After Third Generation left, Yuichi didn't rush away.
While pretending to practice the Mist Shinobi Technique, he pondered.
Just now, Third Generation had very happily accepted his refusal to join ANBU. That was… unusual.
Clearly, the Hokage's suggestion to join ANBU wasn't merely for Yuichi's benefit—it was to maintain control over him. His refusal wasn't ignored; it was a test.
If Third Generation were truly strict, Yuichi would have been forced to leave Konoha.
But he wasn't. That meant… Third Generation had a next move planned.

Yuichi continued breathing out white mist.
To Third Generation, the Mist Shinobi Technique might seem useless, but Yuichi now valued it highly.
How many ANBU were in the village? Where exactly were they? Was he being monitored? Yuichi didn't know.
So vigilance within the village was necessary.
Outside the village, however, things were different.
Combine Body Flicker Technique with the Mist Shinobi Technique, and even ANBU couldn't track him.
At super high speed, with his location concealed by the mist, not even Third Generation could keep up.

And the daily selection wasn't limited to morning and afternoon. If not chosen now, it would trigger again in six hours.

Still long, but enough to catch an enemy off guard.
Next, Yuichi wanted to try casting a ninjutsu actively, without system assistance.
Previously, he hadn't realized it, but the system had been controlling his Chakra flow. What would happen if he tried to manage it himself?
He attempted Water Style: Water Turbulence.
He sealed his hands, controlling his Chakra while the system also assisted.
But the difference in control was massive—like a tortoise racing a lightning-fast rabbit.
The flow of Chakra became unstable, and the technique failed, causing a violent backlash.
Fortunately, his Wood-Style enhanced physique protected him from harm.
"The system's control of Chakra is already perfect. My interference disrupted it. I can't strengthen the technique—or even release it properly."
Active casting required reaching the system's level of mastery.
Yuichi refused to give up.
He tried again.
This time, focusing all his Chakra through Jieyin, he forced over half of it into his hands.
The water formed and shot out with a violent rush.
Shattering!
A dense forest ahead was instantly overwhelmed by the torrent, destroyed in an instant.
Yuichi observed the scale of destruction and smiled faintly.
"The power… is three times stronger than before!"
