Chapter 112: Throughout Heaven and Earth I alone am the Honored One

The kiss was brief, gone in an instant, yet it burned with an emotion too intense to hide.

Before the black cape shielding them could even fall, Wonder Woman pulled back her enticing lips and quickly stepped out of the crater.

But before she left, she left behind one more of her sacred weapons—

The Lasso of Truth.

"Thank you, Aunt."

Xi Nian's lips curved into a smile above the crater. The faint fragrance of violets still lingered on his lips, and through that kiss, a medium had entered his body.

Contact with the opposite sex, medium absorbed.

Condition fulfilled.

This was the third time today that Xi Nian's Master of Affection ability had been triggered.

Thump, thump, thump!

Once again, Xi Nian's heartbeat pounded like war drums. But this time, it was stronger, louder, clear and exhilarating!

He closed his eyes.

It was as if he could see Olympus fifty thousand years ago, when mighty Old Gods stood tall, their divine powers intertwined, casting lightning across the deepest reaches of the cosmos.

He listened closely.

He could hear the cries from the ruins of Krypton, countless light-years away—an entire race refusing to accept extinction, entrusting their last hopes to two children.

Love, and power.

The might of the Old Gods of Greece, and the bloodline of Krypton—the abilities of Earth's and Krypton's greatest races now converged inside one human youth, for the first time in history.

Two supreme powers that should have fought for dominance now found a bridge. With the help of Xi Nian's Spider abilities, countless invisible strands wove between them, tugging, pulling, and gradually merging into one.

The power of the Old Gods and the power of Krypton began to reinforce each other, moving toward a small yet perfect balance.

…

Xi Nian opened his eyes. His pupils blazed golden, as if burning with the ancient flames of the gods.

His black hair grew rapidly, turning silver-white, each strand glowing with raw divine energy, cascading over his shoulders and down his back.

The black Superman suit stretched across his frame, now covered in a shimmering white sheen of divine energy.

And then—

Crackle!

Silver-white lightning flashed wildly around his body, tearing through the air. His dark cape whipped behind him, but it was the electricity that screamed of his overwhelming might.

Whoosh!

The golden Lasso of Truth left by Wonder Woman suddenly stirred on its own, slithering like a dragon in the air before circling behind Xi Nian's head, forming a glowing halo of light.

Whoooom!

A power greater than ever before erupted from Xi Nian, so strong it blew the hair and clothes of the Justice League dozens of meters away.

This was it.

Spider powers, Old God power, Kryptonian body—

The true form of Xi Nian's transcendence.

…

"What… is that?!" The Justice League members, and even Supergirl hovering above, all stared in shock.

The Flash felt instinctively that the lightning sparking around Xi Nian was similar to the Speed Force he wielded—but he needed to move at light-speed to summon it, while Xi Nian generated it simply by standing still.

Cyborg's body suddenly convulsed. The red glow in his chest and cybernetic eye flickered out.

Aquaman rushed to steady him. "You alright?"

For a moment, Arthur feared Cyborg's auto-defense system might fire another missile.

"I'm fine." Cyborg sucked in a deep breath, shaking his head with a bitter smile as he stared at the transformed youth. "Relax. My defense systems… they all just shut down."

His voice trembled. "You don't understand. When facing Superman earlier, my body—rebuilt with Apokoliptian tech—reacted with instinctive hostility, automatically engaging weapons. But now? My systems didn't even dare to activate."

"It's more than fear. The Apokoliptian tech within me analyzed him and decided—this presence cannot be opposed. So there's no point in even defending."

Aquaman fell silent, chills running through his royal blood. His Atlantean lineage itself trembled, wanting to bow before Xi Nian.

"Diana. Tell me what you just did." Batman, still holding the jar containing the alien starfish, spoke gravely to Wonder Woman.

But Diana never looked away from Xi Nian. A confident smile appeared on her lips—one even greater than her own faith in herself. "Watch closely. It's about to end."

…

"This feeling… is incredible."

Xi Nian, wreathed in divine aura, muttered as he looked down at his glowing hand. The first time he gained Kryptonian powers, he had felt invincible.

Now, he wasn't sure it was an illusion at all.

Boom!

The air cracked with a sonic boom as Superman Kal-El dove from the sky, his fist swinging down with enough power to split the heavens.

But then—the battlefield froze in shock.

Xi Nian hadn't even raised his gaze. He was still staring at his right hand when his left hand lifted, palm open. Effortlessly, he caught Superman's punch.

The blow that could crush mountains… dispersed like nothing.

And beneath Xi Nian, the ground remained untouched—his bio-field extending even to protect the plaza itself.

Even Superman froze.

"Kal-El. Still don't remember who you are? Let me wake you up a little."

Xi Nian's voice was calm. His golden eyes glowed as his left hand tightened around Kal's fist. With a sudden motion, he swung upward—

Whooosh!

A whirlwind exploded outward as Superman was hurled into the sky, spinning out of control.

A passing white cloud shattered apart, sunlight breaking through to bathe Xi Nian in golden light.

Superman rocketed higher and higher—kilometers, then tens of kilometers—until he vanished beyond sight.

"Kal!" Supergirl cried out in alarm.

"Don't worry. He'll be fine," Xi Nian answered softly.

The next moment, his body vanished, leaving only a ring of white shockwave rippling out across the plaza.

At the same time, the cloud above dispersed completely.

Not even a second later—

Xi Nian appeared in the cold silence of outer space. His black cape whipped like a banner, the golden lasso fixed as a halo behind his head.

In the sunlight, his silver hair and divine aura glowed with golden brilliance.

At that moment, he was no longer just a man, but a god among mortals.

And behind him, the Earth revealed its full azure beauty.
