Lego finished his boxing workout, took a shower to wash off the grime, and got his schoolbag ready.
He caught a bus and sat by the window. The streets and people weren't much different from his old world, except they were far more advanced, boasting high-tech gadgets Lego had never seen before.
The bus stopped at the school gate, and Lego stepped off.
"Oh, it's Lego! He's back!" The voice came from a chubby guy.
Kai walked straight up to Lego, a smile on his face, and patted his shoulder. "You're pretty brave, you know? I heard people say you even dared to hit the teacher! Our teacher is an awakened superpower user. You really must have a death wish!"
The chubby guy leaned close to Lego's face and said, "Tell me, what did you eat that day that made you go so crazy? Were you on drugs? A lot happened while I was out of school," Kai said, his eyes crinkling in a smile.
Lego pushed the plump Kai away and snapped, "Get lost!"
Kai was one of Lego's close friends in this world.
"Oh, look, it's our F-grade test-taker. He can still come to school! Why don't you just drop out and be your dad's lackey? Oh, wait, I forgot—your dad's a lackey too." A mocking voice rang out. It was Leo, a bully who often picked on Lego and was also his love rival.
"Damn these bastards!" Lego was about to charge in and fight, but Kai held him back.
"This is the schoolyard. There are lots of people and even teachers around."
Kai was quite surprised by Lego's current personality. He hadn't believed it when he heard Lego dared to hit a teacher.
"You used to be so timid. What happened to you?" Kai asked with a puzzled expression.
Leo looked Lego directly in the face and said, "You should also get out of Mina's sight. She's about to be my girlfriend. Stop following her around and giving her gifts. Your cheap stuff belongs in the trash."
Kai pulled Lego toward the classroom.
Lego was furious, muttering to himself, "Damn it, that was the original body's owner, not me. I don't need those kinds of worthless women."
He even dared to insult Lego's father. He struggled to suppress the anger bubbling inside him.
Sitting in class, Kai leaned towards Lego's desk and quietly asked, "Are you okay? You seem more hot-tempered than before."
Lego turned his head, his face creased in a frown, and said, "What do you mean 'okay'? Do you want to go fight later?"
"Fight... fight who? Don't tell me you want to fight Leo," Kai stammered in reply.
"Are you scared? Then I'll go alone."
Kai was slightly stunned by Lego. He secretly wondered, Am I more timid than him?
He forgot that Kai grew up in a family with a notorious gang background.
Hearing those words, Kai chuckled to himself. "I'm really looking forward to seeing you fight."
During recess, Lego found a piece of wood in the schoolyard and tucked it into the back of his pants. He intended to teach Leo a lesson he wouldn't forget.
Lego headed straight for Leo's classroom, with Kai following closely behind.
Upon reaching the classroom, Lego took a running start and kicked the classroom door. A loud "Boom!" echoed through the hall. The noisy class instantly fell silent, looking out in shock to see what was happening. They saw Lego striding in aggressively, a belligerent look on his face.
"I heard you missed me a lot. Well, here I am now."
Leo gasped in astonishment, "What the hell?!"
Lego immediately grabbed a nearby chair and charged forward like the wind, slamming it directly at Leo's head. Leo dodged to the side but still got hit on the shoulder, and the swift pain made him wince.
A right hook flew straight towards Lego's face, momentarily stunning him.
Lego stumbled back, cursing, "You damn son of a bitch!"
He forcefully threw the chair directly at Leo. Leo quickly dodged, causing the chair to smash into the wall and break into pieces. Everyone around scattered.
Leo kicked at Lego's head. Lego raised his hand to block, a powerful "smack!" echoing out.
Leo's subordinates were watching from outside. One tried to rush in, but Leo stopped him. "Let me solo this coward. Let's see what he's capable of."
Leo had heard rumors about Lego before, but now he was witnessing it firsthand.
Lego's arm no longer felt pain; it was numb after Leo's continuous kicks.
For a moment, Lego focused, caught Leo's kick, then tightly grabbed his leg and dragged him out of the classroom in a comical posture.
Lego pulled with all his might. His legs accelerated, causing Leo to lose his balance and fall in front of many watching eyes. He was dragged a long distance, his pants tearing from being scraped against the ground. Leo's face was now pale and bruised, unable to believe he was in such a situation against someone previously considered a complete failure.
Leo struggled to break free, but Lego held on tight.
Lego sat down, wrapped his two legs around Leo's leg, one arm hugging his leg to his stomach like in UFC. With his other hand, he pulled out the piece of wood.
Leo was terrified when he saw the piece of wood, followed by continuous blows raining down on his head.
Leo used his hands to block some of the blows.
Lego then shifted to smashing the other leg, causing such intense pain that Leo couldn't even scream. The pain at this point made Leo feel like he was about to faint.
Leo's gang members, seeing the situation was dire, grabbed weapons like sticks and charged forward.
They aggressively struck Lego, a barrage of blows raining down on his body. He gritted his teeth and endured.
At that moment, Kai ran up, holding a large crate, and slammed it directly into the crowd assaulting Lego.
"Bang!"
A crashing sound echoed.
The gang members were sent flying, their faces filled with fright.
They all clutched their bodies, painfully getting back on their feet and pointing their weapons at Kai.
Kai helped Lego stand up.
Leo crawled towards his gang members.
"You guys, kill him for me!" An angry voice roared.
All the gang members attacked simultaneously. Weapons were raised, ready to strike down, when a loud "BANG!!" rang out. The gunshot was so loud that all the teachers in the school heard it.
It was Kai who had fired the gun.
The gun in Kai's hand was pointed directly at the gang members.
Everyone was stunned, taking several steps back.
"I can't believe he dared to bring a gun to school," someone's frightened voice whispered.
All the teachers used their superpowers to move as quickly as possible to approach Kai and Lego.
When he saw them arrive, Kai put the gun down, raised his hands, and surrendered.
"They attacked first, we were just defending ourselves."
