After taking Kyle to his room Alex had called for the same physician that had ran a check up on Kyle after the incident with the strange fire. He couldn't risk anything at this point.
Then he had Lyla take him to the place where she had found the broken plates. When they got there, place had been cleaned up. Like somebody had come back to try to erase traces that something happened the there. An ordinary mage wouldn't have noticed anything with the place cleaned up like this but of course Alex was no ordinary person. He could sense the mana signatures here that didn't belong to Kyle. Though it was faint like the culprits had tried to hide their mana prints, he could tell there had been two persons here aside Kyle.
This just made it clear that the culprits had been guests in the castle.
And they were still here.
