Chapter 11 - 011. Divisions

Cheryl found everything the man said absurd, but who was he to object? It wasn't any of his business since it didn't concern him. The only thing clouding his mind was his training and how he would get stronger in the academy, nothing more or else.

"Looks like you two will have to stay with me until I find your guardians." He said to the twins, slinging his bag behind his shoulders before grabbing their hands.

"Alright then, let's go." He pulled them with him as they went to the next room to meet the seniors to guide them to their different dorms.

"Stay close to me, and don't let go of my hand." He warned, noticing the crowd in the room.

'I hope their guardians find them soon, so I won't be worrying so much about them.' He hoped, glancing around for any familiar face.

Sometimes in life, what we wish for actually does come to us, and sometimes it comes as what we least expect it to be.

"Excuse me, but those kids are with me." A female voice spoke from behind him, grabbing his attention.

He turned around at the sound of the voice behind him, briefly letting go of the twins to fix his bag properly.

"Good day, are you their guardian?." He asked, observing the female standing before him.

"Yes, I am, and who might you be to hold them like that? Do you know who they are or which family they belong to?." She asked, slightly sounding annoyed.

"Ohh, sorry for not introducing myself. I am…" he began but immediately got cut off by a hand gesture from her.

"Never mind it, I don't want to know anything relating to you. If you want to hold them that much, in your next life, be born into a rich family." She said plainly without even hearing him out.

He was almost forced to actually say his family's name, but he instead pulled back, being the mature one in the conversation, he let her say what she wanted to without replying to her words until she was done.

"Okay, ma, if you're done. Please take good care of the twins since they're in your care now. Otherwise, their father won't take it lightly with you." He advised her, handing the twins over to her, as their guardian.

"Oh please, don't tell me how to do my job." She yelled, yanking the twins from him.

He patted both their heads, rubbing their hair carefully with a smile on his face.

"Now, don't be bad kids to your guardian, alright?" He muffled to the twins before he turned to leave.

"Good bye, big brother Cheryl!" Alec called out, waving at Cheryl as he walked away.

Cheryl simply scoffed, waving back at Alec, as he saw the look on the woman's face when she heard the words from Alec's mouth.

'Some people don't deserve some certain things,' he sighed, making his way toward the gathering ahead.

He stood by the crowd, forcing his way to the front to hear the announcement they were making at the front.

By the time he arrived at the front, they were almost done with the announcement, but he managed to grab some words before they concluded.

"So, from what we have said. If you awakened an A tier ability, follow me." One senior announced, moving ahead towards the left of the room.

A large number of students followed him behind, while the rest stayed behind to listen to the remaining calls for their assigned senior.

"If you awakened a B tier ability, follow me." Another senior, darker in complexion compared to the first senior announced, going ahead with the assigned crowd of students.

"If you awakened a C tier ability, come this way so we can start advancing to your dormitories." He announced, gesturing to the area he pointed out.

By the third tier of abilities, half of the crowd of students had already left to their various dorms with their assigned seniors.

The remaining students weren't much. Almost a handful of them were still waiting for their calls and assigned senior.

"Okay, you know the next tier. If you awakened a D tier ability, follow me, and please do not waste my time, I have way more important things to do with my time." a female senior announced with a frown on her face.

'I'm glad she's not my assigned senior. She sounds like a problem. The time to give a lot of headaches to please or get to even give a lecture about certain things.' He shrugged, watching her movements as she walked past him without even waiting for her assigned students.

Most of them had to run after her, or they would be lost until the orientation day. That's the one thing the academy obviously wanted to avoid by assigning the seniors to them.

'Oh well.' He turned to the remaining male seniors standing confidently.

'Wait, why are there two seniors left when E tier ability is the remaining tier? What's the other senior for? "

"Well, students, I'm guessing the remaining of you awakened E tier abilities, or is their an exception among you all? Like an S or Ex tier ability?." one of the seniors asked.

"I have an S tier ability," one student raised his hand, grabbing the attention of the remaining students.

'Wow, now that's a rare one. He must be extremely lucky!'

"Alright then, any other person?." the senior asked, hoping for another response.

One student walked forward toward the senior and whispered something into his ear. He nodded and then raised his head to the remaining crowd.

"Well, since their aren't any more of you guys, let's go." He announced, taking them to the middle door coated with gold handles and designs.

'I see what he was now, that's why he waited to the ending because S and Ex tier abilities are the rarest to awaken, he probably wasn't even expecting anyone to awaken it.' He understood, nodding his head as he watched them leave.

The remaining students were obviously E tier ability users, anyone lower would be an F tier ability user and you have to have wicked bad luck to awaken something as low as that because that practically means you're a normal human being.

"Well, the rest of y'all, let's head out then." The last senior announced, taking them toward a bronze colored door by the end of the large room.

'I guess this is where it all begins.'
