[Einstein]: "Otto, you know nothing of the Honkai. You have no idea the consequences of letting it run rampant!"
[Otto]: "It's true that I didn't fully understand the Honkai back then, but haven't I made up for my mistakes? I can still lead Schicksal in fighting against it."
[Tesla]: "Otto, you're as disgusting as ever."
[Though swallowed by the dragon, Welt Yang now enters a protagonist-style flashback sequence.]
Berlin, 1955
Amid the ruins left by war, a black-haired man, gravely wounded, weakly leans against a broken wall.
A brown-haired boy desperately tries to treat his injuries, but even the bandaged wounds won't stop bleeding.
Tears streaming down his face, the boy sobs:
"Why… why won't the bleeding stop…?"
The dying man, however, remains composed. Despite the boy's despair, he gently consoles him.
"Haha… Don't push yourself. I can feel my life slipping away…"
Boy: "No! You won't die! You're Welt—our hero!"
Before Welt can finish, the grief-stricken boy cuts him off, tears falling like rain as he continues his futile efforts. Even the slightest hope is enough for him to refuse giving up.
Yet Welt's life continues to fade. The treatment is meaningless.
"Welt… huh? It's a good name, isn't it?"
"Mm…" Joachim chokes out between sobs.
"Then from now on… you are Welt."
With those words, Welt manifests his Herrscher Core in his palm, gazing tenderly at the weeping boy—his eyes full of expectation.
"The Herrscher Core… and the duty to protect this world—"
Seeing Joachim inherit his legacy, Welt smiles in relief.
"I leave it to you now… Welt."
In his final moments, his thoughts drift to a blue-clad figure—the one who gave him this name.
"Though this life was fleeting and artificial… to have received the name 'Welt' from you… It was truly wonderful."
Inside the dragon's belly, the concentration of Honkai energy around Welt surges violently.
His eyes snap open—crimson and resolute.
Welt: "Today… Welt shall fight once more to protect this world!"
[March 7th]: "Today, Welt shall fight once more to protect this world!"
[Stelle]: "Today, Welt shall fight once more to protect this world!"
[March 7th]: "I just heard Mr. Yang talk about his past, but I never imagined he went through something so tragic as a child…"
[Einstein]: "...Welt Joyce… Your life was not artificial! You were our hero!"
Seeing that even in his final moments, Joyce still thought of him, Einstein—who had remained stoic throughout the viewing—finally breaks.
Her teeth bite into her lip, fists clenched as tears stream down her face uncontrollably.
Even Tesla, usually loud and hot-tempered, falls into rare silence, quietly standing by her side.
[Honkai: Star Rail - Welt]: "Uncle Joyce…"
[Honkai Impact 3rd - Welt]: "...I will carry on Joyce's will. Welt will always fight for this world!"
[Su]: "This is civilization—an unbroken chain passed down through generations!"
At this moment, the group chat is almost entirely united in mourning. Heroes who sacrifice their lives for civilization and its protection are always revered!
…Almost entirely?
Well… the universe is vast. There are bound to be certain humanoid creatures who don't quite fit in—like most Masked Fools, most Masked Fools, and most Masked Fools.
[Soon after, Welt tears his way out of the dragon's belly and steps forward calmly. With his glasses removed, an unbridled arrogance radiates from him as he sweeps his hair back with one hand.]
Welt:
"Round two… is just beginning."
No longer holding back, crimson light flares around him as countless mechs materialize behind him—an entire army summoned in an instant.
Welt:
"Herrscher of the Void. Are you ready—
to face the Herrscher of Reason?
To face the power of Welt?!"
Sirin: "An ambush? How shameless—resorting to human weapons!"
Though she considers herself a mere imitation, she is still a Herrscher. Seeing Welt wield human technology irritates her to no end. She erects multiple barriers around herself in response.
Arrogant as ever, she refuses to believe human weapons could harm an emissary of God.
And then—she is swiftly proven wrong.
Human weaponry shatters her defenses!
Enraged, she summons countless pale hands to obliterate Welt's mechs in an instant!
But for every machine destroyed, more take their place.
Only then does Sirin realize—these mechs are creations of Welt himself!
Welt:
"Finally figured it out? This is the power of the First Herrscher."
As Welt activates his authority, fighters, mechs, rockets, aircraft carriers—an entire modern arsenal manifests behind him.
He alone is an army!
"Any weapon whose structure I comprehend… I can recreate it using Honkai energy.
As long as I live… this army will never fall.
This is the power of human ingenuity!
This is the civilization humanity represents!"
Blood trickles from Welt's lips as every weapon behind him primes for attack.
"I, Welt… challenge you on behalf of humanity.
God! Judge for yourself—whether humanity deserves to survive.
All units… FIRE!!!"
[Herta]: "Wait—what do you mean 'instant construction through comprehension'? What kind of cheat ability is that?! Welt, come to my lab. Name your price."
[Kiana]: "Mr. Yang declaring war on a Herrscher for humanity's sake?! SO COOL! I'll definitely become a Valkyrie even stronger than him!"
[March 7th]: "Who knew Mr. Yang—who's always obsessing over giant robots—had such insane knowledge reserves?! Though honestly… if he didn't explain himself first, he'd totally look like the villain bullying a little girl here!"
[Stelle]: "Not everyone's as airheaded as you. But yeah, this version of Mr. Yang is oozing 'final boss' energy."
[March 7th]: "Pfft—you're the airhead! Oh right—Mr. Yang, why don't you use this move anymore? A one-man army is so cool!"
[Honkai: Star Rail - Welt]:
"@Herta Actually, the Herrscher of Reason's authority isn't that simple. My compatibility with its Core wasn't particularly high.
A true Herrscher of Reason can analyze anything, then reconstruct it through understanding alone.
And a fully ascended Herrscher of Truth can even create technology that doesn't exist.
I've since passed my Core to the next generation. The residual authority left in me is minimal.
Though my strength has grown under the Path of Trailblaze… I can no longer wield that 'one-man army' combat style."
[Acheron]: "To grant mortals sight of divine principles… and recreate miracles."
