Chapter 64 - Izanagi

Chapter 64 – Izanagi

"Three days have passed... I wonder what decision the Uchiha Clan came to," Yusuke muttered before vanishing from where he stood.

In the blink of an eye, he arrived at the main compound of the Uchiha Clan.

"Clan Head… are we really going through with this?" one of the elders asked with a heavy tone.

"Sarutobi Hiruzen has made his decision. We don't have many options left," the clan head replied, his face worn with fatigue and pressure.

"What does that matter?! We're the Uchiha Clan!" shouted another member, voice burning with fury.

"That's enough. Bring the boy here," the clan head ordered bitterly. He knew full well they couldn't go against Hatake Sakumo, let alone the village council. And that man, Hatake Yusuke… he wasn't just any shinobi—he had defeated Namikaze Minato. At this point, their only glimmer of hope rested with Uchiha Fugaku, but even his power wasn't enough to stand against the entire village.

"Seems the Uchiha Clan Head still has a decent grasp of the situation," came a calm, mocking voice.

Yusuke walked into the compound, completely unbothered by the hostile glares surrounding him.

"You bastard! What are you doing here, outsider?!" a clan member shouted, boiling with rage.

"I'm here to kill Uchiha Gaku," Yusuke answered flatly, eyes cold.

"You filthy Hatake brat!"

"Enough." A crushing wave of pressure radiated from Yusuke's body. Half the Uchiha shinobi collapsed on the spot, unable to withstand the sheer weight of his presence. And that was him holding back.

"Hand him over. Once I'm done, I'll leave," he said coldly. His voice was calm, but none dared to oppose. The weight of his aura alone had immobilized every shinobi below jōnin level.

"Young man, don't be so arrogant. You're standing on Uchiha soil. That pride will get you killed," the clan head said coolly.

"Arrogant?" Yusuke chuckled. "That's rich coming from the Uchiha. All I did was retaliate after my father was insulted, and suddenly I'm public enemy number one?"

"I'll hand the boy over… but only after I teach you a lesson—on behalf of my clan, and for the insult to your father," the clan head said, voice calm but resolute.

Yusuke burst out laughing. "You? With that ancient body of yours?"

The entire clan glared daggers at him.

"In that case, I'll be waiting at your training ground. Don't disappoint me," he said before vanishing in a flash of light.

"If you want to humiliate yourself, don't say I didn't warn you," the clan head muttered and followed suit.

Soon, the Uchiha training ground was surrounded by clan members and onlookers. Even the village elders, clan leaders, and Hatake Sakumo were present. He had heard about the incident from Kakashi and couldn't help but worry—even if deep down, he felt a swelling pride.

"Go ahead, boy. Make the first move."

"No need. You can go first. I'll give you three free shots. I respect my elders, after all," Yusuke said with a mocking grin.

"You insolent brat! I don't need your pity!" the clan head snarled.

In the stands:

"Sakumo… who do you think will win?" Sarutobi Hiruzen asked.

"While the clan head is strong—Kage level even…" Sakumo trailed off. Everyone understood what he meant: Uchiha would lose. Their eyes turned to Yusuke, who stood calmly at the center of the arena, arms folded with confidence radiating from his posture.

"Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu!" the clan head roared.

A massive fireball hurtled toward Yusuke.

"Using fire against me? That's cute," Yusuke muttered.

"Tenken: Totsuka Slash." A burst of invisible sword pressure shattered the fireball mid-air, scattering glowing embers.

"My turn." He didn't draw his sword—he knew full well how dangerous the Sharingan's perception could be. Facing a Kage-level opponent with only Kenjutsu would be unwise.

"Speed is weight. Ever been kicked at the speed of light?"

Yusuke lunged forward and kicked. The clan head barely saw the movement—just a blur—and managed to guard his vital points at the last second. Still, the sheer impact sent him flying across the field.

"So fast…" the man gasped, his breath ragged.

"This is the Uchiha?" Yusuke sneered, staring down at him from above.

"Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation!"

"Impressive. You're a bit like Uchiha Madara... but the difference is still far too vast," Yusuke remarked, tone casual.

"Fire Fist." With a single punch, a massive orange-yellow fireball crashed forward, consuming the opponent's fire completely.

"What the hell is that? That's not normal fire… and he's not even using hand seals?!" Hiruzen muttered, eyes wide.

The clan head barely evaded.

Firefly Daruma.

Dozens of tiny flame orbs floated around him like fireflies, before erupting across his body.

"Clan Head!!"

"Sir!!"

"You think that's enough to finish me?" the man muttered under his breath.

"Fire Release: Wrath of Heaven's Flame!" Massive fire dragons spiraled through the air—far larger and hotter than typical fire jutsu. A true S-rank technique.

"S-rank fire jutsu, huh? Not bad... But still—fire is fire."

"Flame Ring: Pillar of Fire!" Yusuke spun rapidly, conjuring a vortex of searing flame like a burning tornado that rose into the sky, clashing with the dragons head-on.

"So this is the power of the White Shura… terrifying…"

"With him, who would dare threaten Konoha?"

"Congratulations, Sakumo. Truly—like father, like son."

"Tch. I underestimated that brat…" Danzo growled from the shadows.

The two fire techniques collided mid-air. While they seemed evenly matched at first, Yusuke's pressure grew. But in the last moment, he dodged—activating elementalization and vanishing through the flame.

He wasn't overpowered—just cautious. This served as a reminder not to let his guard down.

"Not bad, Clan Head. If you survive my next move, I'll let you live."

"Damn you!" the Uchiha crowd growled in frustration, feeling humiliated.

"Is that… that technique?" Sakumo murmured.

"Great Flame Ring: Flame Emperor!" A colossal sphere of fire formed in front of Yusuke. The heat was so intense that even genin in the crowd began sweating heavily despite the distance.

"Is that even human?"

"He's like a god…"

"Can the Clan Head survive this?"

"No matter what, the Uchiha pride must not fall! Fire Formation: Flame Array!"

"Oh? The technique that once held back the Eight-Tails? Let's see if it's enough," Yusuke whispered.

Holding the Flame Emperor with one arm, he charged forward.

The Flame Array cracked, then shattered under the pressure.

"Barrier Unit, activate!" Hiruzen commanded urgently.

"Damn it! Clan Head!!"

"Chief!!!"

A shockwave of flame engulfed the area, blinding everyone momentarily.

"Silence!" Yusuke's roar, backed by a burst of Conqueror's Haki-like pressure, froze the crowd in place.

"Come out, Clan Head. Hatake Yusuke never breaks his word. If you're alive, I'll spare you."

A moment later, the figure of the Clan Head slowly emerged from the smoke—unharmed. His clothes were untouched, save for one eye, which was now shut tight.

"So that was... Izanagi," Yusuke said calmly, walking forward toward the Uchiha members who had once dared to insult his father.
