Dante and Lyra went to the other section of the training hall to test the reflex of Kaios. They leave without waiting for Kaios, still fed up by his monstrous result.
Behind them Kaios is following like a lost puppy, without even knowing why is he being ignored by his parents.
Kaios thought to himself, as he followed them.
Why are they behaving towards me like this? Did I do something wrong? Did I break some rule or anything?
Not knowing his thoughts are not that far from the truth. Instead of breaking the rule he broke the line that is never broken by any other or may not be in the future.
All the three of them in their separate thought reach the equipment needed for the reflex testing.
The Equipment for the reflex test is in the shape of square, instead of rectangular shape of the GFC.
As Kaios reach after Lyra and Dante, Lyra announced, "This square like equipment is known as the KAV or Kinetic Amplifier Vault."
"You will enter the vault and small ball will be unleashed in it. Every time the ball collided with the wall of the Vault, its speed will increase. Hence the name, now go in it we have to test your reflex.", Lyra concluded her explanation.
Dante stood there ever composing, not uttering a single word. Many would think that he has no interested in the evaluation of his son but they could not be more wrong.
He is eagerly waiting to see the result of Kaios. Because he knows the result is going to be another spellbound result, but what he expecting is how much above the norm it will be.
Kaios heard the voice of Lyra and approached the door of the Vault, excited to experience the equipment by himself.
As Kaios entered the Vault Lyra ordered TRIS, the Ai of the training hall to start the KAV.
"TRIS start the KAV after the 5 second of Kaios entering and initiate the level from Stage 4.", Lyra ordered.

As the count down ended a ball suddenly appear in front of Kaios inside the Vault. Even if the Vault was appeared suddenly Kaios reacted to it, supported by his Stage 6 speed,
Kaios thought to himself as he is reacting to the ball. This is easy. Is this supported to this simple?
As Kaios was thinking this unaware of the hell, that he is going to experience in coming time.
After dodging the ball seven to eight time, Kaios felt some difficulty to dodge the next shots.

The ball just passed his face at hair length, as he collecting from this…...

The ball again passed him, but this time grazing his thigh slightly. He did not have even time to react that speed. It is his luck that the ball is missed.
But next time the luck did not side with him, as the hard ball came crashing with guts of his.
Argh…
But before he voiced it out the ball that just bounced of his gut after delivering that gut wrenching pain, crashed again with his right thigh. This makes Kaios knelling down on the floor of the KAV.
As he anticipated another painful assault, fortunately the ball never came.
What in the hell is that? How the hell I supposed to do it?
Kaios thought while groaning in pain from the assault of the ball.
On is the day Kaios will gain one of his PTSD —a trauma that would haunt him for years to come.
Kaios then stand up and approached the exit door of the Vault with great difficulty as his thigh is very injured, even though the pain was lessening with each passing step.
Kaios exited from the KAV and approached his parents, as he reached near them, he could swear that they have emotion of content all over their stature.
As true to his believe both Dante and Lyra were contented from watching his misery, even though they are not showing any emotion on outside.
So, it is unknown how Kaios could sense it.
"Hmm…. 100 Ms. Not bad.", Lyra said while holding a smirk.
Even though she was pained to see Kaios in agony, she remembered his monstrous adaptability and subtle flexing before. So, she was little happy with this.
After hearing result of Kaios, Dante spoke, "Not as overbearing as before, but it is excellent result. Kaios's reflex is on the level of a newly Stage 5 Awakened while in Stage 1."
Kaios's face twitched with annoyance as he listened to them.
I am at here in pain and all these both have in their mind is the result. Kaios muttered.
"Seriously Mom, Seriously Dad…", Kaios voiced his opinion.
"I am in pain and all the things you two have to say is about my assessment.", sounding annoyed.
"No, No, honey. We are talking how excellent are you. We are very proud of you.", Lyra said amiably while elbowing Dante to support.
"Yeah...yeah. As your Mom said, we are proud of you.", Dante said supporting Lyra.
Lyra said again, "Also you have too much Psion, so we thought you will already be okay."
"Yeah, you are right.", Kaios said not believing the slightest in the word his mother.
As both Lyra and Kaios are chatting, Dante said interrupting both of them.
"I think I found some other limitations aside from the previous with the large reservoir of Psion in your body."
Kaios asked. "What is it, Dad?"
Lyra also with same questioning gaze.
"As we all know his large IR (Internal Resonance) gave him increased adaptation,
but it has a limit to it, it is taking at least of five to seven second for it to work.", Dante said it in thoughtful look.
Then Lyra asked suddenly, "But we saw it is working in the GFC chamber with less time."
Dante nodded, "Yes but the other thing I noticed is that, he requires constant exposure for that to happen like in GFC."
"But unlike in GFC, the ball in KAV changed his speed constantly, so resetting his adaptation each time."
Hearing this both Lyra and Kaios understood more about condition of Kaios and the limitation of it.
This also highlights the battlefield experience of Dante. In battle where every second matter, you have to note every tiny detail so you can live to see another day.
"Okay two of you stop dreaming, we have one last but important test for Kaios.", Dante said breaking the stillness of Lyra and Kaios.
"What is this last test, Dad?", Kaios asked hearing this.
Before Dante could say anything. Lyra interrupted, "No talking, you will understand it as you get there."
"As your mom said, Son", Dante said while chuckling.
Kaios hunched in disappointment hearing this and follow behind his parents to other section for this mysterious test.
After some time, they reach near this equipment.
Looking at the equipment, Kaios felt he had seen it already,
This is looking same as that of in the Awakening Center, but slightly smaller than that probably. Kaios thought
"If you are thinking it is looking same as that of in Awakening Center you are right, but also wrong.", suddenly the voice of Lyra could be heard.
"It is a compact from of that, but it is used to measure the volatileness of Psion.", Lyra explained.
Dante said completing Lyra, "It is mainly used to check and measure the ER at the Stage 3 or 4."
"But in your case it will check the mutation of Psion."
"Now Get in it, I want to see the Psion activity in your body.", Lyra forced.
Kaios compiled and get to the Equipment, "Alright.."
As Kaios get into that the transparent upper lid closed.

Both Lyra and Dante waited outside feeling the resonation inside the machine. It used the same resonance principle to check on volatileness of Psion inside the body.
After some time, the result came out on the interface of Lyra as well Kaios from the equipment.
As Lyra checked the jaw dropped and look of surprise and some fear could be seen in her face.
