(Ringo clone's POV)
The intelligence officer was asleep, and it was at this point that Ringo truly began to delve into the man's memories and increase his control over him.
Sure, he maintained the Hidden Nightmare status the whole time, and although Dark Star isn't very powerful, it still possesses Grade A individuals, more than one, plus the leader of Dark Star is a Mage.
In the original series, Dark Star emerged as a space-based alternative to Germinal, the model is practically the same, so much so that it's clear the two were essentially the same thing with different characters.
The leader of Germinal is a guy who wants revenge on the six nations because they destroyed his former country, and the leader of Dark Star wants revenge on Godora for being a xenophobic jerk.
The leader of Germinal "created" an organization that operates mostly in the shadows, acting against the six nations, the leader of Dark Star remains in the shadows while attacking Godora.
The leader of Germinal dies talking to Han Xiao, it was practically Han Xiao who caused his death. The leader of Dark Star dies talking to Han Xiao, asking Han to kill him.
In short... there are several of these small coincidences, but it became clear that the author used the same model from Germinal in Dark Star.
In any case, Ringo isn't interested in the similarities between the two organizations, he's interested in something else.
Inherit the Dark Star.
More precisely, to do with Dark Star what he did with Germinal.
First, there are many useful characters on Dark Star, including Grade A, a change of appearance and ideology, and presto, a combatant ready for use in minutes.
Brutal criminals will be sent as fertilizer for the Xenomorphs and Demogorgon, and if he manages to get a gene extractor, he can create various potions from some Supers with good abilities.
Dark Star's spaceships have such advanced stealth devices that not even Godora can find them, a variety of spaceships are ready to choose from.
That's just what Ringo can think, but he knows he'll find even more surprises when he gets all that cake.
But Ringo wasn't planning on acting now, the reason is simple, Han Xiao.
His journey against Dark Star gave him several initial advantages that helped him grow faster. He hasn't forgotten that Han Xiao is a key to escaping this shitty "universe". As his intelligence increases, he remembers more and more about the TLM plot, so he's ready to help Han Xiao grow.
Not because he wants to, but because he needs to.
Sure, Han Xiao can grow even without the Dark Star, but that could greatly affect his development and ultimately lead to his premature death. If Han Xiao dies, Ringo doesn't even know if he'd be able to escape, so he needs to ensure Han Xiao's continued growth.
Of course, he won't act as a constant babysitter, he just needs to ensure that Han Xiao's trajectory remains correct.
Thus, the plan needs to be postponed, while Ringo's clone will slowly work to take over the Dark Star, controlling key figures, shifting the loyalties of the rank-and-file soldiers, and marking those who don't even deserve to be controlled.
When Han Xiao is finished playing with the Dark Star, Ringo will appear and "save the day" killing a part of the Dark Star to use as proof, and the rest he just needs to change his appearance and assimilate into Hell.
Without losing a single warship, he will absorb everything.
Ringo's mood improved considerably, but this led to another problem.
The clone that was supposed to be on Aquamarine was now on Dark Star.
His real body needed to remain on the floating Dragon, a clone was in Kandor acquiring Maktru, another was with Emma keeping the mental parasite under control, and the last was the Black Spider, who needed to manage the mercenary group.
So Ringo was momentarily lost, he had let Black Spider leave Kandor because he had managed to get another clone to take his place. Maktru was extremely valuable, and Ringo was very good at finding it, so losing this source of free minerals was not part of his plan.
Kandor's clone couldn't move.
The clone with Emma remained on planet Xenomorph 1, along with Black Spider, but Black Spider couldn't stay on Aquamarine, so only he and the clone with Emma were left.
Deep in thought, Ringo had a headache.
Leaving the base on Aquamarine unprotected wasn't feasible, but at the same time he needed to stay with Ames for training. Should he let the clone with Emma return to Aquamarine?
But then Parasite would be a nuisance.
As for taking Emma with him? It wouldn't work, Emma had a lot of work on Xenomorph 1 and she also helped with all sorts of things, Planet Xenomorph 1 couldn't be abandoned.
Thus, Ringo found himself in a dilemma. For a while, he usually possessed more clones than he needed, this time he could only let the clone with Emma go to Aquamarine occasionally to help Melissa and Li with their training. The rest of the time he would still spend on Planet Xenomorph 1.
That is, until he gets a new clone.
