Neo-Lumina's skyline was a chaotic kaleidoscope of overlapping dimensions. The streets trembled as dozens of portals spun wildly, each spewing faster, smarter shadow creatures. Citizens scrambled for safety, hovercars skidded uncontrollably, and neon lights flickered like frantic heartbeat signals.
Kael landed on a tilted rooftop, glove glowing violently. "Okay… this is officially beyond anything we've faced! I think my glove is screaming at me."
Lira hovered beside him, fingers flying across her tablet. "Yep. The villain isn't holding back. They've activated what looks like… an ultimate multiverse weapon. And judging by the energy readings… it's huge."
Juno sneezed violently, sparks flying in every direction. "Ultimate multiverse… does sneezing still count as hero work?"
Kael groaned. "At this point… yes. It absolutely counts."
The villain emerged from a massive, swirling portal above the city, eyes glowing cyan, shadow minions forming around them. Behind the villain hovered a gigantic, shimmering device—a machine of dark energy, glowing with unstable quantum power, pulsing like it was alive.
"This ends now," the villain declared. "Behold the Dimensional Collapse Core! With this, I will rewrite all realities, bend dimensions to my will, and bring the multiverse to its knees!"
Kael clenched his glove. "Nope. Not today." He leaped into the fray, mini holographic Kaels spinning through the air, each performing martial arts chaos on approaching shadow creatures.
Lira smirked. "Let's hack the heck out of that thing." She sent massive streams of holographic constructs and digital spikes toward the machine, trying to disrupt its energy flow.
Juno sneezed again, summoning a lightning dragon army that struck shadows and the edges of the Core, destabilizing some of its power. "Tactical sneezes… ultimate edition!"
The villain snarled. "Impossible! How can three mortals hold back the Dimensional Collapse Core?"
Kael grinned. "Improvisation, teamwork… and sneezes. Always sneezes."
Lira laughed, merging her holograms with Kael's dojo walls, forming a spinning fortress around the Core. Juno's sneezes zapped across portals, preventing more shadow creatures from reaching the machine.
The villain pressed a button on the Core, causing rippling energy waves to distort reality itself. Buildings bent, streets twisted, and shadows multiplied uncontrollably.
Kael shouted, "Lira! Merge your holograms with my glove—now!"
Lira nodded, creating a spinning energy lattice, absorbing and reflecting the Core's unstable energy. Juno sneezed one perfectly aimed bolt, striking the Core's energy hub, causing a massive feedback pulse. The machine shuddered violently.
The villain screamed as their weapon destabilized. "No! How… how can three mortals—?!"
Kael, Lira, and Juno launched a final combined attack—dojo walls, holograms, and lightning dragons striking in perfect chaos. The Core overloaded, collapsing into a harmless, shimmering quantum residue. Shadow creatures faltered and retreated into the remaining portals.
Neo-Lumina shook, neon lights flickered back to normal, and the city exhaled in collective relief.
Kael panted. "Ultimate weapon… destroyed. Mostly survived… barely."
Lira floated down, smirking. "Mostly survived. And stylishly, I might add."
Juno sneezed one final time, sparks harmlessly fizzing. "Mostly counts… again."
The villain vanished through a collapsing portal, their promise echoing faintly:
"This isn't over. The multiverse will still kneel… eventually."
Neo-Lumina—and reality itself—was safe… temporarily. But the villain's ambitions were far from finished, hinting at even bigger battles to come.
