Chapter 52 - Chapter 52 – The Birth of a Crew

Blood still steamed on the stones of Level Six. The silence that followed Magnus's victory was heavy, broken only by Bullet's ragged breathing as he rose to his feet. The giant of a man stood tall again, battered but unbroken, his eyes burning with the dangerous gleam of a warrior who had found something worth following.

"Lead the way, Captain," Bullet rumbled, his voice low but carrying through the dungeon like thunder.

Magnus didn't answer His eyes swept the darkness of the cells, past the broken men who had wilted under his Haki. He was looking for more voices that hadn't been silenced by fear.

And he found them.

A hand the size of a boulder gripped the bars of one cell, the steel screaming as it bent. A giant, his body crisscrossed with scars like rivers of fire, pushed his face forward, one eye gleaming through the shadow.

"I fought under the flag of Elbaf," the giant rumbled, his voice deep enough to shake the floor. "But they threw me here when I refused to kneel to their justice. You… your will shakes even the earth. Free me boy, and I'll follow you into the maw of the sea itself."

Another voice rose sharp and cold from the opposite cage. A man in tattered Marine whites, his coat stripped of rank, his face hidden beneath tangled black hair. His voice carried no respect only venom.

"The World Government betrayed me. I killed my superior for selling out his own men and they locked me here to rot. If you cut me free, I'll burn their fleets for you."

One by one, whispers began to rise from the cages. Fallen pirates and Broken warriors.

Forgotten monsters whose names had long been erased from the records. Eyes gleamed through the shadows, hungry for freedom for blood, for vengeance.

Magnus's hand tightened on Shusui. He didn't smile, but his voice cut like a decree.

"Then prove yourselves worthy once you're free. Follow me, and you'll carve your names into the bones of this world. Fail… and you'll die by my blade before the Marines can lay a hand on you."

With a single swing, black lightning crackled through the dungeon. Bars twisted apart like wet paper and even their chains getting shattered.

Prisoners stumbled forward, their eyes wide with disbelief.

The giant bellowed his war-cry shaking dust from the ceiling.

The rogue Marine ripped a broken spear from the ground and twirled it with practiced ease.

Bullet stepped up beside Magnus, his massive frame towering with his grin feral. "Hah! Now this looks like a crew."

Then the alarms screamed.

A crimson light washed through the corridors as sirens wailed, the sound echoing all the way to the surface. A Den Den Mushi crackled with the voice of a Marine officer, strained and frantic.

"ALL UNITS..LEVEL SIX BREACH CONFIRMED!

REPEAT, LEVEL SIX BREACH CONFIRMED!

RELEASE THE BUSTER CALL!"

The words slammed into the prison like cannon fire. Outside, the sea itself began to tremble as fleets of Marine battleships moved into formation, their cannons primed, their banners snapping in the storm winds.

Inside, Vice Admirals and squads of chained beasts surged downward, their shadows stretching long across the stairwells.

Magnus lifted Shusui its cursed edge humming as it drank in his will. The black lightning returned, crawling up the steel like a storm barely held in check. His voice was calm, but it struck every heart that heard it.

"Let's move."

Bullet cracked his fists together, the sound like stone breaking. The giant roared again, shaking the iron gates of Level Six. The rogue Marine spat on the ground, twirling his spear.

And together, they surged upward.

The clash shook Impel Down from its foundations.Marines poured down in waves but they shattered against Magnus's Conqueror's-infused blade, their bodies scattering like leaves in a storm.

Bullet tore through the armored beasts with his fists, bones crunching beneath every strike.

The giant ripped chains from the walls and wielded them like whips, smashing through squads in a single sweep.

The rogue Marine moved like fire his spear finding throats with ruthless precision.

Above the sea thundered with the arrival of the Buster Call. Cannons rolled into place, their black maws pointed at the prison like judgment waiting to fall.

And still, Magnus climbed. His eyes were cold, his blade unyielding. Every step forward was carved in blood.

For the first time, Impel Down itself trembled not from the prisoners within but from the birth of something far greater.

A crew.
