Chapter 62 - A new adventure cap 62

I invite you to join my P@treon to read content in advance.

....

"She works with May!"

"We became friends and we hang out sometimes!"

As she said that, Felicia didn't show on her face how she felt about remembering what she and Felicia did that night. She hoped MJ and Gwen wouldn't suspect anything else.

"And she has a key to your house?!" MJ asked in surprise.

Of course, his answer didn't satisfy MJ, who, unbeknownst to Felicia, knew about his secret relationship with Jessica.

Gwen, who was in the middle of the 2 also saw Felicia because she was also curious about what she heard.

"I forgot my key at his house and he gave it back to me that day!" Felicia shouted, hiding the fact that she was a little nervous.

I didn't know how to explain that Jessica had a key to her house because Peter had one too.

When their mother wasn't home, the two of them would visit her and could enter her house directly with the key. When Peter was busy, Jessica would visit, and the girls would have fun together.

MJ and Gwen had doubts on their faces, but they couldn't ask more because something happened.

"Hey, what's that!" someone in the crowd shouted, pointing at something in the sky.

One by one, people pointed to the sky and the rest paid attention as well.

There was a point in the sky in the distance, which was getting closer and closer.

As it got closer, they could see it was… A person?

The figure was human and was flying on top of a glider and was approaching rapidly.

"¡YES! ¡YES! ¡YES! ¡YES! ¡YES!"

As the figure flew over them, they heard loud laughter and the audience cheered because they thought the green figure was part of the festival.

"Incredible!"

"They really showed off with that," Felicia said, pleased that this interrupted the girls' interrogation and hoping they would forget to ask again later.

"This…"

"I don't think it's part of the festival," Gwen said, pointing to the jugglers and festival attendants who were looking on with doubt.

But they didn't have much time to think about this because the human figure on top of the glider flew by again and they heard its laughter again.

"¡YES! ¡YES! ¡YES! ¡YES! ¡YES!"

Everyone looked up and the girls couldn't help but do the same.

Although it seemed like it wasn't part of the show, it wasn't common to see someone flying.

Of course, things didn't last long before going wrong.

As the green figure flew over them, it threw something toward a balcony of a building.

The girls remembered that that building was where the event Peter attended with Felicia's mother was held, and they wondered what that green figure had thrown.

Suddenly, a red and blue figure appeared and kicked what the green figure threw.

High in the air, the orange sphere stopped for a second and could be seen by those with a camera who could zoom in.

Like MJ, who pointed his video camera and saw what looked like an orange ball flash with green light… and explode.

"¡BOOOOM!"

The explosion shook people to the ground and shattered the windows of nearby buildings, causing a large number of glass shards to fall to the ground.

"¡AAAAAAAAAH!"

People screamed in fear and saw the pieces of glass coming towards them.

But to everyone's relief, Spider-Man appeared again and took care of the pieces of glass.

Several well-aimed shots caused the larger pieces of glass to be covered with spider webs, and a larger net caught the smaller pieces.

But people couldn't feel safe very quickly, as the green figure returned and threw more of those orange balls.

As they screamed, everyone started running away in fear while pushing each other.

Nobody wanted to die and they didn't care about pushing everyone in their paths.

While everyone was panicking, Spider-Man acted quickly and fired again.

But this time they weren't spider webs.

Blue lights shot out of his arms and hit the orange spheres.

To the Green Goblin's disbelief, his pumpkin bombs immediately disappeared.

Knowing that he could not accomplish his goal, the green goblin became angry and thought about his next moves.

Norman had seen videos of Spiderman's performances and knew he was no match.

In addition to his monstrous strength, Spider-Man had force field technology that prevented him from taking major damage, so his exploding pumpkins didn't have much chance of harming him.

Not to mention those blue ace shots that destroyed his exploding pumpkins. Norman didn't want to be hit by that attack.

Knowing that Spiderman couldn't fly at high speed, Norman turned around and walked away.

"¡YES! ¡YES! ¡YES! ¡YES! ¡YES!"

Of course, not without causing a laugh that would be present in audiences' nightmares for the foreseeable future.

Seeing that the Green Goblin was retreating, Spiderman decided not to chase him since he didn't want him to launch all his exploding pumpkins in a desperate attack and hurt or kill someone.

Even though he could stop anything the Green Goblin threw, he would be openly displaying his sorcery, and he didn't want to do that right now.

The blue projectiles, which destroyed the explosive pumpkins, were fired from the rings on his arms, and witnesses will think it is technology and not sorcery.

Since he already used something similar in his fight against Iron Monger, no one would suspect anything else.

Seeing the figure of the Green Goblin moving away, the first thing he did was disappear and invisibly follow, along with other clones, the Green Goblin to his lair.

He wanted all of Norman Osborn's technology and knowledge, so he let him return to his lair.

I hadn't mentioned it, but he was also a clone, since the real Peter was accompanying Lydia.

Back at the event, people hadn't left the event because they could get hurt if they went outside, so they just stayed away from the windows.

Especially many of the people at the event who thought this attack was directed at them.

Like the Oscorp shareholders, who were at the window when the attacker threw those explosive spheres and if it weren't for Spiderman they would be dead.

Peter's phone rang and he heard Felicia's worried voice.

After assuring everyone that they were okay, Felicia told her that she would return home with the girls since the festival was not going to continue for obvious reasons.

Saying goodbye to his girlfriend, Peter hung up the call and told Lydia that her daughter was fine.

Lydia sighed in relief while still unable to believe that there had been an attack.

Although shootings were not uncommon in the country, she had never been near one, much less near an attack like this.

Just like the festival, the event ended shortly after a few words were said and soon everyone began to leave the venue.

After saying goodbye to a few people, the duo left and got into their car under the guidance of Peter's bodyguards.

On the street, they could see people running and journalists reporting on the attack at the scene.

"I had a lot of fun, too bad about what happened last time," Lydia said as she leaned against Peter.

By the end of the party, Lydia was showing signs of intoxication, so it was not unusual for her to be unable to stand upright and lean against Peter.

"I don't think so, I didn't have that much fun," Peter shook his head.

I'd rather face 100 enemies to the death than go through the experience of socializing with so many people again.

And at the thought of how he might be having fun with his girls right now, Peter felt even less inclined to repeat the event.

"Oooh, but this night might not be over yet," Lydia said suggestively as she pressed her breasts against Peter's.

"What do you mean?" Peter said, confused by Lydia's behavior.

She hadn't sensed any ill intentions from Lydia, so she hadn't read her mother-in-law's thoughts.

"You've helped me a lot tonight…" Lydia said before letting out a hiccup.

"Hic! …., I think you deserve a… reward" Lydia said as she brought her face closer.

"Lydia, you're Felicia's mother. I think the alcohol is getting to you," Peter said, trying to talk some sense into Lydia. Though from what he knew of Lydia's mind at the time, the woman wasn't going to be stopped by a few words alone.

"The alcohol... Hic! It's just giving me a little courage," Lydia said as her hand rubbed Peter's leg.

"I haven't been with a man since Felicia's father... Hic! And I was attracted to you before I even knew you were dating my daughter."

Seeing Lydia's hungry gaze and feeling her large breasts on him, Peter swallowed and knew he had to make a decision.
