Chapter 8 - Chapter : 8 : Jarvis

All the experts were stunned on the spot. The response rang clearly in everyone's mind. It was a single, unanimous reaction: AI. Artificial intelligence. And not just basic AI, this was fully realized, advanced intelligence. Not some simple, low-level learning software. No low-level system could ever replicate that.

"I'm a little dizzy..." One expert murmured.

"Terra's current artificial intelligence has only reached the intermediate level after centuries of development," Another said.

"The most advanced AI today is the super-intelligent system developed last year."

"His creation surpassed all previous research in generative AI. It can compose songs, write poems, and even generate inspiration seemingly from nowhere."

"This Jarvis… its intelligence is beyond anything we can imagine!"

"Tony developed artificial intelligence on his own?! One person… this is a monster genius!"

"How did he even do it?"

"The key question: does everyone have access to this AI, or only his team?"

"The three pillars of AI, massive databases and computing power, environmental perception and human interaction, adaptive learning and iterative improvement, each one is extremely difficult to master."

"But it's not just the AI. The entire system we just saw, its graphical interface, holographic displays, are remarkable on their own."

"So many high-tech innovations packed into a small studio!"

"Tony is a genius," Muttered the director, unable to remain seated.

In Terra's history, AI of this level had rarely appeared. The director felt a chill run through him.

"If an intelligence of this caliber…" His voice faltered as a terrifying thought surged uncontrollably. He reached for water to calm himself, but his hands shook so violently that the cup shattered.

The assistant rushed over, "Director, are you alright?"

The director waved him off hoarsely. "No, it's fine. Go back to your work."

He stared out the window, frozen in horror, "Could it be… Terra…"

The appearance of such AI, coupled with all the futuristic tech in the studio, stunned the viewers. Everyone dreamed of sci-fi technology. They wanted to see it, all of it: multi-screen linkages, 3-D holograms, interactive interfaces.

On the forum, a tech-savvy user posted screenshots from the Immortal Warrior capture screen. The post, showing multi-screen interactions, quickly became the most-liked entry.

"I love it!" One commenter wrote.

"AI, real AI! Not something like my classmate app!"

"How much is that workstation worth? At least a few million?"

"Millions? With the old monetary system, maybe tens of millions!"

"Look at all the tech!"

"What's he planning to do?"

"Mark 2? From the graphics, it's a mech?"

"Continue improving the mech? Don't get your hopes up," Another expert warned.

"Indeed. With so much high-tech equipment, it makes more sense to focus on the weapons themselves, not the mech."

"If he could gain the AI capability, the impact would be immense."

"This technology is extremely expensive."

"That apartment-scale reactor is impressive."

"My team has begun R&D. We'll report progress when there's news," An official added.

In the expert group, the military contractors were skeptical about Tony's self-made mech. Currently, the mech's combat power wasn't extraordinary; it was mostly a target in battle. The only notable features were the reactor supplying energy and the two-legged jet propulsion system that had caused a recent explosion.

Johan squinted at the live broadcast. "I want to know what period this is."

[Tony manipulated a 3-D 3-blueprint on the device. "Save it to my personal server."]

[ Jarvis said, "So it's a secret project, sir?" ]

[ Tony didn't answer. He rearranged parts in the 3D model, discarding some into the virtual trash, "I don't want anyone to know. Maybe I can make something great here." ]

[ The clunky Mark 1 became sleeker after Tony's adjustments. ]

Viewers were awestruck.

"Yes! This is real AI."

"Jarvis can interpret Tony's instructions contextually. That's true cognition, beyond ordinary intelligent systems."

"The display and control system is insanely cool."

"That's the original bulky mech? He's refining it."

"Which historical period is this? Why are there inconsistencies?"

"I don't know. It seems normal to me now?"

"The giant whale from the beginning, is that fake? Or is there more?"

"Check the forum, one post is enough to blow up the discussion!"

"I saw it. Tony is unbelievable!"
