Chapter 124 – Chaos of the Nine-Tails
"This is for you, Kakashi."
Hatake Yusuke handed over a tightly sealed scroll to his younger brother.
"What's this?" Kakashi asked, blinking in confusion.
"It's Kumogakure's secret technique—the training method for Black Lightning. It's not at the highest level, but it holds tremendous potential. Since you're already talented with Lightning Release, this technique will suit you well. From now on, consider it yours."
"I see… So, you're leaving already?" Kakashi looked down slightly, voice soft.
"Yeah. It's about time. When I return, I hope I'll see a shinobi I can truly be proud of."
"You can count on me, Brother. When we meet again, I'll be someone you can completely rely on."
Yusuke smiled gently. "Good. I'll go say goodbye to Dad. See you soon, Kakashi."
"Take care, Brother."
With a flicker of chakra, Yusuke vanished, using his Space-Time Ninjutsu to appear near Sakumo.
"By the Sage! Can't you knock first?! You almost gave your old man a heart attack!" Sakumo sighed dramatically, clutching his chest.
Yusuke chuckled. "Sorry, Dad… I came to say goodbye."
"When?"
"Today. Konoha's peaceful now. You know I can't stay still for too long."
A faint look of loss flashed in Sakumo's eyes, but he quickly masked it, pretending to busy himself with a stack of scrolls.
"Go on, then. The ninja world is vast and colorful. It's time for you to see it with your own eyes. But stay sharp out there."
"Hah! Dad, come on. I'm unbeatable!"
"You've said that a hundred times already," Sakumo laughed. "And weren't you the one who used to tease Kakashi for his appearance? Now look at yourself—you're even flashier than he is!"
"You just don't get the trends anymore, Dad. Besides, your son here is way too handsome. I've got to tone it down somehow. I'm just trying to live humbly, y'know?"
"And somehow, that just makes you stand out more," Sakumo said dryly.
"Well, can't help it. Your son's a masterpiece. Even this eyepatch can't hide my dazzling charm."
Yusuke's smirk faded, replaced by a sincere expression.
"I'm heading out now."
Sakumo smiled, warm and fatherly. "Go on."
"Take care of yourself, Dad." Yusuke pulled his father into a firm hug.
"You too. The shinobi world is dangerous. Stay safe out there."
Sakumo looked up at his son—now taller than him, stronger, and with a spirit that reminded him of his own youth. He couldn't have been prouder.
After saying his goodbyes to Sakumo, Yusuke also visited Kurenai and Minato to part ways. Before long, he was ready to set off—with Tsunade and her apprentice, Shizune, accompanying him.
There was no grand farewell. Just the beginning of a quiet journey.
"So, where to first?" Tsunade asked.
"Wherever the wind takes us," Yusuke replied without hesitation.
"At least make a plan!" Tsunade grumbled.
"What's the point of a destination, if the journey itself is already meaningful?" he smiled.
And so, the journey began—for the four of them to travel the vast shinobi world.

Several Years Later
Inside a bustling teahouse, three people and a small pig sat at a table. Two women, one man—and the pig was sleeping soundly in a corner.
The blonde woman was radiant. Her long golden hair flowed like silk, and her flawless face carried the strength of a seasoned kunoichi. A violet diamond seal gleamed on her forehead.
Her beauty was almost poetic—enough to make court ladies pale in comparison.
Beside her sat a tall man, around 190 cm, with white hair and matching eyelashes. Even with dark glasses covering his eyes, his handsome face drew attention like a magnet.
His features were sculpted, as if a god had personally carved his face. The natural allure he exuded made even the stunning woman beside him look dimmer by comparison. His smile was relaxed but captivating.
Across from them sat a modest-looking woman with soft features and a plain demeanor. Compared to the other two, she seemed almost… normal.
"Ready, Tsuna? Shizune?" the man asked.
"All set!" Tsunade said with a grin.
"Three… two… one… run!"
In an instant, two shadows bolted from the teahouse.
"Stop! Dine and dash!" the furious owner shouted.
"S-sorry!" Shizune stammered, bowing before scrambling after them.
Ten minutes later, far from pursuit, the three paused for breath.
"Yusuke-sama! Tsunade-sama! You always do this!" Shizune whined, out of breath.
"Haha! Come on, Shizune. We were out of money, and it's not like it's our first time."
"But Yusuke-sama, they're just humble shopkeepers! That was probably their only source of income!"
"Not my fault," Yusuke shrugged. "Blame Tsuna. She lost all our funds gambling."
"Wha—but you're a gambling genius! Why didn't you win again?!"
"Gambling's a bad habit. I'm a model shinobi—disciplined and responsible."
"Don't give me that crap!"
"I'll win next time!" Tsunade huffed. Shizune groaned in disbelief.
'Why am I stuck traveling with these two reckless maniacs…?'
"Haha, forget it. Tsuna, we're flat broke. And don't forget—you're still in debt."
"Yeah, yeah…" Tsunade grumbled.
"Tsuna, you and Shizune head back for now. I've got something to take care of," Yusuke said suddenly, expression unreadable.
"Alright. Let's go, Shizune," Tsunade nodded, not asking any questions. The two women left.
Once they were gone, Yusuke's playful air vanished.
"Come out. Did you really think that pathetic little trick would fool me?"
A slithering voice echoed from beneath the ground. "As expected of you, Yusuke-sama."
A dark, formless figure rose from the earth—Black Zetsu.
"What do you want, Black Zetsu?" Yusuke asked, calm as ever.
"To stop you from returning to Konoha."
"Oh? You? Even if Uchiha Madara himself stood before me, he wouldn't be able to stop me now."
Yusuke's power had long since surpassed his former self. Even he didn't know the true limits of his strength anymore.
"Yes… I'm well aware. But…"
Black Zetsu slowly produced a mysterious box.
In the next instant, darkness engulfed the area. A strange energy enveloped Yusuke's body, wrapping around him like a curse.

Elsewhere…
A masked man with a spiral pattern stood silently atop a tall tree, watching a young man lay flowers on a gravestone.
"Sorry for taking so long… I haven't forgotten about you, not even once," the young man whispered. "There's something I want you to know… Minato-sensei's child is about to be born. A new generation is coming—one born in peace. If only we had been born just a few years later, maybe…"
He paused.
"Rin… I'm going to see Obito."
He rose and turned away, carrying the flower basket with him.
The masked man descended, picked up the flowers… and tossed them aside.
"Rin… I'll create a world where you still live."
Removing his mask, he gazed down at the gravestone with silent sorrow… then placed the mask back over his face—and vanished.
