The Pure White Healing Clinic sits on Northwest Main Street in Orario it's basically the healing center owned by the Dian Cecht Familia, and everyone knows they're the biggest medical familia in the city.
I'm talking like ninety percent of all adventurers in Orario who get messed up in the dungeon end up getting treated here.
Even during the day, the clinic entrance is always packed with people coming and going.
Staring at the tightly shut door, Hestia looks anxious as hell, pacing back and forth.
Today she'd promised to go to the hospital with Kuro to get his condition treated. Everything started out smooth enough.
What Hestia didn't expect was when the Dian Cecht Familia members saw Kuro's body covered in wounds, they all just went silent. After a quick examination, they said this wasn't something they could handle and immediately called for someone else.
Then after switching through several people who all said they couldn't do it, they ended up calling the head of the Dian Cecht Familia who's also the best healer in Orario... Amid Teasanare.
After looking at Kuro's body, she kicked Hestia out of the room.
Finally, after Hestia had been pacing the hallway for who knows how long, this incredibly beautiful girl with long, silky silver-white hair and big eyes with long lashes that look like something from a dream basically like a gorgeous doll came out of the room.
Hestia immediately rushed over: "Can Kuro-kun's condition be healed?"
Hearing the anxious question from the goddess in front of her, Amid Teasanare shook her head.
"I'm sorry, Hestia-sama, but your familia member's body problems are way too complicated. Not just external wounds, but internal injuries, diseases, and there are tons of different types of poison all tangled together, plus some unknown curses. The fact that he's not dead is already a miracle. You came way too late."
"What?"
Hestia screamed in shock!
"That's impossible! Kuro-kun was perfectly fine this morning, and he's been getting healthier lately, how could..."
Kuro, now dressed and feeling incredibly light, came out of the room. Seeing Hestia's panic-stricken face, he looked confused at Amid Teasanare standing beside her.
"Even though I can't heal everything, I've treated about seventy to eighty percent of the wounds and curses. The rest just needs a few days of rest to heal completely." Amid continued to Hestia: "It's just that there are too many types of poison and they're too complicated most of it has already seeped into his bone marrow, so it can't be healed quickly."
Amid finished saying everything she wanted to say, then looked at Kuro with a complicated expression.
When she started treating him earlier, she'd been shocked by the mess that was Kuro's body too. How the hell could someone get injured like that and still be alive?
Especially the poison in Kuro's body it was seriously like someone who'd been soaking in a barrel of poison every day for years.
"Hah! What the hell, you scared me to death." Hestia sighed in relief: "How dare you mess with a goddess."
Amid said seriously: "I just want to warn you both come for treatment sooner next time. There are many wounds on his body that were recently inflicted. With his body's condition, he could collapse at any time, and then it really would be too late to save him."
"But didn't you say most of it was healed?"
Kuro rolled up his sleeves, flexing his bicep with all the strength he could muster.
"But...!"
Hestia still wasn't entirely convinced.
"It's fine, this is just a small trial. Besides, this pain can remind me not to get too comfortable."
Thinking about those poisons that couldn't be completely healed, an elegant figure wearing a veil appeared in Kuro's mind.
His heart immediately heated up, the flames of revenge almost becoming real and bursting out.
'Looks like I know how to activate my skill.'
"Let's go, on to the next place."
Even though Kuro's body had recovered halfway, their money was also halfway gone.
The two of them first went to a place that sold protective gear inside Babel Tower. After browsing for half the day, they finally bought a set of light armor for twenty to thirty thousand valis.
After that, they came to a somewhat run-down house, looked up and saw a sign that read "Blue Sky Pharmacy."
Even before going in, Hestia was already shouting inside: "Hey, Miach, we're here to visit!"
Following Hestia inside, they could see various potions lined up on the counter, as well as the dog girl Naaza Erisuis trying to stop Hestia from going deeper inside.
"Hestia-sama, Miach-sama is currently mixing potions. If there's anything you need, just tell me."
"What's with that? I rarely come to see him." Hestia pouted unhappily.
Just then, a god with squinting eyes and a smile on his face came out from the back.
"Hestia, long time no see. I heard you finally managed to recruit a familia member—congratulations!" Miach looked around and saw Kuro standing behind Hestia.
Miach smiled as he approached Kuro, pulling out two bottles of green potion and handing them over: "Hello, I'm Miach, an old friend of Hestia's. Consider these two healing potions a meeting gift."
"Miach-sama, you're giving away potions randomly again."
Before Kuro could accept them, Naaza beside them was already starting to complain.
This shop wasn't exactly profitable to begin with, but their main god still liked giving potions to people for free.
"Or let me just buy them!"
"Haha, this kid's interesting." Miach laughed: "But it's a gift, so I can't charge for it."
Seeing Miach laughing with his eyes squinting, Kuro unconsciously reached out and accepted them: "Thank you, Miach-sama."
Old friends meeting definitely have lots to talk about, but Hestia didn't forget the purpose of this trip. After chatting for a few sentences and promising to meet again in a few days, she took Kuro to buy a complete set of potions and left.
"Where's the elf you wanted to thank?"
Walking down the street, Hestia looked over at Kuro carrying packages big and small.
"She's currently working at a restaurant called The Hostess of Fertility. We can grab dinner there while we're at it."
Saying this, Kuro led Hestia to the front door of The Hostess of Fertility restaurant.
It was already evening now, and seeing how crowded the restaurant was, Kuro pulled Hestia's hand and went inside.
"Welcome nya! What would you like to eat nya!"
As soon as they entered, a cheerful cat girl immediately greeted them.
"Hello, I'd like to meet with Ryuu-san!"
The cat girl Anya tilted her head and moved her cute cat ears, then shouted loudly toward the kitchen: "Ryuu, someone's looking for you nya!"
Ryuu Lion, former member of the Astraea Familia who'd been hiding here for two years, heard Anya's shout from outside and furrowed her brow.
Right now there was basically nobody in all of Orario who would recognize her while she was in hiding. Who would be looking for her at this time?
Various faces flashed through her mind. Finally, Ryuu put down the dish she was washing, dried her hands, and came out.
After seeing who had come, her brow furrowed again. The person who'd come was a black-haired, black-eyed stranger.
Kuro saw Ryuu come out of the kitchen, exactly like in his memories, and pulled out a box from inside his cloak to hand it over.
"My name is Kuro. Thank you for saving my life two years ago, Ryuu-san."
"Eh, a gift nya."
Ryuu didn't accept the box: "I'm sorry, sir, but you've got the wrong person. I've never met you before."
She knew clearly what her situation had been like two years ago. Basically everyone she'd met back then had been killed by her how could she have saved someone?
"Ryuu, don't be like that nya. Maybe you saved him without realizing it nya."
"That's impossible."
Ryuu firmly denied it.
"Ryuu-san..."
"SMACK!!!"
Kuro was about to explain when suddenly there was a loud sound.
"Hey, kid, this is a restaurant, not a place for you guys to chat." Mia Grand, who was both the owner and head chef, slammed the front table hard, the loud noise making everyone jump.
Mia glared at several people: "You stupid girls, get back to work!"
Ryuu and Anya immediately went back to work they seemed used to being pushed around like this.
Kuro knew she was helping Ryuu get out of a tough situation, but he didn't say anything. He ordered food and ate with Hestia.
"Too bad the gift couldn't be given." Holding the gift he'd carefully chosen, Hestia said regretfully: "Kuro-kun, are you sure you didn't get the wrong person?"
From the conversation just now, Hestia was already sure that the other party wasn't lying.
"Yeah, she's the one." Kuro nodded with certainty: "I'll give her the gift another time."
He didn't see Syr, but that was normal. With Hestia by his side, there's no way Syr would show up.
That girl wasn't satisfied with her little game yet she wasn't ready to be open about things.
After spending a full day playing around Orario, the two of them finally returned to the church.
That night, Hestia stared at Kuro, who was still frowning even in his sleep.
Hestia quietly made a decision.
