidst the Chitauri fleet.

He himself returned to New York.

With this, the Chitauri invasion of this parallel World was completely resolved.

...

Avengers Headquarters.

Under the introduction of Steve Rogers, Leon arrived here.

At this moment, the full roster of the Avengers had assembled.

They were holding a post-war celebration.

The participating members were the various members of the Avengers.

However, they were all female versions.

The Female Iron Man, Toni Stark, and the Female Captain America, Steve Rogers.

The female Thor Odinson, the She-Hulk Dr. Banner, and the Female Hawkeye.

Plus Black Widow, who was already female.

It could be called an All-female Army.

Therefore, everyone paid close attention to Leon, whom Captain Steve had brought along.

Furthermore, Leon's performance in the previous battle against the Chitauri invasion was also very striking.

Even when holding back, his strength far exceeded that of an average superhero.

It would be strange if he didn't attract attention.

"This is Leon, a traveler from another Universe."

Under Steve's introduction, Leon also got to know the other superheroes.

At this time, the Female Thor came over to Leon with a beer.

Putting an arm around Leon's shoulder, she said, "Buddy, I saw your performance just now."

"Beautifully fought. If there's a chance, I'll take you to Asgard as a guest to let you taste what real divine wine is like."

Even though it was a gender-swapped version,

her personality was much the same as in other Universes.

They were all alcoholics.

The same went for the other superheroes.

She-Hulk was still relatively shy.

The female Toni Stark was still showy and cocky.

Because they had fought side-by-side earlier,

and because they acknowledged Leon's strength,

the atmosphere was quite good.

Leon also took the opportunity to enjoy a free meal and drinks.

Before long, he became well-acquainted with the other superheroes.

Upon learning that Leon didn't have a place to stay in this World yet,

Toni Stark made a grand gesture and directly gave Leon a Villa.

It made Leon feel a bit of regret for killing Tony Stark in the main World.

At least he should have squeezed some benefits out of him before killing him.

In the following days,

the members of the Avengers left one after another.

Thor took Loki back to Asgard.

Black Widow and Hawkeye returned to S.H.I.E.L.D.

The Captain and Dr. Banner also returned to the Avengers.

Only Toni Stark remained, taking Leon out to have fun.

Speaking of which, it was quite surreal.

In the main World, Leon had killed Tony Stark,

which directly led to the fact that Iron Man could never be born.

But in this World, he had become friends with Toni Stark.

This is the benefit of parallel Universes.

...

"Can you tell me what the other parallel Universes look like?"

Inside the Villa, Toni, wearing a form-fitting long dress, asked Leon.

The Toni of this World was a beautiful blonde woman.

Tall with exquisite features, a slight smile always hung at the corners of her mouth.

She was quite good-looking.

Leon replied casually, "Actually, they're much the same, though some Worlds are a bit worse."

"For example?"

"For example, I once visited a Universe where everyone was infected by a zombie virus."

"It became a Zombie Universe."

"That sounds quite interesting. Did the 'me' of that Worldturn into a zombie too?"

Leon paused for a moment and then nodded. "Yes, and someone shot you in the head."

Toni couldn't quite keep her composure.

How could she be treated like some stray dog on the street?

She immediately changed the subject.

"What are the 'me's of other parallel Worlds like?"

This was the question she truly cared about.

With her strong competitive nature, even when comparing herself to other versions of herself, she had to see who was superior.

Leon said with a strange expression, "There's good and bad."

"In some Worlds, you're a villain, becoming an iron tyrant."

"In some Worlds, you're a hero, sacrificing yourself to save the World."

"Of course, in the vast majority of Worlds, you're quite comical."

"Being overconfident and then getting slapped down—that's your daily routine."

Leon wasn't lying; it was the truth.

Iron Man was most famous for her Iron Man Suit.

At the same time, to deal with different opponents, she had built many specialized armors.

For example, the famous Hulkbuster, Marvel-Buster, and Phoenix-Buster.

But she was the type where whatever she 'busted', she got busted by instead.

The Hulkbuster was torn to pieces by Hulk.

The Marvel-Buster was turned into space junk by Captain Marvel.

The Phoenix-Buster was decomposed into molecules by Phoenix.

A proper comedic character.

After hearing all this, Toni couldn't laugh anymore.

She gave Leon a speechless look and complained, "You really don't know how to talk. Can't you say something nice?"

Then she shook her head. "Forget it, let's go out and play. Can you drive?"

"Of course, I'm an old pro."

"Good, then let's go racing. I hope your driving skills are as good as your conversation skills."

Besides being a genius scientist,

Toni was also a loyal enthusiast of car racing.

She met her bodyguard, Happy, because she had a car accident while racing,

and Happy saved her.

Furthermore, in Iron Man 2, she was attacked by Whiplashat a Race Track.

From this, one could see just how much she loved racing.

But unfortunately, the opponent she met today was Leon.

Following Toni to the Race Track and getting into the racing car she prepared for him,

Leon used his god-like driving skills to leave Toni so far behind she could barely see his taillights.

Afterward, Toni came to Leon's side, looking dejected.

"How exactly did you do it? Jarvis told me that even if it controlled the car, it wouldn't be as good as you."

"It's simple, as long as your reactions are fast enough."

Leon's reaction speed had reached an unimaginable level.

In his eyes, time had almost lost its meaning.

To him, one second was no different from an infinite amount of time.

Under these circumstances, it would be strange if Toni could beat him.

Chapter 60: Thunder God Thor Descends

She hadn't gained any advantage in their verbal sparring.

In her most confident field of racing, she had been ruthlessly crushed by Leon again.

Toni was almost getting depressed.

But considering the racing proposal was her own idea...

Toni ultimately said nothing.

But she still wanted to get even.

So she proposed another competition with Leon to see who was faster.

She would wear her Iron Man Suit to compete against Leon.

Leon shook his head.

This kind of competition was meaningless to him.

Because it was impossible for him to lose.

With a single thought, he could reach the end of this parallel Universe and touch its Crystal Wall.

In Leon's eyes, the speed of light was no different from a snail's crawl.

Could your Iron Man Suit even fly at the speed of light?

After thinking for a moment, Leon said to Toni, "Have you ever tried flying without an Iron Man Suit?"

Hearing this, Toni was momentarily stunned.

Then, a look of clear interest appeared in her eyes.

Although flying in an Iron Man Suit was exhilarating...

Wouldn't it be even better to experience it personally?

Seeing this, Leon struck while the iron was hot and said to Toni, "Come on, I'll take you for a flight."

Toni hesitated for a moment but eventually came to Leon's side.

She then reached out to wrap her arms around Leon's neck, while Leon put his arm around her waist.

Then, the two of them soared into the sky.

Leaving behind only the sound of a sonic boom and Toni's excited cries.

Not far away, watching this scene, Happy sighed.

He knew that Miss Toni had already fallen.

But it wasn't surprising.

What woman could refuse a Superman who takes her flying?

...

Kunlun.

Leon brought Toni here.

Then they landed on the peak of a snow-capped mountain.

After landing, Toni's legs were still a bit weak.

The speed was too fast.

At least Mach 10 to start with.

And that was only because Leon had slowed down significantly.

But even so, it was thrilling enough for Toni.

Especially the feeling of the wind wrapping around her whole body during the flight.

That was an experience she could never have while wearing an Iron Man Suit.

It was unclear whether her blushing was due to the excitement or some other reason.

In any case, Toni's fair face was slightly flushed.

She let go of Leon's neck.

She then walked to the edge of the cliff, looking out at the endless mountains and the sea of clouds before her.

For a moment, Toni was actually mesmerized by the scenery.

After watching for a while, she turned back to look at Leon.

Then, she proactively stepped forward, wrapped her arms around Leon's neck, and tilted her face up.

After they kissed.

Toni finally spoke, "Thank you, I'm very Happy today."

"You're welcome. If you like it, I can take you to experience more in the future."

Toni gave a charming smile, "Why not right now?"

Leon no longer hesitated.

Since she had taken the initiative, it would be impolite for him to refuse.

After all, he was a polite person.

...

They had a round in Kunlun.

Afterward, he took Toni for a few more laps around the Earth.

Once they had their fill of fun, he brought Toni back to the Villa.

Upon landing, Toni's legs were weak for a moment.

She shot Leon a glare before supporting herself against the wall and heading into the bathroom.

Leon didn't mind, watching Toni's retreating figure.

He gave a heartfelt praise: truly satisfying.

...

After saying goodbye to Toni...

Leon quickly opened a portal and returned to his main World.

As soon as he landed, Wanda appeared before him.

Before Leon could speak, Wanda's expression changed.

She stepped closer and sniffed the scent on Leon.

Then she said, "Who is it this time? This isn't Gwen's scent."

Facing Wanda's interrogation, Leon felt a bit guilty for a moment.

If Wanda found out he had slept with Toni...

She would probably turn dark immediately.

He mumbled a few excuses.

Then he returned to his room.

Seeing this, Wanda's face gradually darkened.

I can't wait any longer, Wanda told herself in her heart.

Previously, Wanda didn't care about Leon's carousing outside.

She knew that Leon couldn't possibly truly care about those one-night flings.

As for Gwen, she cared but there was nothing she could do.

Because she was the latecomer.

But that was it; there couldn't be any more.

At the very least, she couldn't fall further behind.

She then looked at her palm, where crimson energy emerged.

This was her Chaos Magic.

Through her diligent development, her Chaos Magic had become much stronger.

With a few more transformations, she wouldn't be far from her goal of beating Leon into submission.

Poor Wanda didn't realize...

That the Leon of today was already far beyond what he used to be.

...

"Do you have time?"

"No, hanging up!"

Hearing the dial tone, Natasha gritted her teeth in anger.

Scumbag, just because we haven't been in touch for a while, how could he turn his back so quickly?

It was only because the situation was urgent; otherwise, she would have stormed to his door to have it out with him.

Suppressing her anger, she dialed Leon's number again.

This time, Natasha said directly, "One condition: as long as it doesn't violate my principles, I'll agree to anything."

"Help me with something."

Leon didn't hang up this time, but he remained silent for a moment.

Then he said, "Go ahead, what's the favor?"

Natasha then explained the details.

Simply put, a hammer had fallen in New Mexico.

Along with the hammer came a guy claiming to be the "God of Thunder."

They originally thought he was a lunatic.

But after testing, they found it was true.

This was a huge problem.

Facing a god, especially one backed by an entire divine realm...

Even Nick Fury was at a loss.

He didn't know what to do.

Finally, he thought of Leon.

He planned to have Leon make contact with this "God of Thunder."

While showing friendliness, it was also an opportunity to flex some muscle.

This was to let Asgard, behind Thor Odinson, know that Earth is not the Earth of the past and is no longer a place Asgard can rule at will.

For this reason, even though Natasha was furious, she still suppressed her anger to negotiate with Leon.

Because this task truly could only be done by Leon.

As soon as Leon heard it, he knew that Thor Odinson had arrived.

After thinking about it, Leon accepted the task.

Natasha's condition was secondary.

Most importantly, he was quite curious about Asgard.

Moreover, Thor Odinson's personality was quite to Leon's liking.

Perhaps he could gain another drinking buddy.

In that case, let's go!

He opened a portal directly to New Mexico.

Soon after, he saw Thor Odinson.

At this moment, Thor Odinson was drinking heavily in a tavern with several humans.

Among them was a quite beautiful woman who caught Leon's eye for a few extra moments.

If nothing was amiss, this woman should be Jane, the future Lady Thor.

Stepping forward, Leon quickly attracted the attention of the group.

In front of Thor Odinson, Leon picked up a glass of beer from their table and downed it in one go.

Then he said, "Welcome to Earth, Thunder God Thor."

"Let's be friends."

Thor Odinson was stunned for a moment, then reacted.

He burst into hearty laughter.

"No problem, friend! Come, come, have a few more bottles."

Thor didn't care why Leon had come.

If they could drink together, they were friends.

That's right, Thor was just that simple-minded.

Chapter 61: Return to Gotham City

Having a drink together.

And just like that, he became friends with Thor Odinson.

During their casual chat, Thor also spoke to Leon about his own affairs.

After they finished, Thor sighed to Leon, "I'm thinking now, how can I make Mjolnir recognize me again?"

Because Thor was too mischievous, Odin had stripped him of his divine power.

Even his hammer was cast down along with him.

Odin had even placed a seal on it; until he reformed himself, Thor couldn't even pick up Mjolnir.

This left Thor feeling very hurt.

From childhood to now, he had never been separated from his hammer for this long.

After listening, Leon's eyes darted around as he comforted him, "Are you in a hurry to return to Asgard?"

Hearing this, Thor looked at Leon thoughtfully.

Leon continued, "If you're not in a hurry to return to Asgard, then just leave the hammer where it is."

"Instead of worrying about that, why not think about how to have some fun on Earth?"

"And didn't you say your father, Odin, has fallen into a deep sleep?"

"That means He won't know whatever you do right now. What a great opportunity!"

Thunder God Thor's spirits were immediately lifted upon hearing this.

Right, why am I in such a hurry?

He wasn't in a rush to fight anyone, nor was he in a rush to return to Asgard.

Under these circumstances, so what if he didn't have Mjolnir?

Besides, he was Odin's son after all.

Would Odin really disown him forever?

Even Thor didn't believe that.

In that case, why not take advantage of Odin's slumber to have some real fun?

It was a rare opportunity.

Having understood the key to the problem, he immediately slapped Leon on the shoulder, "Good brother, thanks for reminding me!"

"You're right, it wasn't easy to get out here, I can't waste the chance!"

"Come, come, let's keep drinking. I have to say, the alcohol here tastes pretty good!"

And so, without Odin's knowledge, Thunder God Thorbegan to degenerate into a shut-in ahead of schedule.

...

A new week soon arrived.

Leon's villain template refreshed accordingly.

However, looking at the "Gin" character template...

Leon curled his lip in disappointment.

He was already so strong, and they gave him Gin?

Were they planning for him to open a winery?

Forget it, it was free anyway, nothing to be dissatisfied about.

Leon quickly adjusted his mindset, then opened a Dimensional Gate and headed directly to another World.

After landing, it was the same old familiar place: Gotham.

Looking at the familiar overcast sky and the smell of gunpowder.

Leon silently gave a thumbs up in his heart; this was the right flavor.

Meanwhile, with Leon's arrival...

Many big shots in this Universe cast their gazes toward him.

Then, one by one, they retracted their gazes.

They didn't dare interfere.

Before, one could say Leon wasn't that strong.

But now, even in the DC Universe, he was at the level of a big shot.

No one would easily dare to provoke him.

Someone like the New God Darkseid even directly cancelled his plans to invade Earth.

At this time, Darkseid had not yet obtained the anti-life equation, so he naturally had no certainty in dealing with a being of Leon's level.

He could only pretend he hadn't seen anything.

However, things that the true big shots of the Universedidn't dare to do...

The small-time thugs of Gotham dared to do.

Returning to Gotham, Leon quickly received Gotham's unique welcoming ceremony.

That is, being mugged.

Looking at the empty muzzle pointed at him.

Leon sighed again in his heart; it was just too perfect.

This is the Gotham I know!

This time, Batman didn't show up to save the day.

So Leon took action and hung all these Gotham thugs on the streetlights.

Since Gotham had performed its welcoming ceremony for Leon...

Next, Leon had to respond to Gotham as well!

Still Arkham Asylum, still the familiar place.

Harley Quinn was inside, Leon was outside.

Looking at Leon, Harley Quinn's eyes were filled with resentment.

Scumbag, ran off right after finishing, not caring about her at all.

Because of him, she hadn't been free for long before being caught again by Batman.

You still have the nerve to show up?

Facing Harley Quinn's resentful gaze, Leon shrugged.

Then he said, "Care to make another deal?"

Harley Quinn originally wanted to refuse.

She didn't want to be caught by Batman again after being put through the wringer.

But soon, Harley Quinn thought of something.

If she remembered correctly, it seemed the Joker had broken out of prison a few days ago.

As Batman's arch-nemesis, Batman's attention during this time would surely be focused on the Joker.

He definitely wouldn't have time to worry about her.

In that case, wouldn't I have a chance?

Of course, the premise of everything was that she could get out.

And wasn't the way out right in front of her?

Under Leon's gaze, Harley Quinn smilingly agreed to the deal.

...

After the 'exercise', Harley Quinn gave Leon the middle finger.

Then she walked away, leaning against the wall.

Only Leon remained standing on the roof of the skyscraper, overlooking the city beneath his feet.

Soon, he noticed a story unfolding not far away.

Following the principle of being on the front lines to watch the drama, Leon quickly headed to the scene.

Then he saw Batman beating the Joker.

The two sides were engaged in a fierce hand-to-hand fight.

And between the two of them, there was a third party.

A person with one side of his face charred and the other side intact.

Two-Face!

Leon understood, remembering what plot this was.

This was the final battle between Batman and the Joker in "The Dark Knight."

And the Joker had also created Two-Face through previous events.

In the movie, this segment was indeed exciting.

But now, in Leon's eyes...

This part seemed a bit like amateur hour.

It wasn't surprising; with his current strength, who wouldn't look like an amateur?

A bit weak is still weak, but at least it's authentic, isn't it?

Thinking this, Leon simply lay horizontally in the air, found a comfortable position, and started watching.

As Batman and the Joker continued their brawl, finally, this great battle reached its conclusion.

One could only say, the Boss is still the Boss.

Under Batman's iron fists, both the Joker and Two-Facelost their fighting capability.

Batman's ability to become Gotham's number one "villain" always relied on his own combat prowess.

After finishing, Batman finally looked up at Leon.

"You broke our appointment, friend."

Batman said to Leon.

His tone carried a faint hint of resentment.

You've been watching for so long, and you didn't think to help out.

Do you know how tired I am from fighting?

"Sorry, I had some things to take care of back home. It's actually not too late to make it up now."

Leon ignored Batman's resentment.

He said with a smile.

Previously, he had returned to the main World, which resulted in him standing Batman up.

The meal they agreed upon never happened.

It made Batman think for a time that he had been played.

In fact, he indeed had been played.

If Leon were an ordinary person, or an ordinary supervillain...

Batman would have treated him like the Joker and the others—give him a beating first and talk later.

But Leon was too strong; Batman didn't dare to bare his teeth.

Chapter 62: Catwoman Selina

Batman is known as invincible in a fight.

But the premise is that he must know detailed intelligence about his opponent.

Only by knowing the opponent's information can he prepare specifically.

Otherwise, relying on Batman's mortal body, who could he beat?

The premise of fighting Superman is that he knows Superman's weaknesses.

Kryptonite and kindness.

Only then can he scheme against and defeat Superman.

But he really has no way to deal with Leon.

First, he doesn't know what Leon's power limit is.

Without specific intelligence, he can't even make preparations.

Secondly, he knows Leon is not a kind person.

If he fights him, he might really be killed by Leon in advance.

Leon is not like Superman who would indulge him; if there's a chance, he would definitely kill immediately.

He wouldn't give Batman a chance at all.

Therefore, although Batman has resentment towards Leon, he won't express it.

And after all, Leon is just a jerk, but not evil.

He might not be a good person, but he is definitely not a villain.

He hasn't slaughtered without reason, nor has he used his superpowers to do whatever he wants.

At most, he just lives a little too freely.

Batman has no reason to be enemies with Leon either.

Befriending him is the right thing to do.

Wayne Manor.

Leon arrived as promised.

At this time, Batman Bruce Wayne was already dressed up, waiting for Leon to be seated.

In addition, the master's butler, Alfred, was standing on the side, ready to serve at any time.

Although Leon didn't like this old aristocratic style, for Batman's sake, he didn't make trouble.

After sitting down in front of Bruce, the dinner officially began.

Batman started the topic by asking about Leon's dimensional travel.

On one hand, he wanted to take the opportunity to extract intelligence.

On the other hand, he was genuinely curious.

What exactly does a parallel World look like, and in the countless multiverses, how many strange landscapes are there?

Leon also gave a brief explanation.

For example, the World where Invincible Mark is, and the Viltrumite Empire there.

After hearing this, Batman was calm on the surface, but inside, he was already churning with waves.

Because he thought of an existence similar to the Viltrumite, Superman!

Superman might be righteous, just like Invincible Mark.

But what about the Kryptonian behind Superman?

Is the civilization he belongs to necessarily righteous?

Could it be like the Viltrumite Empire, actually an evil force in the Universe?

Could one day, the Kryptonian also invade Earth like the Viltrumite?

Then Leon talked about the Zombie Universe.

After listening, Batman was also silent.

He could already imagine how desperate that Universewas.

Concept-level zombie virus, even powerful superheroes cannot be immune.

As long as you are bitten, you will become a zombie.

What kind of conceptual god?

He even began to feel lucky that his Universe did not have this virus.

Otherwise, it would really be over.

This World does not have the power of Infinity Stones that can reverse everything.

If it gets to the point of the Zombie Universe, then there is only destruction and restart.

Leon talked a lot with Batman.

Most of it was Leon sharing, and Batman listening.

And after listening, Batman also had more understanding of Leon as a person.

He confirmed his view of Leon even more.

This is not a good person, but he is definitely not a bad person either.

He is just a jerk.

Although a jerk, he is not an enemy, and sometimes can even become a friend.

One just needs to be patient, though occasionally get rendered speechless by Leon.

Just when Batman wanted to learn more, suddenly, Leonstopped talking.

Then the conversation changed, and he asked Batman: "Do you keep cats?"

"Cats? No, I don't like cats."

"I see, then it seems to be a stray cat."

Batman had already noticed.

He also laughed along: "It is indeed a stray cat, and a very beautiful stray cat at that."

Catwoman, hiding in the ventilation duct above them, realized that she had been exposed when she heard this.

So she immediately wanted to run away.

As a professional thief, she always planned an escape route before acting.

Therefore, although she was startled, she was not panicked.

She nimbly followed the escape route she had prepared in advance, ready to leave Wayne Manor.

As a result, just after passing through the long ventilation duct and crawling out of the duct opening, before she landed, she saw Leon looking at her.

It must be said, Catwoman's figure is truly perfect.

Leon sighed in his heart.

... How did he come? Why didn't I notice?

Catwoman Selina was puzzled.

But she quickly came to her senses and landed lightly.

Her landing posture was the same as a cat, with her toes touching the ground, almost without any sound.

No wonder she could become a master thief.

"You are a guest here, right? I saw you just now."

"If I say, I'm actually here to repair the ventilation ducts, would you believe me?"

Catwoman said to Leon.

Leon looked at her with the eyes of looking at an idiot.

Guess whether I believe you or not.

Seeing that she couldn't lie her way out, Catwoman stopped pretending.

She raised her hand and scattered a burst of smoke, ready to run away.

As a result, just after turning around, she saw Batmanblocking the way.

Then, she turned her head and saw the smoke she scattered frozen eerily in front of Leon.

Looking back and forth, Catwoman made a decision to follow her heart.

She raised her hands high and chose to surrender.

Things had come to this, there was nothing left to say.

She couldn't beat them, and she couldn't run away.

She could only surrender.

Being locked up is better than being beaten.

"Selina Kyle, also known as Catwoman."

"A well-known international master thief, who has committed hundreds of crimes and stolen precious jewelry worth more than one billion U.S. dollars."

"So this time, what did you set your eyes on of mine?"

In the living room, Catwoman sat obediently on the sofa.

And on her sides were Leon and Batman.

Batman also spoke to Catwoman in a gloomy voice at this time.

Catwoman was playing with her beautiful nails.

She didn't answer Batman's question.

Nonsense, how could a thief tell the owner what she had set her eyes on?

Isn't that increasing the difficulty for herself?

Seeing that Catwoman didn't answer, Batman wasn't angry either.

He said calmly: "No matter what you set your eyes on, your crimes are enough for you to stay in prison until you die."

"The Gotham Police Department is already on its way, you just wait to go to prison."

Catwoman was even more indifferent to this.

Isn't it just prison? It's not like she hasn't been there.

Who hasn't been inside for those mixing in Gotham?

And without exaggeration, the number of times she has broken out of prison is more than the number of times ordinary people go to prison.

Going to prison?

Could that stump her?

Looking at Catwoman's indifferent, thick-skinned appearance, Batman was also a bit helpless.

For a person like Catwoman who commits petty theft but is not inherently bad, he really didn't have a very good way.

Beat her up? Not necessary.

She just steals some things from the rich.

It's not like she's stealing the survival money of the poor.

Even if she does evil, it's a minor evil, not worthy of being punished too severely.

But ignoring it won't work either.

Having caught a thief, how can he just let her go?

Chapter 63: Kryptonian Spaceship, General Zod!

While Batman was having a headache over how to deal with Catwoman,

on Leon's side, he had already heard Kara's call.

Then, a portal appeared in front of Kara.

After seeing Leon, Kara quickly greeted him.

Then, with a solemn expression, she said to Leon, "Have you ever been to other parallel Worlds?"

"I mean, parallel Worlds of our World."

Leon shook his head. "No, I haven't."

He hadn't really visited the parallel Worlds of DC.

He had, however, visited Marvel's parallel Worlds quite a few times.

Hearing this answer, Kara was clearly a bit disappointed.

Her worry was visible to the naked eye.

"What's wrong? Is something the matter?"

Leon asked curiously, and Kara nodded.

"Just now, the Fortress of Solitude received a message from a Kryptonian spaceship."

"A group of Kryptonians is about to arrive on Earth."

Leon understood as soon as he heard it.

General Zod has arrived!

...

Although it is said that Kryptonian was destroyed,

the Kryptonians were not.

In fact, there are still many Kryptonians alive.

And besides Superman and Supergirl on Earth,

there is another group of Kryptonians in the Universe.

That would be General Zod and his subordinates.

Before Kryptonian was about to explode, General Zodescaped in a spaceship with his men.

Afterward, they drifted through the Universe, trying to find a way to restore Kryptonian.

However, to restore Kryptonian, they must have the "codex."

The "codex" contains all Kryptonian genes.

Only by obtaining the "codex" can the population of Kryptonian be increased.

Otherwise, there is no way to restore Kryptonian.

And the "codex" has always been on Earth.

This is the fundamental reason why General Zod and his team must come to Earth.

Earth's suitable climate is one aspect.

The most important thing is the codex.

After entering the Solar System,

General Zod and the others also learned that besides the codex on Earth, there was also a Kara.

Thus, before arriving at Earth, General Zod sent a message to Kara.

Demanding that Kara transmit information about Earth and cooperate with General Zod to complete the conquest.

In other words, they wanted Kara to take a side.

And this was exactly what Kara was worried about.

She was caught between Kryptonian and Earth.

She neither wanted to be an enemy of her Kryptoniancompatriots nor an enemy of Earth.

But unfortunately, General Zod of Kryptonian and Earthwere already in opposition.

Just as Kara was struggling, she discovered that Leon had returned to this World.

So, she called Leon over.

Wanting to hear what Leon's opinion was.

As a dimensional traveler, Leon's knowledge was certainly much greater than hers.

...

After clarifying the situation,

Leon quickly said, "The problem you face is actually quite simple."

"It's nothing more than you not knowing how to choose between Kryptonian and Earth."

"But in reality, you can have both."

Kara was surprised. "What do you mean?"

"It's simple. You help General Zod and his team choose a suitable Planet and let them terraform it."

"It doesn't necessarily have to be Earth."

"As for the codex, you can discuss it with Superman when the time comes."

"I believe that on the matter of their compatriots' survival, Superman will definitely agree."

Hearing this, Kara's eyes lit up.

Leon was right.

Kryptonian and Earth don't have to be mutually exclusive.

They can completely coexist.

However, the prerequisite for all of this is that General Zodmust be willing.

But would General Zod be willing?

The answer was soon revealed.

Following Kara to the Fortress of Solitude, Kara then sent a message to General Zod in outer space.

The content was the solution Leon had suggested.

Then, there was no reply.

Only General Zod's spaceship getting closer and closer to Earth.

At this point, General Zod's goal was very obvious.

General Zod didn't care about Earth at all, nor did he care about coexisting with Earth.

He simply wanted to rebuild Kryptonian on Earth, completely ignoring what Kara and Superman thought.

This approach made Leon unable to help but wonder

if there was something wrong with General Zod's brain.

He clearly had a good hand, so how could he play it so poorly?

...

In the original "Man of Steel,"

General Zod was so stupid it was almost abstract.

If his goal was to rebuild Kryptonian, the best thing to do would be to cooperate with Superman.

Then look for other suitable Planets to terraform into a New Krypton.

Instead of knowing Superman loves Earth yet insisting on blowing it up.

Even less should he intend to take Superman's life for the "codex."

He could have just talked to Superman properly.

As long as he explained that the codex was a matter of the Kryptonians' survival,

with Superman's personality, would he disagree?

And as long as General Zod didn't target Earth, would Superman object to him rebuilding Kryptonian?

Yet General Zod acted as if he had lost his mind.

Insisting on using force.

Insisting on ignoring billions of Earthlings and forcing the terraforming.

Insisting on ignoring Superman's own will and even his life to seize the codex.

In such a situation, how could a fight not break out?

And now, General Zod has made the same choice as in the original story.

And this time, what General Zod has to face

isn't just Superman, but also Supergirl and Leon.

...

Before General Zod's Kryptonian spaceship actually descended upon Earth,

Kara decided to make one last effort.

So, she called for Superman.

Then, together with Leon and Superman, she rushed toward the location of the Kryptonian spaceship.

Soon, the three flew out of Earth's atmosphere and into the Universe.

And quickly arrived in front of the Kryptonian spaceship.

Blocking the Kryptonian spaceship's path, they brought it to a halt.

At the same time, through the glass of the Kryptonianspaceship, they saw the Master of this Kryptonianspaceship, General Zod.

Soon, the Kryptonian spaceship's hatch opened. Leon and the others glanced at each other and entered the interior of the spaceship through the hatch.

As soon as they entered, the spaceship's scan began.

"Scan passed, welcome home!"

"Scan passed, welcome home!"

"Scan passed, welcome home!"

The three "scan passed" voices made Supergirl and Superman freeze for a moment.

They both turned their heads to look at Leon.

Leon had undergone testing at the Fortress of Solitudebefore, and it was proven that he didn't have any Kryptonian genes.

To the point where Supergirl and Superman both felt that Leon was not a Kryptonian.

As a result, what the hell was with the "scan passed" now?

You really are a Kryptonian.

Facing their gazes, Leon smiled.

Would he say that he had become a Kryptonian earlier?

Leon had previously obtained the "Injustice Superman" template, and it was at that time that he became a genuine Kryptonian.

Passing the Kryptonian spaceship's genetic scan, wasn't that perfectly normal?

Before they could think, General Zod had already walked over with several Kryptonian subordinates.

Then he said to the three of them, "I am General Zod, the current supreme commander of the Kryptonian civilization."

"State your purpose, Kryptonians of Earth!"

Chapter 64: Battle or Cooperation? Survival or Destruction?

In the end, Superman stepped forward to face General Zoddirectly.

He then spoke: "General Zod, I am here to persuade you."

"The Kryptonians do not necessarily have to be enemies with Earth."

"We can completely use better means to rebuild Krypton!"

Superman was very satisfied with the "win-win" proposal Leon had put forward.

As a Kryptonian who was also raised on Earth,

Superman wished for neither the destruction of Krypton nor the destruction of Earth.

Therefore, the coexistence of Krypton and Earth was the scenario he most wanted to see.

To this end, he specifically came to persuade General Zodto change his mind.

Why fixate on targeting Earth?

However, facing Superman's persuasion,

General Zod gave a cold laugh.

"Kal-El, you are just like your father—equally cowardly!"

"Until the moment he died, he was still laughably weak, and you are just like him!"

"As for Earth, it is indeed a beautiful Planet, but humans are too inferior; there is absolutely no need for them to exist!"

"Turning this Planet into New Krypton is the best choice!"

General Zod did not care at all about the life or death of humans on Earth.

Because in his eyes, the humans on Earth were no different from ants.

None had any value in living.

Therefore, General Zod sneered at the idea of a "win-win."

What kind of trash were Earthlings to deserve to win alongside him?

Furthermore, General Zod also intended to use this method to shape his own authority,

and establish the legitimacy of his rule over Krypton.

And this point was General Zod's true purpose.

Rebuilding Krypton was important, of course, but if it was a rebuilt Krypton that General Zod could not control,

then there was absolutely no need for this New Krypton to exist.

It was precisely because of this that there was no possibility of General Zod cooperating with Superman.

If it were merely about rebuilding Krypton, they could indeed cooperate.

But when it concerned the leadership of New Krypton, there was no possibility of cooperation in a power struggle.

...

As mentioned before,

the most important thing for rebuilding Krypton was the "codex" inside Superman's body.

Only with it could the population of the Kryptonian race be increased.

And this meant that all "Kryptonians" born in the future would, in theory, be Superman's children.

Under such circumstances, how could General Zod ever win against Superman in a power struggle?

The only way was to seize Superman's "codex" and become the father of all "Kryptonians" himself.

Only then could he win!

Based on this, there was an inherent, irreconcilable conflict between General Zod and Superman.

Not to mention, the "codex" could be used not only to breed Kryptonians,

but also to continuously enhance one's own strength.

With these two factors present, it would be a miracle if General Zod could cooperate properly with Superman.

Superman naturally couldn't figure these things out, nor could he guess General Zod's thoughts.

But there was one thing Superman did know.

That was, there was absolutely no possibility of reconciliation between him and General Zod.

General Zod was excessively forceful, even to a point of being somewhat foolish.

No matter how good Superman's temper was, he could not tolerate this at all now.

Thus, he flew directly into the air.

Looking down at General Zod, he said solemnly: "I will ask you one last time."

"Cooperation, or war!"

If possible, Superman naturally hoped for a win-win for both Krypton and Earth.

But if he had to choose one,

then Superman would undoubtedly choose Earth.

Not only because he was raised on Earth,

but more importantly, because Krypton had already perished.

This showed that Krypton itself was in the wrong.

Whereas Earth still exists today; even if Earth isn't necessarily 'right,' at least it hasn't been proved 'wrong' yet.

How to choose was, naturally, beyond doubt.

Furthermore, Superman's morality would not allow him to sit idly by while Zod destroyed Earth.

In the original story, the fact that he personally snapped General Zod's neck was the best proof.

Now, it was simply happening ahead of time.

Faced with Superman's threat, General Zod naturally would not back down.

He also glared at Superman: "Kryptonians will never fear war!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the Kryptonian warriors behind him raised their weapons one by one, aiming at Superman, Supergirl, and Leon.

The atmosphere was suddenly thick with the smell of gunpowder.

At this moment, Leon spoke up.

"Although I'm not exactly a proper Kryptonian, I still want to say something."

"Is it really necessary to fight? Even if the result is the complete annihilation of Krypton, are you still willing?"

"If you stop and choose to cooperate, Krypton will be rebuilt."

"But if you insist on fighting, then I guarantee that Krypton will never have the possibility of being resurrected."

"Do you really want to choose this?"

Leon's words were not alarmist talk.

It was because he could truly do what he said.

His strength was sufficient to make everything he said a reality.

If he wanted to, he could even mold a Krypton with his bare hands right now.

Conversely, he could also completely wipe out Krypton, the kind that could never be resurrected.

Never mind a few Kryptonian remnants led by General Zod—just a small handful of stragglers.

Even Krypton in its prime would still be like a stray on the roadside to the current Leon, something he could kick to death at will.

However, General Zod did not think so.

Looking at Superman and Leon, General Zod's thoughts did not waver in the slightest.

With a wave of his hand, he directly chose to start the war!

This was also the greatest flaw of Kryptonians.

Too rigid!

Kryptonians would have their genes set long before they were born.

And genes would determine a Kryptonian's talents and thoughts.

Take General Zod, for example.

He had the typical genes of a Kryptonian warrior.

Therefore, he was extremely brutal, warlike, and completely unable to assess the situation.

His head was full of the thrill of battle; that's the kind of person he was.

This was not something that could be changed by verbal persuasion.

It was determined by General Zod's genetic code.

No matter how his personality was modified, it would always be like this.

Unless his genetic code was changed.

And the same was true for General Zod's subordinate soldiers.

They followed orders without caring whether the orders were correct.

In other words, Kryptonians were just a bunch of tools, with almost no independent thought.

This was also the fundamental reason that led to the final destruction of Krypton.

Under these circumstances, how could General Zod not choose to go to war?

And as the Kryptonian soldiers behind General Zodlaunched their attacks one by one,

Superman and Supergirl were also completely disappointed.

The great battle thus began!

...

Well, actually, there was no great battle at all.

Because in an instant, General Zod and the other Kryptonian warriors had all been crushed to death by Leon.

Kryptonians?

What Kryptonian could act tough in front of the current Leon?

Never mind ordinary Kryptonians, Leon could even insta-kill Superman at will.

Unless those special "Super-God" versions of Supermancame out,

they might be able to contend with Leon for a few more rounds.

The normal version of Superman could not possibly be Leon's opponent.

Much less General Zod and his few ordinary Kryptonians.

Kryptonians who hadn't even basked in the Sun much yet.

Wouldn't Leon just toy with them and beat them easily?

Chapter 65: Raven, Daughter of Trigon

In almost an instant.

General Zod and his subordinates were completely wiped out.

And only then did Superman and Supergirl react.

They were astonished by Leon's immense power.

At the same time, they couldn't help but feel he was a bit too ruthless.

After all, these were some of the last remaining Kryptonians; his decisiveness in killing them...

...felt somewhat too extreme.

But Superman and Supergirl could also understand.

After all, General Zod and the others were completely beyond redemption.

They were entirely controlled by their own genes, having become extreme hardliners.

Even if they knew a win-win situation was the best choice for Krypton...

...they would still make the most stubborn and extreme choices under that "genetic drive."

Such people had to either be killed or locked away forever.

Peaceful coexistence was absolutely impossible.

Rather than letting General Zod and his followers suffer through long, endless darkness in torment...

...it was better to just kill them cleanly.

Moreover, both Superman and Supergirl shared a virtuous quality.

They didn't force others to act as moral paragons.

That they were saints themselves was their own business.

Their vow not to kill was a self-imposed moral restraint.

They wouldn't use that same moral restraint to demand things of others.

Nor would they point at Leon's nose and curse him as a butcher.

Strict with themselves, lenient with others.

This was the character of Superman and Supergirl.

Ultimately, with Leon's intervention, the crisis involving General Zod was resolved.

Unlike the original story, there was no massive battle on the surface that destroyed half the city.

Which directly led to the later "Batman v Superman."

Nor would General Zod's body be left behind to give birth to Doomsday.

One could say this was already the best possible outcome.

Finally, Leon, Superman, and Supergirl returned to Earth.

They landed at the Fortress of Solitude.

"Hurry up and take the test, let's see what's really going on."

"Whether it was a ship system error or something else!"

As soon as they landed, Supergirl grabbed Leon's hand and spoke urgently.

What she cared about most now was whether Leon was actually a Kryptonian.

The test results came out quickly.

This time, the genetic test passed.

Leon was confirmed to be a Kryptonian.

At this, Supergirl couldn't keep a straight face; she beamed.

In her excitement, she even hugged Leon directly.

Superman also smiled and patted Leon on the shoulder: "Welcome to the family, Leon."

Clearly, at this moment, Superman and Supergirl had fully accepted Leon's identity as their fellow countryman.

Leon didn't resist this either.

Being family with Superman and Supergirl was nothing to be ashamed of.

At the same time, in Gotham.

A woman with a red diamond-shaped crystal on her forehead escaped from a black portal.

After quickly identifying her location...

...she turned her gaze toward Batman's manor.

...

"So you're still in this World; I thought you had left."

On the rooftop of Gotham's Wayne Tower.

Leon floated in the air, looking down at Batman.

He explained, "I was having a meal on the moon earlier. Sound doesn't travel in space, you know."

In reality, it was a bluff.

With Leon's current abilities, if someone called his name, never mind across space...

...he could hear it accurately even across the barriers of space-time.

The reason he didn't appear immediately upon hearing Batman's call...

...was purely because he was having dinner with Supergirl.

Yes, having dinner on the moon.

Only after they finished and parted ways did Leon return to Gotham.

At the same time, Leon wondered why Batman was calling him for no apparent reason.

With Batman's personality, even if he encountered a strong enemy, he would usually find a way to solve it himself.

He rarely sought help.

Besides, in Gotham at this time, there shouldn't be any opponent that would make Batman call for backup.

He hadn't had his back broken by Bane yet.

Batman didn't care to distinguish whether Leon's excuse was true or not.

He simply said: "Someone wants to see you, but they couldn't find you, so they turned to me for help."

"Is that so? Who?"

"A woman from Hell!"

...

Batman's manor.

Leon met that woman from Hell.

Raven!

The daughter of Trigon, a powerful mage.

In the future, she would even join the Teen Titans and become a superhero.

But that was in the "Teen Titans" parallel Universe.

In this World, her life experiences were quite different.

To be honest, Leon couldn't think of a reason why Raven would be looking for him.

He didn't even know Raven.

"I heard you were looking for me. I don't believe we've met before."

Upon seeing Leon, Raven's expression was somewhat agitated.

Facing Leon's confusion, she explained: "I saw you in a future timeline."

"The future you killed Trigon and became one of the Lords of Hell."

"But that's where the problem comes from."

Besides possessing powerful magic, Raven had a special ability.

She could foresee the future and see clearly what happened on the future lines.

It was essentially an enhanced version of "Future Sight."

And the problem she mentioned was also related to this "Future Sight."

She said directly: "I'm sorry, but the future I observed was also noticed by Trigon."

"And to avoid the fate of being killed directly by you in the future..."

"...He decided to destroy this World in advance."

"He is coming soon, and only you can stop all of this."

After listening to Raven, Leon finally understood the situation.

To put it simply, Trigon was coming to destroy the World.

However, Leon was still somewhat puzzled.

Because with his strength, he should have transcended the timeline in the future.

How could Raven observe his future self?

Unless...

Unless he and Raven had very intimate contact in the future.

This would cause Raven to be stained with his karma.

Only then could Raven capture fragments of the timeline related to Leon.

In other words, in the future, Raven was most likely... his person?

Thinking of this, Leon's gaze toward Raven became a bit strange.

But he didn't show it.

He would worry about that later.

The urgent matter was to face Trigon first.

...

In the DC Universe.

Hell truly exists.

And it is very strong.

Exaggeratedly strong.

It was completely different from the Marvel Universe's Hell, which was so weak it could be soloed by Ghost Rider.

Hell in this World was essentially a reflection of the material World.

It possessed a mass as vast as the material World.

Furthermore, every time a powerhouse appeared in the material World, a similar demon god would be born in the Hell World.

Trigon was just such a being.

In some versions, Trigon was actually Darkseid's reflection in Hell.

His level was basically equivalent to Darkseid's.

From this, one could see Trigon's terror.

Now, Trigon was determined to destroy Earth.

With his strength, he could absolutely achieve this.

Even Superman couldn't stop him.

The current Superman was still too green; he was definitely no match for Trigon.

Chapter 66: Trigon, King of Hell

Knowing that Trigon was about to descend upon the real World...

...and destroy the Earth.

Leon became uncharacteristically serious.

Trigon was indeed an opponent that could not be underestimated.

He asked Raven, "Do you know when He will descend, and where?"

Raven shook her head.

"I can't tell. His power is far, far greater than mine."

"But as soon as He reveals His presence in the real World, I'll be able to sense Him immediately."

Leon nodded. "I see. In that case, stay with me for the time being."

"That way, when Trigon descends, I can get there as soon as possible and prevent Him from destroying the World."

Raven nodded.

This was the best way for now.

Meanwhile, Batman stood to the side, listening in total confusion.

Who was Trigon? Was he very powerful?

It could only be said that the current Batman was far from as powerful as he was in the comics.

He still needed to experience more crises and undergo more tempering.

Only then would he gradually grow into the omnipotent Batman of the comics.

Leon didn't explain much to Batman either.

Because even if the current Batman knew, he wouldn't be able to handle it.

So, Leon simply left with Raven.

Leaving Batman alone to silently clench his fists.

For the first time, he felt how insignificant his power was.

Clearly, the World was facing a crisis of destruction.

Yet, he didn't even have the qualifications to intervene.

Metahumans and their ilk were truly annoying after all.

...

"Let's take a rest here for now."

Leading Raven out of a portal, they arrived at a beautiful lakeside.

A magnificent castle stood by the lake.

This was something Leon had manifested using his reality-warping ability.

He intended to use it as his temporary base in the DC Universe.

Raven had no objections to this.

She followed Leon into the castle, found a room, and lay down to rest.

She was too exhausted.

Ever since she learned that Trigon intended to destroy the World...

...she had exerted all her strength to escape Trigon's control and open a portal to the real World.

All of this had consumed too much of her power.

Previously, due to the sense of crisis, her nerves had been constantly on edge.

She had forced herself not to rest.

But now, she truly couldn't hold on any longer.

She decisively fell asleep the moment her head hit the pillow.

While asleep, her consciousness pierced through the barrier between the real World and Hell, returning once more to the depths of Hell.

And because of this, she encountered her father, Trigon.

Trigon had no specific physical form; His essence was a force of absolute power.

Theoretically, Trigon appeared differently to different individuals.

In Raven's eyes, Trigon was a colossal, horned giant with red skin and four eyes.

This giant was so massive that words could not describe Him.

Vast star systems were like mere grains of sand before Him.

He was so powerful, so grand...

...that every time she saw her father, Raven felt a fear that originated from the depths of her soul.

This time was no different.

Fear caused Raven's thoughts to almost stop functioning.

At that moment, Trigon spoke: "My daughter, you have betrayed me."

"You fled my domain; you went to Earth seeking a way to stop me."

"Your crimes must be punished, even if you are my only daughter!"

When Trigon spoke, His voice vibrated so intensely that the surrounding star systems constantly flickered in and out of existence.

It caused Raven's soul to tremble incessantly, nearly on the verge of collapse.

Just then, a reassuring voice rang out: "Is that so? Why don't you try and see if you can actually do it."

Under the influence of this voice, Raven's previously terrified soul unexpectedly calmed down.

Her previously frozen consciousness began to function again.

She turned her head toward the direction of the voice.

Then, she saw a familiar figure.

Leon!

At this moment, Leon's entire body radiated infinite light, like the brightest Sun in the Universe.

Dispelling all darkness.

Even Trigon, facing Leon directly, felt his body being scorched.

An instinctive sense of crisis made even Trigon's expression turn solemn.

At the same time, He recognized who Leon was.

"It's you, you damned wretch."

"It was you who killed me in the future."

"But I won't give you another chance; I won't let the events of the future happen as scheduled."

"I will kill you here. You fool, you shouldn't have intruded into my domain!"

Looking at the roaring Trigon, Leon let out a disdainful sneer.

"You think you're capable of that?"

"Roar!"

Leon's attitude enraged Trigon, who threw a backhand punch at him.

The terrifying power caused the star systems in front of Trigon to collapse instantly.

Yet, when it reached Leon's vicinity, all that power vanished in an instant.

Instead, Leon himself threw a punch toward Trigon.

This single punch nearly caused Trigon's physical form to shatter.

But soon, Trigon solidified again.

A simple attack like this couldn't directly harm His true essence.

But making Him look pathetic was no problem at all.

And that was enough to make Trigon fly into a rage.

He hissed and growled at Leon, wishing he could swallow him whole in one bite.

"Stop howling. If you're so capable, come find me on Earth."

"As for her, I'm taking her with me now. You can try to stop me!"

Leon said to Trigon.

He didn't plan to finish Trigon off here.

Because Trigon really was very strong.

And within Hell, Trigon possessed what was essentially a massive buff.

He was almost impossible to kill completely here.

Furthermore, as the commotion grew, it might attract other big shots of Hell.

If he were to be besieged then, even Leon would find it quite troublesome.

It was better to leave first.

Once in the Material World, if Trigon dared to descend, Leon would simply twist His head off and be done with it.

Trigon was naturally deathly pale with rage at this.

He tried to strike and stop Leon, but Leon broke through with ease.

Trigon's impotent fury terrified the demons within His domain, causing them all to curl up on the ground, trembling.

Raven opened her eyes, her first reaction being to check her body.

She found him by the lake, fishing.

Seeing Raven approach, Leon asked with a smile, "How did you sleep?"

Raven said to him, "Just now in Hell, you saved me."

"No need for thanks. After all, we're partners now."

Raven smiled.

Then she stepped forward and hugged Leon in gratitude. "Thank you regardless. If it weren't for you, I might really have been dragged back by Trigon."

Simply put, it was the suspension bridge effect.

At her moment of greatest fear, Leon had appeared to save her.

This caused Raven's affection for Leon to skyrocket.

That was why she took the initiative.

And Leon readily accepted this.

Ever since he realized that his future self and Raven were involved...

...he had already considered Raven one of his own.
