Chapter 47 - CHAPTER 46

Tracy looked at him and gave him a light push.

"Thank you so much."

"You're welcome. Is this how you always run away from your fans?" he teased.

"Yeah… ha, that was close. My manager will definitely scold me today. Thank you, I really thought they were after you too."

He smiled softly. "Who would look at me when a celebrity is standing right beside me? I mean, who?"

She chuckled. "Hmm, I guess you're right."

He leaned forward slightly. "Your question before… no, I'm not in a relationship. And you?"

She blinked, surprised. How can someone this handsome be single? she thought.

"Yeah, I'm currently dating," she admitted.

His face darkened instantly. "Thanks so much, but I should get going."

"I don't think that's a good idea now. You'll have to wait—it's dangerous with your fans still outside."

He sighed. "Hmm, you're right. Those fans never give up easily."

Tracy looked around, found an empty table, and sat down. "So… how's Tiffany?"

Daniel froze, then looked away. "I don't know."

"What do you mean you don't know? Weren't you two dating before?"

His eyes narrowed into a glare. "And why would I date someone like her?"

"Why wouldn't you? Isn't she a human too? Or is it because she's a maid, huh?" Tracy shot back sharply, though deep inside, she was secretly glad he wasn't with Tiffany anymore. Still, she wanted to know the truth.

"No, it's not that."

"Then what is it? Ugh, I don't even know why I'm mad at you right now. Let's just let it slide."

"No," he said firmly, raising his voice. "We're not letting it slide—we're going to talk about it."

He sighed heavily, running his fingers through his hair. "Kissing Tiffany was a misunderstanding. From the very moment I laid my eyes on you, my heart started racing. I don't know what happened to me. Every word I've ever said to you, I meant it. But when you're around me, I just… feel alive. Happy. At peace. The kiss we shared—it was something I've never experienced before. I wasn't sure if it was just attraction or something deeper. I even asked Tiffany if she would let me kiss her, just to test my feelings… and she agreed. I didn't mean to hurt you, Tracy. I'm so sorry."

Her heart softened as she thought, So he doesn't just go around kissing maids and feeding them lies. Maybe I was wrong to judge him. I was just… mad for nothing.

Daniel's voice broke the silence. "I'm sorry if I hurt you. Truly, I am. But I love you, Tracy. I love you so much."

Her eyes widened, her heart racing wildly. She was shocked—yet undeniably happy.

Before she could say a word, Daniel closed the space between them and claimed her lips. His kiss was deep, sensual, filled with passion, tasting her as if he longed to know every secret she held.

He finally pulled away, letting her breathe—but only for a moment. Then, without warning, he crushed his lips against hers again, more desperate this time. Tracy melted into the kiss, responding with equal passion, her hands gripping his shirt as if afraid to let go.

He pulled back just slightly, gazing at her breathless face.

"What are you doin—" Tracy whispered, but he silenced her with another tender kiss, his lips moving gently yet firmly against hers, pulling her closer into his embrace.
