*Chapter 18: The Plan*
Mira's eyes fluttered open, and she pretended to regain consciousness. Leo's men relaxed their grip on her, and she saw her chance since Leo left to chased after mira.
As they turned their attention back to the Leo chasing after Mira .she made a subtle movement, catching the a guards eye. The guard nodded, and the female spy knew the guard understood her y cause they worked for venom.
With a swift kick, the female spy took down one of Leo's men, then used her bound hands to grab a nearby pipe and strike another guard. Chaos erupted as the female spy and guard fought for their lives.
Leo's face twisted in rage as he lunged at Mira. But she was ready. With a fierce determination, she fought back, using every ounce of strength she possessed.
The girl, now free from her restraints, joined forces with Mira, and together they took down Leo's men one by one "run... hurry just keep running I'll catch up ..
The female spy tried fighting Leo but it was no use and more guards kept coming so she had no choice but to join Mira in the run.
But Leo didn't follow them anymore he knew venom betrays and will do they same to Mira but he wanted to teach her a lesson.
But one of his men still followed them but the two worked together..
As the last guard fell, Mira and the girl stood panting, their chests heaving with exertion. The girl's eyes locked onto Mira's, and she smiled.
"Thanks for the assist," she said, her voice husky from the torture.
Mira smiled back, feeling a sense of solidarity with this stranger. "No problem," she replied. "I'm Mira."
The girl's smile faltered, and she looked away. "I'm...Eva," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Mira's eyes narrowed. There was something about Eva's tone that didn't quite add up. But she pushed the thought aside, focusing on their escape.
"Let's get out of here," Mira said, gesturing towards the gate.
Eva nodded, and together they made their way out of the gates, into the unknown.
As they emerged into the bright moonlight, Mira felt a sense of freedom she hadn't felt in weeks. But she knew their ordeal was far from over. Leo would stop at nothing to capture them again.
And then, there was the matter of Venom...
