The Devourer of Planets couldn't believe what he was seeing.A mere Heavenly Father-level human… possessing spiritual power greater and more refined than his own?
"What a joke. What kind of monster is this!?"
The vast cosmos trembled as the two forces clashed.
Xu Fu, standing opposite the cosmic titan, suddenly felt a strange psychic wave ripple through his power.It wasn't enough to shake his foundation — just a flicker, a faint vibration.
He didn't care.
That ripple was clearly the mental strike of the Devourer of Planets.Yet, Xu Fu couldn't help but feel puzzled.
That's it?Such a weak charge? That can't be all he's got.
"Devourer of Planets," Xu Fu said calmly, "how much power do you actually have? Why can't I feel it?"
His expression hardened. "If you won't attack—then I will."
His body blurred. A glint of icy light flashed—the Illusory Slashing Sword cut through the void, leaving behind only a cold shadow.Within that streak flowed an intense surge of spatial energy.
With the divine power of Nabu enhancing it, that strike carried the force to kill gods.
It slashed straight toward the core of the Devourer's essence.
The Devourer of Planets was not one to take such an attack lightly.Violent energy gathered before his eyes like an ocean tide.
At first, Xu Fu's Illusory Slash didn't seem to cause any serious damage.So he shifted tactics.
Beneath the calm veneer of Nabu's divine aura, he concealed something deadly — the Phoenix Stone.
That crystal had been a gift from Professor X and the remnants of the Mutant Academy, given in exchange for Xu Fu's help long ago.At the time, Xu Fu hadn't dared to absorb its violent energy — not when the tragic example of Phoenix Jean Grey still burned vividly in his mind.
Even though Xu Fu was vastly stronger than Jean, he wasn't reckless.
After all, the Phoenix Force was one of the primordial powers of the Marvel universe itself.
Only after mastering his connection to cosmic energy did Xu Fu slowly begin refining it—bit by bit—until all that remained was a small empty shell.
But even that hollow shell of the Phoenix still contained enough destructive energy to obliterate the entire solar system.
And now, Xu Fu drew it forth—his final trump card.
However, the Devourer of Planets, blinded by arrogance, didn't even notice.
Only when the burning shard of the Phoenix pierced the edge of his soul did he finally sense it—too late.His vast, black mist-shrouded form trembled violently, his will quaking in panic.
But the strike had already landed.
Xu Fu bared his teeth in a grim smile.
The Phoenix Stone tore through space and plunged directly into the Devourer's soul.
BOOM!
Xu Fu felt a terrifying force erupt — and then vanish, completely devoured and annihilated.Even he felt a chill crawl up his spine.
He instantly severed his connection to the Phoenix energy, cutting off the feedback before it could swallow him too.But even so, a trace of divine power remained, triggering a final explosion.
The Phoenix Stone detonated within the Devourer's soul.
KRAA-BOOM!
In the endless expanse of stars, light surged like a tidal wave.For a moment, it seemed as if even the Milky Way's rotation had reversed.
Xu Fu narrowed his eyes.The blast was massive, but not enough to completely destroy a being of the Devourer's level — one of the Five Great Creation Gods.
Sure enough, the next instant, the Devourer's colossal body trembled violently.
"You dare use such reckless, blasphemous tricks? Wasting the last vestiges of the Phoenix Force!?"
His enraged thought thundered across space.
Then, his gigantic form began collapsing in on itself—Energy, body, and essence, all imploding toward a single point.
The Devourer's howl echoed across the stars.
Xu Fu simply watched, shaking his head.Of the Five Great Gods, the Devourer of Planets was both one of the strongest—and one of the weakest.
Within his body was a dying universe, endlessly draining his vitality and mind.That was why he had to consume planets periodically, to survive.
Now, Xu Fu's attack had reversed that inner cycle.The Devourer's own power was consuming him.
But Xu Fu showed no mercy.
"Heh," he sneered, "today, I'll earn myself a new title—God Butcher."
His eyes blazed coldly.The green light gathered at his palm, swirling with fierce intent.
Then, with a roar, he unleashed it.
BOOM!
A giant hammer of emerald light materialized, lighting up the starry sea like a second sun.
Xu Fu took a deep breath, his Nabu divine power surging.He shifted through countless forms in rapid succession, combining his might with the hammer's energy.
With his current strength, every swing could destroy a planet.
The Hammer of Green Light descended, its blinding glow flooding the heavens.Red and green pillars of energy erupted, slamming into the shrinking Devourer.
The impact vaporized everything nearby.The Devourer's vast body convulsed violently, torrents of black mist pouring from his wounds.His enormous form disintegrated further, fragment by fragment.
The lingering red-green energy storms raged across the cosmic battlefield.Xu Fu frowned.
Still not enough…
The Hammer of Green Light hadn't yet released even half its true power.Perhaps it was time to break the internal seal and unleash its full potential.
The power of imagination — when magnified — was limitless.
Across from him, the Devourer of Planets still clung to a spark of life.He hadn't perished yet.
Inside that colossal frame wasn't a normal body — but an entire fallen universe, one that had sunk into oblivion in the previous era.The energy contained within it could rival a multiverse itself.
So it was no surprise Xu Fu's attack hadn't yet erased him completely.
But Xu Fu wasn't discouraged.
With a flick of his hand, golden light burst forth.A terrifying six-pointed diagram unfolded before him.
In just a few breaths, the Hexagram from the Supreme Magic Book's Forbidden Array spread across tens of millions of stars.At its center — the Devourer of Planets.
Cosmic energy surged, churning violently through the god's collapsing form.Some of that power… even Xu Fu could sense something uncanny about it.
But he didn't let it escape.The array twisted, absorbing everything — drawing in the Devourer's remaining strength.
And soon, the once-vast Devourer of Planets had shrunk to less than one-fifth of his original size.
