Chapter 9 - The Radiaters Special Forces

Osiroh.

Jelian was fast asleep.

It had been a long time since he had taken a proper rest, because he had a very intense focus on any danger.

He would wake up early every morning and repeatedly wander around Coredeth for several reasons.

First, to find any remaining monsters to kill or enslave if they were useful.

Second, to ensure that traps and mutated animals were placed to monitor anything entering the city, even an ant.

Third, he would sometimes train and prepare to be ready for any possible confrontation, especially the superpowered radiator. He would experiment with weapons, bombs, and even melee weapons, all while gaining a little experience, but enough to deal with danger.

Fourth and finally, he would spend his time, sometimes exploring his mind, sometimes entering new places and imagining what they had been.

He was awake every time, even when Aiden arrived, leaving for a mission in Pycus, and after using his powers to great effect.

His body wasn't rested, so this was the most restful sleep he'd ever experienced in his life.

So much so, he wanted to sleep forever.

But he couldn't, and he felt hungry.

He left the room, his hair a mess, but his face looking brighter than before.

Luzia greeted him in the living room, sitting on the floor watching TV with chips, plates of pizza, burgers, and large cans of soda.

She was enjoying the luxury and the high-quality service, unlike anything she'd ever experienced before.

"Oh, you're finally awake. I brought some pizza and soda for us to eat!" He was happy and in a good mood, and she wanted to share it with him.

Jelian looked expressionless and said, looking at the dark sky outside the window, "How many hours have you slept?"

"It's nine o'clock now!"

Jelian was shocked and looked at the digital clock hanging on the wall. "Damn! I really slept that long?!" Jelian screamed in alarm, clutching his head.

He immediately opened the door and ran out of the house.

"Aaaah, Jelian! You still haven't eaten the pizza!" she shouted anxiously to Jelian.

Jelian went down the stairs, but he didn't descend normally. Instead, he jumped from floor to floor, moving at high speed. Of course, he didn't think anything of it, as if something might happen to him.

However, he reached the ground floor unharmed and stormed out the door.

So much so that Fatima was startled and almost dropped her phone.

She saw Jelian running and already leaving the hotel.

"What happened to him?" Fatima asked in a low voice, but she was then surprised when she saw Jelian walking back towards her.

He raised his head and said aggressively, "Listen, Fatima. How do I get to the hospital where my sister is?"

Fatima didn't respond, but was shocked by how rude he was.

Then she sighed and said, "What are you in such a hurry for? They won't let you in at this time."

"Huh? I want to check on my sister! How can I not go in there?!" Jelian was shocked and shouted at Fatima.

Fatima became extremely angry and leaned toward Jelian. Pointing at him, she said, "Listen, boy. Don't think that you're under Aiden's supervision or that you have high standards. That makes you look down on me. You should respect yourself and those older than you. Besides, visiting hours are over. What were you doing all this time?"

Jelian frowned and became extremely angry, but didn't respond. Indeed, it was his mistake to fall asleep.

Fatima then calmed down, took a deep breath, and said, "The hospital has specific visiting hours. You'll only have to go during these times. But if you're truly worried about your sister, you can call her directly and ask how she's doing."

Jelian's eyes lit up after that. "Really! How do I call her?"

Fatima sighed and lifted the landline to her ear. "Hang on, I'll call them."

She did call the hospital. The receptionist helped arrange the matter, successfully connecting the hotel phone to Nandy's room phone, and Nandy picked up the receiver.

"Hello?" Nandy picked up the phone and answered it calmly and nervously.

When Fatima heard Nandy's voice, she immediately handed the receiver to Jelian.

"Hello? Nandy? Can you hear me?"

"Jelian?!! Jelian, where were you? I thought you'd forgotten me."

"Oh, sorry, I fell asleep and only just woke up."

"No, no problem. You should go to sleep and get some rest. You hardly ever sleep when we were at our house."

"...It doesn't matter how comfortable I am. What matters is that you are okay. You know nothing will happen to your big brother, right?"

Nandi laughed happily. She knew exactly how worried Jelian was about her, and he wouldn't care about himself no matter what happened to him.

Despite knowing Jelian's superpowers and even witnessing them in person, it still scared her deeply. Sometimes she felt guilty when she saw him working so hard and tiring herself out while she did nothing.

But she had given up on trying to convince him, and instead tried to do what she could, like take care of him or feed him.

"You're right, my brother is very strong!"

The conversation continued for a short while, and then he said goodbye and hung up. Jelian walked back to his apartment, smiling and happy.

"Hey, boy, what do you think you're going to do?" Fatima shouted at Jelian to get his attention.

Jelian turned around coldly and said, "What do you want?"

"Didn't you forget something?"

"Huh? What did you forget?" Jelian asked stupidly, not knowing what Fatima meant.

Fatima got angry and said, "You ran from one house to here, and you were talking rudely and yelling at me, and after I gave you the phone, you just left. That's all right? If you tell your sister about it, I'm sure she'll be upset with you."

Jelian was immediately confused and nervous, thinking that if his sister found out he was rude to others, she might be upset with him. Furthermore, he didn't know how to treat women.

"I... I'm so sorry about that," Jelian said, embarrassed and nervous, looking away, his face completely red.

Fatima smiled a wicked smile and giggled. "He's kind of cute," she thought.

"What were you laughing about?"

Aiden suddenly appeared next to Fatima, startling the princess, and her heart nearly leapt out of her chest.

"Aiden! You idiot, I almost fell off my chair!!"

"Haha, but you didn't, so you're totally fine."

"Humph." He sighed heavily, but she didn't respond and turned away, holding her phone.

"Hey, Jelian! I see you've taken your time, so let's go."

"Huh? Where do you want to take me?" Jelian replied coldly.

"To the headquarters, aren't you a member? I'll introduce you to the rest of the members."

"And who said I am? I have nothing to do with anyone here, I'm going home."

"That kid is really rude," Fatima said calmly, but Aiden replied, "He's a kid, after all. What can you do with him? And I also want you to call Luzia to come down here."

"Okay," Fatima answered immediately and dialed the suite.

"You said it had nothing to do with you? Do you think your sister's treatment and care will be free of charge? If you refuse to come, your sister's care will be stopped."

Jelian stopped walking, slowly turned to Aiden, and said with anger and murderous intent, "Are you threatening to stop my sister's treatment?"

The murderous intent was so strong that Fatima was confused and frightened by this terrifying face.

Aiden responded with a sarcastic smile, "Oh? And what are you going to do?"

The two looked deeply at each other, but Jelian quickly dispelled his murderous intent. He knew that Aiden was responsible for his sister's treatment, but stopping treatment for such a ridiculous reason would make him feel guilty.

Seeing that Jelian's murderous intent had been dispelled, Aiden used it to persuade him to come. "There's a new mission, and you have to come because it threatens the safety of the city. You won't let anything happen to your sister Nandi, will you?"

Jelian frowned, deeply infuriated that Aiden had taken advantage of his concern for his sister. But he finally accepted with a sarcastic expression, just as Luzia arrived.

They both walked, entering the large garden they had passed earlier, until they reached the building. They entered the elevator and descended to the lower floors.

Finally, they arrived at their destination. They stood in front of a large, wide door, with the words "Control Room" written above it.

It opened and revealed what was inside, and Jelian saw several things. The hall was spacious, enormous, and completely dark. From a distance, several giant screens could be seen connected to each other, displaying scenes from Osiroh and scenes outside it, as well as detailed data and information.

In front of the screens was a very large, wide control panel with several buttons, knobs, pedals, and miniature screens.

In the center of the courtyard was a control panel table similar to the one in front. It was square, with a sofa and chairs in the middle. These were also distributed at the edges of the room, and stairs led down on opposite sides.

Jelian and Luzia were amazed by the sight! Rooms like this were only seen in movies and comics.

"Welcome to the secret base of the Radiator Special Forces!" Aiden said proudly welcoming Jelian and Luzia.

In the hall, there were already people present and spread out. There were four people sitting on the large screen, three women,

and a young man.

In the middle, there was a group of men sitting on the couch and chairs.

They were all looking up at Jelian and Luzia curiously.

Jelian, Luzia, and Aiden were standing tall, so they descended the stairs until they reached the center of the hall.

"Everyone, let me introduce you to our new members. This is Jelian Farouk, and this is Luzia Noronha."

Everyone looked with curiosity and amazement. They already knew who they were. They had heard all the details from Omar and Rossi.

They couldn't believe they were just little boys until they saw it for themselves, but there were some who couldn't believe it, and one of them said, "Humph, can these kids really kill a huge beast by themselves? You must have gone crazy."

"Ha ha ha, I knew you wouldn't believe this, Cohen, but I can attest to it myself," Rossi replied with a laugh.

"Me too, his fight was truly amazing." Even Omar confirmed Rossi's statement.

"Even though I wasn't there when he fought that giant snake, I'll take Rossi for granted," Bianchi commented.

"Humph, I hope it's true and not just an exaggeration!" Cohen snorted and turned away.

"I'll introduce you to the forces. You already know Omar, Rossi, and Bianchi. The one who just denounced me is Ray Cohen, the chief information officer for the base."

Cohen was slim and tall, wore round glasses, and had a haughty, condescending expression. He was an ordinary Radiater, and therefore, envied his superpowers. Because of this, he always tells them that he has a superpower in his mind, which makes him smart. He knows that no one believes him, but he loves to brag about it. Although he doubted the information he'd heard about the Pycus mission, he was an expert at gathering and deducing information. His expertise outweighed his obvious personality.

Aiden continued introducing the others: "These twins are Alex and Axel Drakov. They are skilled snipers and have a superpower that helps them heighten their five senses."

It was difficult for the team to tell them apart, but they trusted them completely. Their bodies were completely ordinary, so you wouldn't think they possessed a superpower. They had modern, youthful hairstyles and tattoos on their arms.

"On the corner is a four-armed man named Tariq Vulcan. Although he is silent most of the time and looks intimidating, he is very kind and helpful to others."

Tarik had a square face and short hair, and had arms growing from his shoulders. After acquiring these new arms, he became eager to develop them. He grew accustomed to them and even became an expert to the point where he could do several things at once. He loved helping, and now he was fixing a watch he carried on his wrist.

"On his side was Hugh Killen. His hands had transformed into strange shapes, resembling laser cannons. He could actually fire powerful beams from them. Since he only had fingers, Tariq volunteered to help him."

Hugh had blond hair, shaved on the right side, and looked like a boy about Jelian's age. However, he was actually in his thirties. Because of the transformation in his arms, he became a close friend of Tariq's, and they quickly became close friends.
