Chapter 94 - Chapter 94: Being a God Can't Be That Wicked, Right?

After several consecutive rounds, God King Kronos had indeed begun to grow complacent, as expected.

And it wasn't just him—many gods on both sides had become somewhat lax.

Zeus's actions to lull the God King had been executed quite well.

Ever since the first battle, he had never again displayed additional allies or hidden abilities, making his overall combat power appear very stable.

Moreover, he used no underhanded tactics, everything appearing open and aboveboard.

As if he truly was already giving his all, and what remained was to persistently fight on until one side finally admitted defeat and surrendered.

After several battles, the gods on both sides had wins and losses, with no decisive results.

But each side had gained some advantages and suffered some minor losses.

Both sides' war remained locked in fierce stalemate, as if it would continue until the end of time, never-ending.

Then Zeus quietly went to seek out Lady Night.

The final moment was about to arrive—it was time for the eternal goddess of night to act!

More importantly, it was time to reclaim his great thunder!

When Zeus met Lady Night once again, she had not shrouded herself in night's gauze to conceal her infinite dark allure.

She had even deliberately changed into attire that better highlighted her charm, making night's hazy graceful curves visible yet hidden, radiating fatal attraction.

Noble, aloof Lady Night with profound and commanding temperament, wearing an infinitely beautiful smile, her voice clear and cold yet seductive: "Ah, illustrious Zeus, great Zeus—is it time to begin the final decisive battle?"

The smile of profound night was a beauty that words and language could barely contain, possessing infinitely attractive charm that made gods completely unable to look away.

As the incarnate embodiment of the universe's most primitive, fundamental, and profound night laws, her divine form's beauty had long transcended mundane definitions, reaching infinite realms.

Yet for great gods like Zeus, he could more clearly see through Lady Night's absolutely beautiful exterior to her purer and more beautiful essence.

That was the even more seductive ultimate cosmic law!

The embodiment of sky would instinctively be deeply attracted by night's primitive and profound allure.

Just seeing night's smile had Zeus enchanted and bewildered as he returned a brilliant smile, even his voice carrying traces of intoxication: "Respected, beautiful Lady Night, yes—the final decisive battle is about to come."

"I need your help."

The elegant night goddess nodded lightly in salute, smiling as she said: "Please command, Your Majesty God King. Night will give her all to present you with final victory!"

Zeus, whose romantic heart was stirring, temporarily set aside his amorous thoughts and forcibly became serious: "I need to rescue the Hecatoncheires and Cyclops—I need your help to shield the God King's sight. This matter must be absolutely secret, with no room for error."

Nyx couldn't help but sigh deeply in her heart. Worldly affairs were truly cyclical—past events would happen once again, drawing the universe into similar whirlpools of fate.

However, all this was within her expectations.

After all, those six giants were truly too formidable.

They combined all the advantages of Sky Father and Earth Mother, deities born from Earth Mother's strong desire to overthrow Sky Father, destined for battle from the moment of their birth.

They were the universe's most primitive, purest, and most formidable combat deities.

Any one of these giants could match the combat power of Primordial Titans, or even exceed it.

Who wouldn't calculate such powerhouses into this war that would decide the universe's fate?

Yet only Zeus had the possibility of gaining these giants' assistance.

Kronos could no longer possibly gain their help.

In the current battlefield, once these six world-destroying giants joined, victory or defeat would be decided in an instant.

Stunningly beautiful Nyx nodded lightly, her slender, cold white neck faintly radiating sacred radiance in the darkness, full of night's mystery and allure.

She said softly: "No problem—I can accomplish this."

Lady Night raised her final doubt: "Your Majesty God King, your victory is already destined, but how should the former God King be dealt with?"

"That God King will never give up power. He is a cosmic cornerstone who cannot be destroyed."

"If he continuously harasses your new order, this world will never have peace—chaos and strife will be endless."

Upon hearing this, Zeus sighed deeply, his expression and tone extremely sorrowful and reluctant: "Dear Nyx, I understand everything you say."

"This is the second thing I must request of you."

"The second thing I must do, even though I'm extremely unwilling and my heart aches."

"For the stability of cosmic order, for the world's lasting peace, for gods and all spirits to peacefully enjoy this world, I can only cast God King Kronos into Tartarus."

Though Zeus's voice carried some "reluctance," the firmness and resolution within it was absolutely unquestionable.

"After I defeat the insufferably arrogant Kronos, I will join with the giants to restrict the God King's movements, and Mother Goddess will delay all the God King's actions."

"At that time, I request great Night Goddess—please personally act, using night's supreme authority to become an absolute dark curtain, temporarily locking the God King's divine nature from escaping, giving me the chance to cast him into Tartarus."

"Not just God King Kronos—the insightful Titan and bright Phoebe, plus the death weaver, must face the same ending."

Even the usually wise and steady Nyx felt a sudden shock hearing Zeus's words that seemed reluctant yet were actually terrifyingly firm and without hesitation.

This son of Kronos who was about to become the new God King was clearly not some soft-hearted god either, showing no indecisiveness whatsoever.

Being cast into Tartarus was a punishment countless times more terrifying than complete annihilation of divine nature!

Though she had long known the God King's son wouldn't be any weak god, Nyx still felt somewhat chilled, inexplicable coldness rising from her heart's depths.

The celestial lineage—none were good gods!

Lady Night muttered inwardly: In the future, won't the new God King also bully me?

Worried Nyx thought of Hades, then looked at Zeus, and her heart became somewhat more at ease.

She thought to herself: 'This time I'm so deeply involved, having risked everything—surely he won't turn his back and refuse to acknowledge gods again? Being a god can't be that wicked, right?!'

Things had reached this point—Nyx had no choice left.

Having steeled her resolve, Nyx replied seriously: "I will follow your will, for the world's stability, for the gods' honor!"

Zeus nodded with satisfaction. With business concluded, his romantic inclinations began stirring again, becoming somewhat lost in night's allure once more. Suppressing his heart's turbulence, he turned to leave.

Now was not yet the time for indulgence.
