The next morning, Daisy got up early and went to work. The scrap incident had sounded an alarm for her, and she became more cautious in her work. Lydia went out to play cards as usual, leaving Grant alone at home to clean up. However, before he could even take a break, a phone call came in.
"Hey, Morgan, are you there?" It was Logan's voice on the other end of the line.
"Dixon, I told you to call me Morgan, didn't I?" Grant replied.
"Okay, Morgan it is," Logan said.
Logan had been worried that Grant might have developed a bias against him because of Eric's incident. But hearing Grant's friendly voice, Logan breathed a sigh of relief.
"So, what's up, Dixon?" Grant asked.
"I have a friend who has been experiencing sudden swelling and pain in his limbs since last year," Logan explained without wasting any time. "Only putting his hands and feet in ice water can relieve the pain."
