Chapter 171 - Cap.158 - Ames' interest

On Black Spider's side, he didn't leave after recruiting two members, as Vanessa and Korak were still on a job, so he decided to stay on the Godorian ship to finish it, otherwise it would leave a bad mark on their mercenary resume.

It wasn't very important, but Juberly Hub was located in Godora's territory, so going with them didn't interfere with Black Spider's plans.

The commander was very pleased with this, and after contacting Godora, the escort mission was extended to Triple Six. The money was laughable to him, but the reputation still existed, however small.

In any case, when Rick woke up and found out about the event, he was so happy that he literally cried, then was sent flying by Korak after saying something that sounded "innocently offensive" to Vanessa.

Vanessa was worried about this event, but the reaction from the Triple Six members was unexpected.

Black Spider laughed openly, Trax mocked, telling Korak that he should hit harder, and Slugcat looked somewhere between confused and curious.

In the end, Vanessa would take some time to adjust to the relaxed atmosphere of the Triple Six.

But while the group was "forming friendships", Ringo had his own problems.

He needed to open the magic padlock where the source of the mutation was located, and he needed to fix Black Spider's bow.

Once again, he found himself with few hands to use.

His target was Bradd, that old man was so powerful, he should know how to open that magic lock, plus he could fix the bow of a thousand stars, but the problem remained: who should he send?

Thoughtfully, he decided to go himself, but he would feel uncomfortable without getting a beating from Dragon Mommy, so...

-Do you want me to go visit Austin?- Ames asked, confused, sensing that Ringo continued to give her strange surprises.

-Actually, I need to fix some equipment and open a magic lock.- Ringo explained, showing the damaged bow and the item he said he took from the Dark Star. He just didn't say he knew what was inside, he simply found it on the Dark Star's ship and took it.

Of course, he did it on purpose, if he knew Ames well, he knew her reaction. As expected, Ames looked curious as she floated the black sphere in front of her, she picked it up and rolled it in her hands.

-I could crush it to open it.- She suggested.

-The items inside will be destroyed.- Ringo rolled his eyes.

Ames pursed her lips into a tiny pout, but in the end threw the sphere back to Ringo. -Alright, I want to know what's inside too. Besides, I haven't messed with Austin in a long time, let's pay him a visit!

Ringo's lips trembled, he imagined that if Austin could hear her, he would have an expression somewhere between laughing and crying.

They didn't linger long after deciding, Ames brought Aesop along with her, still suspicious that the man might suddenly run away.

Ringo, on the other hand, didn't take anyone with him, but left the souls he collected from the Dark Star for Hila. The woman didn't say much, she only hoped to grow stronger quickly and repay Ringo.

Eva wanted to go along, believing there would be combat along the way, but Ringo punctured her bubble, and with Ames nearby, the chance of anyone attacking them was practically zero, so he made her give up.

Finally, Ringo, Aesop, and Ames boarded the woman's spaceship and headed toward Austin.

At that point, Ames even received a call from Austin, who suggested that going to meet Psyker was a better destination for Ames, but she simply ignored him, much to Austin's dismay.

Even though Austin wasn't a seer, he had studied fate magic to the point that when something was related to him, he could still see a glimpse of the reason.

Thus, he sensed Ames' arrival, but unfortunately he was unable to prevent it. Sure, he could simply "escape" to a secondary dimension for a few days, with the excuse of collecting materials.

However, Ames was never known for her patience, if he ran away from her, the problems that would come wouldn't be worth it, so he could only train with her "willingly".

As for why he didn't sense when Ames found him with Aesop, firstly they weren't after Austin, but rather Aesop. Secondly, they were after the Hidden Nightmare, although that ability isn't strong enough to hide from a BGA mage yet, Austin wasn't a true seer.

Ultimately, both reasons contributed to Austin being left in the dark.

This time, not only were they directly behind Austin, but Ringo didn't use Hidden Nightmare, so Austin sensed it immediately.

Thus, Ringo was traveling with Ames to Austin, one clone was heading towards Dark Star headquarters, Black Spider was heading towards Juberly Hub with two new members, only two clones remained quiet, the clone in Kandor searching for Maktru and the clone with Emma on planet Xenomorph 1.

Ringo was especially busy during that period.

Meanwhile, on Aquamarine's side, a group had just arrived at Hell's headquarters.
