A healing light suddenly enveloped Freddy bringing his health back up. Without hesitation, Freddy lunged for the party healer.
Caught off guard by Freddy's sudden movement, the cleric who goes by the name 'Divine Queen' froze in shock.
Raising his sword, he delivered a powerful slash, fuel by anger, toward the healer.
Clang!
However, at the last minute an iron shield quickly slipped between them intercepting the sword strike. Sparks flew as the guardian braced his weight behind the block.
"Tch–!" Freddy clicked his tongue in anger, pushing hard but the shield didn't bulge.
At that moment, a Holy Smite smashed down on the guardian, staggering him.
Seizing the chance, Freddy quickly slipped past the guardian and delivered a slash to the healer.

As a cloth armor user, health and defense could be said to be their weakest stats.
"Kill that f*cking healer" Granites sharp voice rang out.
The assassin who'd already begun to act plunged his dagger into Willy's back.
"Ahh–!" Willy gave a short cry as his health bar emptied out. His body disintegrated into motes of light leaving Freddy alone.
Freddy's pupil shrank on Willy's death, fueled by anger, Freddy delivered a front kick at the healer, knocking her down and raised his sword to strike again.

A fiery fireball caught Freddy on the side, rocking him off balance. His HP plummeted

At the same time, Granite's arrow sliced across the battle field aiming for him.
Using the momentum from the stagger, Freddy tilted his body backwards narrowly dodging the arrow.
However, the guardian who was now behind him slammed his shield forward, bashing Freddy square in the back.

Falling forward, Freddy seized the opportunity to stab the healer.

Divine Queen's 280 HP was cut down by more than half at that moment scaring her.
However as Freddy prepared to strike again, a dagger plunged into his neck from behind, erasing the last bit of his health.
"Arcadia isn't a game where one person can run wild" Freddy heard Granite's mocking voice before his vision turned dark and his body pixelated.
"What a troublesome fellow," the assassin, Sneaker said with a smirk.
"I hate to admit it, but he's quite skilled." The swordsman chimed in.
It's just a shame that he doesn't know how to adapt." The guardian sighed.
"That sucker wanted to kill me, and you guys are here praising him?" Divine Queen who was sitting on the ground, broke into an outburst .
"Relax, we can kill him later until you're satisfied. We still have to make him drop all the boss's loot anyway. For let's see what he dropped?" Granite suddenly appeared before them, helping Divine Queen up.
Sneaker bent down and picked up Freddy's sword along with a tattered little book. "Not bad, he actually dropped a skill book."
As he spoke, he shared the skill information in the party chat for the others to see.

"Hah! That guy's a Gladiator, he'll shed blood if he knew that the loot he dropped was a skill book and an AoE one at that Ha! ha! ha!" The Swordsman, Two Face burst into laughter as the others joined.
"But we don't have a berserker in our party, what do we do with this skill book?" Their guffawing was interrupted by a question from the mage, earning him another round of glares.
"We'll sell it of course, but its value can only be recognized in the city where everyone from the entire region meets." Granite fiddled with the skill book before placing it in his inventory.
"I'll hold on to this for now, stash the sword with the rest of the loot to be sold back in town." Granite ordered and started moving deeper into the forest, with the rest of the party following behind.

Freddy opened his eyes and found himself floating in a dark space, at the same time a system Notification greeted him.

A 30 minutes timer suddenly appeared above and began counting down.
Looking at the system notification, Freddy hurriedly checked his inventory and equipments.
'My sword is missing, but nothing else from my earlier items is missing which means I dropped one of the boss's loot' Freddy sighed.
"Wait till I get my hands on you Raiders" Freddy mumbled slowly then suddenly shook his jerked.
'What's wrong with me? I seem to have become more violent since I started playing this game.' Freddy thought as he stared at his hands.
His mind recalled all the things he had encounter since the game launched, lingering especially on that lady Nora's word from the character creation 'Not everything is as simple as it seems.'
'What did that AI mean? This feeling... What is this?' He wondered, floating there, questioning himself.
Suddenly at that moment, unknown to him his pupils faintly glowed red and he clenched his fist.
"But I don't think I hate it." He mumbled and raised his head to look at the timer.
"It's almost a day in-game. Going by the game's time dilation, its not even morning yet. I guess I can take this time to go through the game forum, see what I can learn." With that thought in mind, Freddy started fumbling around trying to open the game forum.

Grizzler quietly walked towards the two players standing just outside the bustling gate.
He'd already equipped another trousers as he met up with the other two.
Those were naturally Lord Awesomness and Double Son who had also replaced their missing gears.
"Let's go, we're gonna kill that motherf*cker and get out gears back." Lord Awesomeness said and made to move, but Grizzler's strong arms suddenly grabbed him by the collar and pulled him back.
Staring Lord Awesomness straight in the eyes, Grizzler spoke slowly "Answer me straight Jordan, what's the bone of contention between you and that Aegis player?"
