Daphne stood still while Alice fastened the last pin into her hair.
She stood before the mirror longer than she intended to. She felt different.
Her body had changed in ways that still surprised her. Her figure carried gentle fullness now, her hips were rounder and her chest was fuller. Even her posture was different.
Her long hair had grown longer, falling past her waist in blond loose waves.
Daphne exhaled. The pregnancy had left her with a glow she hadn't asked for, now her figure filled out in a way that drew attention without trying to.
Daphne caught Alice staring and smiled faintly. "What?"
Alice blinked and cleared her throat. "Nothing, Your Highness. You just..." She stopped herself, then smiled. "You look well."
"Very beautiful," Kira also added.
She looked like herself again.
"Is this too much?" she asked, glancing at her reflection.
Alice paused. "Too much for what?"
"For… going out."
