Chapter 7 - World No 01-Seducing Boss 07

Baek Min hadn't expected Cassian to reject him so bluntly without giving him any face. His expression turned awkward and pained. "Are you angry? I... I won't go out to parties with my friends at night anymore."

Cassian pinched the bridge of his nose. "I'm not angry."

He simply felt there was no need to interfere in the other's affairs. Moreover, he truly didn't require any pheromone soothing right now.

Perhaps it was the lingering scent of that person's pheromones combined with the timely injection of the suppressant, but this Rut was surprisingly easy to suppress.

"Cassian—" Baek Min, likely influenced by the alcohol and the shock of being confronted by his "ambiguous partner's" spouse earlier today, was acting a bit high-strung. "There's no need for this..."

"If you don't like it, just say so. There's no need to treat me like this."

Baek Min's eyes shimmered with tears, looking as if he had been deeply wronged.

Cassian truly didn't know how to coax people; furthermore, he had no desire to. His originally pleasant mood had been completely disrupted.

He frowned slightly. "I don't dislike it, and I'm not angry. Even after our engagement, you remain a free and independent individual. Who you choose to socialize with is your own choice."

"I am indeed in my Rut, but I've already taken a suppressant. Therefore, a temporary marking is unnecessary. I didn't refuse because of anger."

He stood up abruptly and picked up his suit jacket. "Do you understand when I put it that way?"

Baek Min's eyes were red, his lips trembling. "I..."

Cassian gave him a nod, stepped out, and closed the door behind him.

Baek Min stared blankly at the door Cassian had just walked through, a sudden, strange panic seizing his heart.

He had a bizarre premonition... as if after leaving this time, Cassian would never stop for him again.

He lunged toward the door and opened it with shaking hands, but the hallway was already empty. He covered his face and began to sob, finally unable to resist taking out his phone to call Park Yong. "...Senior... I..."

"What? He actually lost his temper with you? Does he really need to control you that much over a simple gathering? That's a lack of respect for you," Park Yong frowned.

Park Yong had been woken up by the phone. He stood up and threw on a coat, intending to head out. "Where are you now? I'll come find you."

As he stood up to leave, the master bedroom door opened. Seo Eun Woo stood there wrapped in a robe, his eyes misty with sleep. "Are you going out?"

Park Yong hesitated for a moment. "There's an emergency at the office. I have to head over."

Seo Eun Woo rubbed his eyes, his peach-blossom eyes appearing even more alluring. "Does it have to be now? It's pouring outside, and you've been drinking—"

He blinked, trying to wake himself up. His voice still carried a soft, post-sleep nasality that sounded quite doting. "How about I drive you there?"

The pheromone compatibility between the two was very high, not to mention that Seo Eun Woo was currently in an Omega's most vulnerable period; the scent of roses was involuntarily diffusing through the air.

Park Yong instinctively leaned toward his own Omega. He subconsciously avoided Seo Eun Woo's eyes. "I... no need. I'll just take a taxi."

"Alright," Seo Eun Woo approached him and gave him a brief hug, smiling tenderly. "Then come back early."

Park Yong looked down. "Okay."

Seo Eun Woo watched as a guilt-ridden Park Yong walked out the door. The corners of his lips curved into a delighted arc.

System 555 whispered, "Host, your husband must be blind. You're so beautiful, why doesn't he like you? Why does he have to go find that stupid..."

"Alright now," Seo Eun Woo walked leisurely into the study and took out Park Yong's laptop. "Let Baek Min keep Park Yong company."

He opened the laptop, inserted a USB drive, and began exporting and backing up all of his dance videos. "It's time for us to get down to business."

He was going to make Baek Min return everything that didn't belong to him.
