Chapter 66 - [66] : Leave Everything You've Got!

Kozuki Oden charged like a rampaging bull, pure fighting spirit blazing in his eyes, completely ignoring the "what the hell" expressions on the Roger Pirates' faces.

Several quick-reacting crew members roared as they drew their weapons to intercept him, but were casually swept aside by his reverse-gripped twin swords.

The blades drew no blood, but their brutal impact left the men's bones and muscles numb as they tumbled through the air into the sand, unable to get up for quite a while.

"Gungnir: Mimicking Oni!"

Oden laughed heartily, his twin swords Ame no Habakiri and Enma dancing like two streaks of black lightning. He didn't even look at who was in front of him—he simply wanted to smash everything and steal their treasure!

"Is this guy... a monster?" Buggy hid behind the rocks, so scared even his red nose had gone pale.

Scopper Gaban hefted his twin axes, looking at Rayleigh beside him: "Stop him quick, Rayleigh. If we let him keep this up, someone's gonna get hurt."

"You're right." Rayleigh adjusted his glasses, his right hand already gripping his sword hilt, a cold glint flashing beneath his lenses.

Just as the two prepared to work together to subdue this unwelcome guest, a figure shot past them at even greater speed, whipping up a fierce wind.

"Rayleigh, Scopper Gaban, let me handle this!" Roger excitedly stepped in front of them, turning back to flash his white teeth in a dazzling smile. "Can't have you two getting hurt!"

Rayleigh's hand instantly relaxed on his sword hilt, the corner of his mouth twitching almost imperceptibly.

You just want to fight, don't you, Roger.

He mentally grumbled, taking a step back.

Seeing yet another tall figure blocking his path, Oden's excitement only grew. He raised his twin swords, his momentum climbing even higher, ready to cut down this seemingly strongest opponent too.

"Hello there, samurai!"

The next second, Roger drew Ace and swung it forward with tremendous force.

"Divine Departure!"

A visible slash wrapped in black-red Conqueror's Haki lightning swept out at incomprehensible speed.

It wasn't just a slash—it was pure, refined Haki concentrated to its absolute limit!

"What the—"

Oden's frenzied smile instantly froze, his pupils shrinking rapidly. Before he could even cross his swords to block, that destructive force slammed squarely into his chest.

"BOOM—!!!"

Oden was like a man hit head-on by an invisible sledgehammer, flying backward like a kite with its string cut.

He smashed through the first coconut tree at the beach's edge, his momentum undiminished as he crashed through seven or eight more massive trees behind it, finally embedding himself deep in a boulder in the jungle depths with an earth-shaking crash.

Dust filled the air, broken wood flew everywhere.

Kyle leaned against the coconut tree, his sunglasses sliding down to his nose tip. He silently adjusted them, his thoughts racing:

Good! Very spirited—don't disgrace the Kozuki name!

Divine Departure? I'm not dodging—Oden's doing the ultimate dodge!

From deep in the jungle came sounds of struggle from the rock crevices.

Kozuki Oden staggered out, a striking trickle of blood at the corner of his mouth. He looked at his chest in disbelief, then raised his head toward Roger in the distance.

"You've got to be kidding me..."

Just one attack had done this to him?

But this intense pain didn't make him afraid—instead, it ignited an even more blazing flame in his samurai soul.

"OHHHHH!"

Oden let out a beast-like roar, ignoring his injuries as his legs powered up again, charging toward Roger once more.

"Oden!" Marco and the others cried out from the distance.

Just then, an even more massive shadow fell over the entire beach.

"Gurararara!"

Thunder-like laughter descended from above as Edward Newgate's towering frame plummeted like a meteor!

He didn't look at his troublesome "little brother," his hawk-like eyes locked firmly on Roger.

Without unnecessary words, he gripped Murakumogiri with both hands, muscles bulging as he brought it down on Roger's head.

This strike carried tremendous force, as if it could split the entire island in two!

"Newgate!"

Roger's smile grew even wilder—the pure joy of meeting a worthy opponent, coming from the depths of his soul.

Facing this world-destroying attack, Roger neither dodged nor retreated, but instead stepped forward aggressively.

"CRACK—"

The ground beneath his feet instantly filled with spiderweb cracks as he swung his blade upward to meet Whitebeard's naginata.

Two supreme grade blades met in midair.

No, they didn't meet!

At a distance of several dozen centimeters, they stopped.

An even more terrifying force exploded between the two divine weapons. Black-red Conqueror's Haki lightning frantically crossed and collided, forming a visible energy sphere that emitted an ear-piercing shriek.

The sky seemed torn apart in that moment.

BOOM!!

After the tremendous crash came a shockwave that swept everything away.

Violent air currents spread in all directions from the two men as the center, carving a massive chasm in the beach beneath their feet, uprooting surrounding trees and hurling them skyward.

Members of both the Roger Pirates and Whitebeard Pirates were blown every which way by this force, with the weaker ones sent flying outright.

I've got to sit up for this!

Kyle sat up, staring intently at the two men in the storm's center. The violent air currents dissipated into nothingness around him, forming a vacuum zone around his body.

Ahem... can't mess up the hair!

...

The shockwave's aftermath finally faded, the torn sky hanging like a torn cloth, unable to heal for a long time.

The ground looked like a giant had viciously scooped out a chunk with a spoon, leaving a shocking crater.

Whether the Roger Pirates' elite or the Whitebeard Pirates' commanders, all now wore solemn expressions, gripping their respective weapons, their gazes locked firmly on the two men at the storm's center.

After their single exchange, Roger and Whitebeard stood holding their blades, the cracked earth beneath their feet.

"Gurararara..." Whitebeard grinned, his signature crescent-shaped mustache curling upward. "Looking lively, Roger."

Roger rested Ace on his shoulder, wearing an equally wild and unrestrained smile. "How many years has it been, Newgate?"

As soon as the words left his mouth, both men seemed to reach some understanding, simultaneously bursting into thunderous laughter.

"Gu ha ha ha!"

"Gurararara!"

Their laughter was filled with the joy of reunion and the highest recognition of each other's strength.

This wasn't a standoff between enemies—it was more like two old friends who hadn't seen each other in ages, greeting each other in the most direct, most savage way possible.

The laughter stopped abruptly.

The next second, the two sea emperors spoke almost simultaneously, addressing each other with the ultimate pirate greeting in equally non-negotiable tones.

"Leave everything you've got!"

"Leave everything you've got!"
