Neon reflections shimmered across the rain slick streets of Neon City, a thousand colors bleeding together into a surreal river of light. Hover cars hissed past on puddled asphalt, glowing billboards flickered above like they were in competition with the stars, and vendors barked out their wares from cramped stalls stuffed between crumbling walls. The city was alive, noisy, and merciless but for the first time in days, Jack noticed it in full.
He dragged his feet out of the warehouse he had been squatting in, the stench of rust, mold, and damp cardboard lingering in his nostrils. The same cracked walls, same squeaking rats, same leaking pipes. He stopped at the threshold, glancing back one last time.
"I can't stay in this dump anymore," Jack muttered, running a hand through his hair.
[DING!]
System Notification:Congratulations, you've unlocked a new side quest: Find Shelter.
Reward: +1000 Credits.
Failure: Continue living in rat paradise and a permanent drop in all stats by a minus one
Jack snorted. "Figures."
[System Response: At least this place had character. A strong rat kingdom aesthetic. You sure you want to give that up?]
"Yeah," Jack muttered, stepping out into the throbbing veins of Neon City. "I've had enough of broken windows and rats pissing on my clothes."
[System Response: Your first friends ;the rats.]
"Shut up."
For half a block, he debated something deeper. His eyes strayed toward the far edge of the city the silhouette of the orphanage he once called home;St helena's The thought tugged at him, bittersweet, and for a brief second he considered it.The familiar smell of disinfectant, the noises, the grating, moulding walls and of course the nuns who tried their best to run the place.
But he shook his head. "No. They've forgotten me by now. And I don't want to walk back in just to be a memory they already buried."
The city swallowed him again.
Jack's stomach rumbled, but this time not from hunger. It was the pulse of change, of finally getting somewhere better. Still, his current state was embarrassing: his shirt torn at the sleeve with blood stains all over, his pants faded to dull gray, his shoes barely holding together. If he was going to get a real place to stay, he couldn't look like a stray mutt.
That's how he ended up in front of "Stitch & Switch Clothing Co.", a rundown two-story store wedged between a noodle stall and a VR arcade that looked like it hadn't been updated since the last decade.
The display mannequins out front looked like they'd been through several wars, one of them missing a head, the other in a shirt that said "Sold" in bold neon letters that flickered weakly. The smell of mothballs and cheap fabric greeted him as soon as he stepped inside.
Jack smirked to himself. Rating: 2 out of 5. Not terrible, not great.
[System Response: At least you can go and change your terrible outwear in there;we both know that all the clothes in there are a thousand times better than what you are currently putting on.]
"Thanks for the mental boost, that pep talk was so comforting."
Inside, he found racks of affordable, if uninspired, streetwear. Plain hoodies, synthetic jeans, cheap leather jackets. The store clerk barely looked up from her magazine.Jack moved fast and grabbed a dark hoodie, fitted jeans a white shirt and boots that at least looked like they wouldn't dissolve in the rain.
By the time he walked out, his wallet was lighter.
-100 Credits,he now had only 50 credits left,he had to act fast.
He adjusted his new hoodie in a rain streaked shop window. Better. At least he didn't look like the city's trash anymore.
By nightfall, Jack reached the motel strip on the eastern side of Neon City. The towering skyscrapers of the inner districts gave way to cracked neon signs, dim lamps, and smaller establishments struggling to look glamorous but then one sign caught his eye:
"Azure Dreams Motel."
It wasn't glamorous. Its glowing blue sign buzzed slightly, some of the letters dimmer than others. The entrance was tiled in cheap faux-marble, and the faint smell of perfume tried to mask the city grit. But compared to his warehouse this was a serious improvement in living conditions."
"Rating: 3 out of 5," Jack muttered under his breath. "Not so bad, not so good either."
[System Response: At least it's still better than that rat infested place you used to sleep in.]
He stepped inside, shaking the rain from his hoodie. That's when he saw her.
As he pushed the door open, warmth hit him first, then her;the receptionist,Lila Myers from what he saw on her name tag.
Behind the counter sat a woman that made his chest seize for reasons that had nothing to do with nerves. The receptionist was stunning, heart stoppingly so. Curves that strained the fabric of her fitted blouse, a waist that drew the eye, long legs crossed gracefully beneath the desk, and an ass that made his pulse trip just by the outline visible as she shifted in her seat. Her breasts, full and round, pressed against her uniform like they wanted to burst free.
Her face was no less magnetic dark hair tied into a sleek ponytail, eyes that sparkled mischievously even in the dull glow of fluorescent lights, perfect, round, pink, lips ,a Sharp jawline and lips that curled into a slow, knowing smile as soon as she noticed Jack staring a second too long.
Her breasts pressed against the fabric in a way that seemed almost deliberate, her waist narrow, her hips wide, and her ass… impossibly full barely contained by the short skirt she was putting on even as she shifted in her chair.
Jack swallowed hard. He'd fought thugs, bled in the streets, and survived hunger but this? This was a new territory.
[System Notification: ALERT. Virgin Jack has encountered a high-level Curvy Receptionist. Caution: -95% coolness detected.]
Jack coughed into his fist. "Shut up."
Her lips curved into a smile the moment their eyes met, a playful spark lighting them. "Welcome to Azure Dreams. Sir, do you want to pay for a room?"
Not condescending. Not dismissive. Flirty. Respectful. And Jack, for a moment, was speechless.
He forced his voice steady. "Yeah. How much for the most expensive room here?"
Her brows lifted slightly, surprise flickering in her eyes, though her smile didn't falter. "The most expensive? That would be our top suite. 1000 credits… per week."
Jack blinked. A thousand? He barely had a fraction left after clothes. But then
[DING!]
Quest Completed: Find Shelter.
Reward: +1000 Credits.
The digital clink of fresh currency echoed in his ears. His balance ticked upward just in time.
Jack smirked, leaning forward slightly on the counter. "Perfect. I'll take it for a week."
Her lips parted in genuine shock this time, before her expression smoothed into something silkier impressed, even. "Well… looks like someone knows how to treat himself."
[System Response: Jackpot. She's impressed. Proceed carefully, Romeo.]
The moment was broken by laughter from the lobby doors. Jack turned.
They strolled in like they owned the place, Maya clutching Marcus's arm, her eyes instantly widening when they fell on Jack and then they fell just not able to meet his eye,Marcus sneered.
"Oh, look who it is. Poor little Jack," Marcus mocked, his voice dripping venom. "Did you come here to beg? Maybe bargain for a spot on the motel's porch?,too sad you were rejected."
Lila's expression darkened. She straightened behind the counter, her voice sharp. "That man just paid for the most expensive room in this motel. If you keep disrespecting him, I'll have you both thrown out."
Marcus blinked. "What?"
Jack turned fully, stepping closer, voice calm but edged with amusement. "Guess things change fast, huh?" "Well it was nice running into the hotels two new cleaners."
Marcus froze. His face twisted with rage. He swung a punch at Jack.
But Jack didn't even need his powers. He caught Marcus's fist, twisted, and slammed him face down onto the lobby floor not before giving him a punch that was insanely satisfying Gasps filled the room. Maya shrieked, her perfect face paling.
The entire lobby went quiet.
Lila didn't even hesitate. "Security!"
Within moments, two burly guards hauled Marcus and Maya out the door. Jack watched them struggle and curse before the doors slammed shut. Then he looked Maya directly in the eye and said it calmly with a composed expression see you later slut."
Silence. Then;
"You were incredible," Lila said, her voice low, admiration glinting in her eyes. She stepped closer, her perfume surrounding him. "And… bold."
The moment the door slammed shut, silence filled the lobby except for the sound of Lila's heels clicking across the floor as she approached Jack.
Her smirk returned, softer this time, playful. Without hesitation, she reached up, grabbed the collar of his jacket, and pulled him down into a kiss.
It wasn't gentle. It was fire. Her lips pressed hard against his, her body warm and soft against his chest, her curves molding perfectly against him. Jack's brain short circuited; his hands hovered awkwardly before finally finding her waist, gripping the curve of her hips. She twisted of mint and neon lit temptation.
Jack groaned against her mouth, ecstasy filling every pore in her body,he was so excited he felt like he could blow .His heart thundered in his chest, his mind a storm of nerves and desire, slowly he reached and grabbed her perfect round boobs, and then she moaned rich, thick and sultry, the sound alone was divine.
Jack felt like he was in heaven and then he slowly reached down and inserted his fingers into her skirt,he gripped her thighs exploring and then he came to her soft delicate folds, she was so wet, screaming his name like it was the only thing she could pronounce but then just as things were about to spiral further.
A customer entered, breaking the moment, she smiled professionally, cheeks faintly flushed and returned to her desk but her face betrayed her,it was obvious she wanted more.Jack was left reeling.
Lila smoothed her blouse, her smirk unbothered. She leaned close, whispering in Jack's ear, "Later. This isn't over."
[System Notification: New Hidden Quest Unlocked ]
Objective:Lose your virginity by the end of this week
Reward: ????????
Failure:??????????
Jack groaned, half annoyed, half excited. Of course the system would butt in now.
Minutes later, he inserted his key card and entered his room. Room 7 c was meager,it wasn't too big neither was it too small.painted with his favourite colour red.It wasn't anything legendary a wonderfully, large cleanly made bed,a holo screen, a small fridge stocked with cheap drinks. Not perfect, but compared to the warehouse? A palace.
Jack tossed his hoodie aside and collapsed into the bed, sinking into the soft mattress with a groan."
The System's voice chimed again, smug.
[System Notice: Congratulations, Jack. You are no longer homeless. However, you are still painfully,a virgin.]
Jack groaned into the pillow, his voice muffled. "Shut up."
Half annoyed, half trembling with restless excitement, he lay there in the dark but not with hunger this time, not pain. But something new.
Desire.
Tomorrow night, he knew, things would change.
