Chapter 101 - Chapter 101 – Doehring Cowart Becomes a God

Several Highgod Prefecture soldiers flew over.

Sadius initially thought they were reinforcements called by the Black Cloud Fiend.

After all, this was Ziyang Prefecture, the domain of the Ziyang Prefecture Lord. His soldiers…Sadius couldn't casually kill them.

But then, the few Prefecture soldiers flew over and saluted Sadius.

"Lord, I am Darrenke, Commander of the Ziyang Prefecture's Third Legion. I bring greetings on behalf of the Prefecture Lord."

"Your Prefecture Lord… knows me?"

Sadius was curious. He certainly didn't know the Ziyang Prefecture Lord.

"The Amethyst Mountain business of the Eight Families is under the Prefecture Lord's oversight."

Sadius immediately understood.

So, the Seven-Star Fiends of the Eight Families must have already reported his situation to the Prefecture Lord.

"I killed the Black Cloud Fiend. Your Prefecture Lord won't have anything to say about that, will he?"

"You jest, Lord. The Black Cloud Fiend brought death upon himself. His divine clone has already been erased by the Prefecture Lord. He's truly and completely dead."

Not long after, another figure flew in from the distance.

Sadius felt this person was somewhat familiar.

Then he remembered—wasn't this the Six-Star Fiend leader he'd seen back in the Extreme Dao Mountains?

So, this guy had been hiding outside Black Cloud City all along, hoping to avenge his master.

"My Lord, thank you for avenging my master. I, Rexus, have nothing to repay you with. I am willing to swear my life in service to you!"

Rexus bowed deeply first, then slowly raised his head.

But when he clearly saw the man before him, his eyes widened in disbelief.

Wasn't this the Midgod who had once snuck into the castle?

How…how could he have killed the Black Cloud Fiend?!

Sadius looked at Rexus.

So, this fellow was the Black Cloud Fiend's contracted Divine Beast. No wonder he was so loyal.

"Darrenke, according to the rules, since I defeated the Black Cloud Fiend in a challenge, Black Cloud City should now be my territory, correct?"

"Lord, you jest. Black Cloud City is yours to dispose of as you please."

Sadius turned toward Rexus.

"I have no interest in Black Cloud City. From today onward, you will help me manage this city. Your master once showed me kindness. If you can one day become a Seven-Star Fiend, then you will be the City Lord of Black Cloud City."

Rexus never expected that he would be entrusted to govern Black Cloud City on behalf of the man before him. He was overjoyed beyond words.

"Thank you, my Lord!"

After settling the matter of Black Cloud City, Sadius and Dylin continued their journey.

A few days later, the two finally returned to the Thunderwing Tribe.

Seeing their father return, the Six-Eyed Golden Lion triplets were overjoyed.

Sadius' Destruction divine clone rejoined his main body.

Everyone gathered together.

"This time I've returned; I also brought some gifts for you all."

Sadius signaled to Dylin. Dylin then took out several spatial rings.

"These rings contain many resources—amethyst, inkstones, artifacts, and even Divine Sparks. Cesar, Harsel, these rings contain Midgod-level and Highgod-level Divine Sparks of the Darkness element. But I suggest you still cultivate on your own first. If you truly cannot make progress, then refine the Divine Sparks."

The two nodded.

After all, once one became a Deity, they gained endless lifespan. Even with lesser talent, given a trillion years, they could eventually reach Lowgod level.

As for the Six-Eyed Golden Lion brothers—They had originally become Deities by refining Divine Sparks.

Their own cultivation potential was extremely limited.

So, they didn't hesitate.

They directly pricked their fingers and began refining the Highgod Divine Sparks in their spatial rings.

Once fully refined, the three would all become Highgods.

Even refining Divine Sparks to reach Highgod level would give them at least Four-Star Fiend strength.

Moreover, the rings also contained many artifacts, which would boost their combat power.

With some luck, they might even reach Five-Star Fiend level.

"This time, I've been ordered by the Sovereign to head to Blood Ridge Continent to complete a task. Do you all wish to accompany me to Blood Ridge Continent, or remain here on the Redbud Continent ? If you stay, you can manage the nearby Black Cloud City."

Everyone unanimously expressed their willingness to follow Sadius to Blood Ridge Continent.

Sadius had now become a Sovereign's Emissary.

From what they knew, Beirut was also a Sovereign's Emissary.

Didn't that mean Sadius had already reached Beirut's level?

Following someone of that stature was certainly far better than staying in the Thunderwing Tribe or going to Black Cloud City.

"Good. Prepare yourselves. We'll depart soon."

The next day, Sadius took Dylin and the others aboard a metallic lifeform and left the Thunderwing Tribe.

Before leaving, he even rewarded two especially loyal tribe members with Highgod Divine Sparks.

The group flew southeast aboard the metallic lifeform.

Their destination: Blue Maple City.

From there, they would travel to the southeastern corner of the Redbud Continent , to Rainbow Sun City—the closest transit point for reaching Blood Ridge Continent.

Many travelers passed through that route.

Even with Sadius' party traveling aboard a top-grade metallic lifeform, it would still take six to seven years to reach Blue Maple City.

Soon after departure, they inevitably encountered bandits.

Most were just Lowgods or Midgods.

Sadius didn't even bother taking action.

He left it to Dylin and the others as training.

Along the journey, every bandit they met was dealt with swiftly.

After a period of travel, the Six-Eyed Golden Lion brothers finished refining their Divine Sparks and became Highgods.

When later bandits realized this metallic lifeform contained three Highgods, they didn't dare attack.

So, the group no longer faced any more ambushes.

One day—A wave of world laws descended!

Someone in Sadius' group was undergoing a breakthrough!

But it wasn't Dylin, nor the Six, nor Sadius himself.

It was…Doehring Cowart, who had been quietly residing within the Coiling Dragon ring all this time.

Everyone knew Sadius carried a Saint-level soul with him.

Normally, after death, a Saint soul would automatically go to the Netherworld.

So why was there a Saint soul still following Sadius?

They didn't know.

Sadius hadn't explained, and they didn't dare ask.

Inside the Coiling Dragon ring—Doehring Cowart had finally fully comprehended the Gravity Space profound mystery.

With Sadius' resources continuously supplied, he finally became a Deity!

According to the world's laws, he had to choose between becoming a Deity within one's own body or outside one's body.

But his original body had long since perished.

So, he could only choose outside the body.

An earth-element Divine Spark condensed from the Heaven' rules, appearing beside Sadius.

Within the Coiling Dragon ring, Doehring Cowart chose external divinity—he had no other choice.

The earth divine power gathered and condensed into a new body.

Fortunately, Sadius had already set up a spatial barrier, otherwise Doehring Cowart would have appeared before everyone completely naked.

When the barrier was removed, an elderly white-haired man in an earth-yellow robe appeared before the group.

"Doehring Cowart!"

Cesar instantly recognized him.

From what he knew, hadn't Doehring Cowart already been dead for five thousand years?

Yet somehow, this man's soul had never gone to the Netherworld.

"Cesar, long time no see."

The others didn't recognize Doehring.

So, Cesar helped introduce him. Everyone finally understood—This man had been the chief imperial court magus of the original Pouant Empire, a grandmaster of earth-element magic.

No wonder the empire Sadius established had been named the Pouant Empire.

It was surely connected to Doehring Cowart.

Doehring's ascension to Divinity was cause for another round of celebration.

Now that Doehring had become a Deity, even without his original Saint body, his soul could now reside within his new clone, completely freeing him from the constraints of the Coiling Dragon ring.

Time passed.

Seven years after leaving Ziyang Prefecture, the group finally arrived at Blue Maple City.
