Chapter 66 - Twists and turns, data invasion

Stark Industrial Park Expo.

This was a grand event for technology companies from around the world. After Tony Stark finished his speech and vacated the stage, it was time for the participating companies to showcase their products.

"I heard that you were attacked after you left that day?" Tony came to the front row seats belonging to him and Pepper Potts and asked Luke and Ina who were sitting next to them.

"It's resolved." Luke carefully studied Tony's face and said, "It seems you've returned to normal."

"Thank you for your help, Luke." Pepper walked over and hugged Luke, then stood up and said gratefully. Tony was much more normal now, not sending things out for no reason or doing anything inexplicable. She naturally knew who was responsible for all this, so her gratitude to Luke was also from the bottom of her heart.

"Don't be grateful to him, Pepper. Okay, okay, you can be grateful to him." Tony had just opened his mouth when he was met with a resentful glare from Pepper. He raised his hands and said a few soft words in surrender. He was indeed grateful to Luke in his heart, but his personality wouldn't allow him to actually thank Luke. He would express his gratitude in his own way.

"Have you ever come into contact with a man named Nick Fury?" Tony asked Luke quietly.

"Of course." Luke nodded.

"Then you know, I just learned that my father has close ties with the organization he belongs to. My father once had a technical manuscript in their hands, and it was just returned to me recently." Tony was not grateful for this, because in his opinion, that thing belonged to his father, and he had the natural right to inherit it.

"so?"

"That's a new energy design! It uses some unknown new element!" Tony shrugged: "In fact, my father's design was already very mature, but the times limited him, and he couldn't make it at that time. But this doesn't bother me, I have successfully made it." Tony said, tapping his chest with his fingers.

"I've uploaded the blueprints to the technology sharing database. You can take a look at them when you have time," Tony said casually. He had no inkling that what he had just given away was a priceless set of blueprints for a new energy source. As proud as he was, he would never admit his technology was inferior to others. In his view, this method would both repay Luke's kindness in giving him exclusive technology and demonstrate that he, Tony Stark, was not inferior in new energy technology.

Luke was pleased about this.

Regardless of whether he could use this technology himself, it was still a cutting-edge accumulation of technology. He needed someone like Tony who was grateful and selflessly shared his technology!

This is a good start!

The two were chatting animatedly offstage, while Ina and Pepper were also whispering to each other. The men were discussing technology, while the women were discussing business.

"Your competitor has appeared."

Suddenly, Tony saw a man in a small suit and gold-rimmed glasses walking onto the stage in a deft dance to the beat of a drum. He put his arm around Luke's shoulder and said with a smile, "As the organizer, he knew exactly what Justin was going to show us if he wanted to."

"Him? Forget it." Luke admitted that Justin had some technical skills. After all, "Ex-Wife" was a relatively successful product at the moment. While it couldn't compare to their flagship products, it had advantages in many scenarios. Besides that, Hammer Military didn't have many products worth looking at.

"I admit that he was quite good at imitating Stark's weapons. At least I've heard Obadiah complain about that. But after Stark closed down the munitions department, you're the one who's troubled by the imitations now. I think he might as well be a dancer, maybe he'd achieve more. Look at his little steps, they're really a pleasure to watch!" Tony mercilessly launched into his venomous evaluation.

Justin on the stage naturally had no idea that Stark was speaking ill of him. He was proudly introducing his new product, the Iron Soldiers for all branches of the army, navy, and air force!

And there was Lieutenant Colonel James Rhodes, specially seconded from the Air Force to serve as his face and representative. The only slight difference in style was that James Rhodes was piloting a Hybron Titan series aircraft. That massive steel body, standing half a head taller than Justin's Iron Soldier, was even more intimidating.

"It's all fancy."

This was the only comment Tony gave on the product Justin brought out.

"He's a good businessman who understands profit maximization."

This is Tony's accurate description of Justin on stage.

"Do you think the product on the stage will be armed?" Luke suddenly asked Tony.

Tony glanced back at him oddly. "They're weapons. Do you really think they're some kind of high-tech prosthetic limb?"

"I mean, are their weapon systems armed with live ammunition?" Tiny particles appeared on Luke's arm clothes, and under Luke's manipulation, they quickly combined into a small, pocket-sized device like a USB flash drive in his palm.

"Of course not! Oh my god, I take that back!" Tony had just concluded when the Iron Man on the stage slapped him in the face. One of the Iron Man suits seemed to lose control, its shoulder-mounted machine guns whirling and shattering the tempered glass ceiling of the expo booth. Upon witnessing this, Tony immediately used the communication channel to have Jarvis summon his latest Mark VII suit, which could be remotely controlled and automatically donned.

The only thing he was thankful for now was that his suit never left his body too far away. In just a few seconds, he could summon his suit and become the fearless Iron Man.

"James, are you okay? What happened?"

As he summoned his suit, Tony didn't forget to contact his good friend on the stage. However, when his friend's shoulder cannon pointed at him, Tony could only curse inwardly. The celebrities and nobles present were completely panicked, rising from their seats and running for the door. There was crowding, shoving, arguing, and noise. The previously lively atmosphere of the exhibition hall suddenly changed.

"Take Pepper and the others away later, little one! I'll hold them back and lead them away..."

Before Tony could finish his words, he saw Luke beside him throw out a small black metal object. The uncontrollable iron soldiers on the stage, including the Iron Titan with his gun pointed at him, staggered and took two steps, then stood still as if they had a seizure.

"Well, how did you do that?"

Tony saw that the situation on the field was temporarily stabilized, and he also saw Luke and others' bodyguards running over, as well as the tail flame of his own battle suit flying towards him.

"Information technology, just a data intrusion." Luke said.
