Chapter 57 - Chapter 57 – Magical Attack Godzilla, Energy

Damn it! Even with Kong fighting by my side, two against one still isn't enough. At this rate, there's no way I can beat him. After all, Ichimaru Gin is a captain-class Shinigami, and his Zanpakutō is ridiculously unfair. Looks like I'll have to…

Once again, Aoyama was struck back, his body aching under the crushing pressure of Gin's strikes. The overwhelming gap between a captain and himself had never felt clearer.

Even though his Zanpakutō—The Book of Monsters—could serve not only as a weapon for slashing, but also as the means to summon beasts like Kong, a single summoned Titan wasn't enough to bridge the difference between him and a true captain-class.

In truth, the gap was still the equivalent of at least seven or eight Renji Abarais stacked together. Sheer physical strength alone wasn't going to close that distance. If quality couldn't match up, then quantity would have to make up for it.

Kong let out a furious roar, pounding his chest with one massive fist. His battle axe gleamed with savage light as he cleaved apart a wave of sword pressure, then bellowed again and charged toward Gin with reckless force.

Gin's fox-like eyes narrowed slightly as he parried Kong's wild blows. All the while, his gaze flickered back toward Aoyama, wary. He could sense his opponent preparing something.

"Is he… getting ready to use Kidō?"

"No, it doesn't look like that. If he doesn't chant the incantation, the spell's power will be severely weakened—nothing that could actually threaten me."

"If it's not Kidō, then among the Four Shinigami Fundamentals—Zanjutsu, Hakuda, Hohō, Kidō—he still hasn't shown Hakuda or Shunpo."

On the level of pure swordsmanship, Aoyama was still outclassed. Gin was, after all, a captain. Even when Aoyama threw himself fully into the fight, and with Kong pressing from the side, Gin still handled them with ease.

Time and again, Aoyama was blasted away by Gin's strikes. The frustration was suffocating.

If one monster wasn't enough… then he'd just summon another. Three against one—maybe then he'd finally force a captain onto the defensive.

Not far away, Aizen's gaze sharpened. His senses picked up a surge of energy breaching through space, the sensation reminiscent of a Hollow tearing open a Garganta from Hueco Mundo into Soul Society.

Sensing Godzilla's imminent arrival, Tōsen Kaname instantly unsheathed his Zanpakutō, stepping forward protectively in front of Aizen. "Aizen-sama, please be cautious."

But Aizen lightly brushed Tōsen aside, curiosity shining in his eyes. "Kaname, you're being too tense. That's not the right mindset. True, one should always fight with full effort and focus… but it's also important to properly judge the situation. No matter how gifted, a mere child fresh out of Shin'ō Academy can't possibly amount to much."

Reluctantly, Tōsen eased back into place, though his sword remained half-drawn, his Reiatsu still taut and battle-ready. He wasn't about to underestimate anyone—least of all someone bold enough to summon such things.

Meanwhile, Aoyama poured his spiritual pressure into his Zanpakutō, The Book of Monsters. The tome materialized in his hands—though to others, its presence was invisible, only Aoyama himself able to see and wield it.

Flipping to the page depicting Godzilla, his eyes locked onto the towering, dinosaur-like Titan illustrated within. If Kong had grown larger and stronger under Soul Society's unique Reiatsu environment, then surely Godzilla would be enhanced even further.

With a sharp twist of his blade and his hand pressing firmly onto the glowing page, Aoyama shouted:

"Come forth—Godzilla!"

"ROAAARRR!"

An earth-shaking roar ripped through the air as Godzilla tore into reality, leaping from the void into the battlefield. A suffocating, domineering pressure spread outward, one that even a captain could not ignore.

"ROOAAARR?!"

Kong's eyes widened, his furious roar sounding almost indignant. It was as if he were demanding: How did you suddenly get so much stronger than me?!

Godzilla lumbered forward, his savage gaze locking straight onto Gin. His claws shimmered with gathering energy, much like Kong's axe before a strike—but sharper, deadlier, crackling with raw destructive force.

Kong, stunned, realized that while his axe gave him an edge, Godzilla had gone even further—his very claws could now condense energy, multiplying his offensive power severalfold.

Aoyama steadied his Zanpakutō, shifting into a samurai's stance, voice sharp and resolute:

"From here on out… a new round begins."

On his left, Kong stood tall, four meters of brute force incarnate, his savage aura radiating like a primordial beast. Axe in hand, he looked like raw destruction waiting to be unleashed.

On his right, Godzilla's immense figure loomed even higher, his clawed hands glowing with energy, his dinosaur-like form exuding unstoppable might.

And at the center—Aoyama himself, sword drawn, calm but fierce, his killing intent honed and ready to strike with a single, decisive blow.

Aizen and Tōsen exchanged startled glances. Neither had expected Aoyama to summon two Titans. And this Godzilla—his power was far greater than Kong's, his very body brimming with energy that dwarfed his counterpart.

Both were Titans, yes—but where Kong was a berserker, pure physical force with his battle axe as his only weapon, Godzilla was something more. He was both brute and mage: capable of close combat and devastating energy attacks. His versatility and destructive potential far outstripped Kong's.

As for Aoyama, he was a jack-of-all-trades, not excelling in any one field, but with one unmatched gift: the ability to summon monsters. By sheer numbers alone, he could overwhelm opponents.

In the shinobi world, he had stood toe-to-toe with Kage-level fighters without fear—unless, of course, it was that "Blue Beast of Konoha" with his explosive power.

Even in the world of Hunters, he had faced Chairman Netero himself. Though outclassed, Aoyama hadn't flinched, instead summoning Titans to the point where even Netero questioned his own life choices.

But Soul Society was different. With countless ancient Shinigami who had lived for thousands of years, their power eclipsed even that of the ninja world. And while the Hunter world had unfathomable depths in the Dark Continent, here, the surface alone was terrifying.

In short, of all the worlds Aoyama had experienced, Soul Society was by far the most frightening yet.
