After walking for a while, Lana finally spoke.
"Since we are going to stay here for some time, it would be better if we created a tent of our own. We should begin by creating a defensive circle around it."
Sophia nodded enthusiastically. "That sounds like a good idea."
However, after taking a few more steps, Sophia suddenly frowned.
"Lana, does it not seem strange to you that this entire Ghost Domain does not appear to have any ghosts?"
Lana laughed awkwardly. She almost wanted to reveal the truth.
'If I tell her that the blackness beneath our feet is actually made up of countless ghosts, she might become frightened.'
Sophia appeared strong and confident, but Lana could sense that she was not nearly as fearless as she pretended to be. Telling her that they were literally walking on ghosts would probably frighten her out of her mind.
Lana's intention had been good. Unfortunately, the ghosts clearly had no intention of giving them enough time to relax.
